Mr. Tchwella joined BluePhoenix in August 2008. He brings to this position more than 25 years experience and leadership in the high technology industry and vast experience in leading and managing global organizations. With considerable experience and the ability to turn strategy and vision into quantifiable results, Mr. Tchwella is responsible for the overall activities of the Company. Mr. Tchwella most recently served from 2007 to 2008 as president of Comverse Inc., a world leader in providing value added services to more than 500 of the largest global telecommunication companies. In this role he had direct responsibility for defining and executing the company vision and strategy, and managing thousands of employees in all financial, operational and organizational aspects. Prior to this position and as part of his 11 years at Comverse, Mr. Tchwella served as president of the Messaging Division and a member of the executive management team at Comverse. He has also held various executive managerial positions within the product, delivery and customer-facing organizations. Prior to joining Comverse, Mr. Tchwella held engineering and managerial positions over a 13 year period at Advanced Technology Ltd., known today as Ness Technology.

Mr. Harkavi is responsible for the Legacy Modernization Line of Business at BluePhoenix. Prior to this, he served as the VP of Delivery and R&D in BluePhoenix Solutions. Mr. Harkavi has 30 years of experience in the software market, in a range of operational, delivery, sales, and marketing roles. Prior to the merger with BluePhoenix, Mr. Harkavi served as VP of Operations at Crystal Systems Solutions Ltd. While there, he played a key role in the successful growth and expanded operation of the company. Mr. Harkavi established the Crystal worldwide delivery and sales infrastructure and delivered a fast revenue increase. Previous roles included regional sales and delivery management. Prior to Crystal, Mr. Harkavi served for 10 years as a Director of Software Development at Aurec, currently Amdocs Ltd., a worldwide leader in Customer Care and Billing Systems. His responsibilities included management of several major development and implementation projects in the USA and Europe. He led to completion a series of very large implementation activities, managing hundreds of people and tens of millions of dollars, for Pacific Bell Directories, GTE, SBC, and RHDonelley. The development activities that he led had a crucial impact on the business growth of Amdocs and helped open new markets. Previously, Mr. Harkavi was Branch Manager at Cav Systems, a software firm that develops and markets online, multi-user data processing commercial packages based on Digital’s VAX/VMS platform. While there, Mr. Harkavi established a new branch of the company and made it a dominant player in the travel services and customs systems markets. Prior to that he held the position of System Manager at Aman Management Consulting and Kappa Consulting. Mr. Harkavi holds a BS in Industrial Engineering and Management (cum laude) from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.

Ms. Sagiv became the Chief Financial Officer of BluePhoenix in June 2007. Between the years 1998-2007, Ms. Sagiv served as the CFO of Formula Ventures Funds, a venture capital funds company in the IT and communication arena. For different terms during 1997-2007, she also served as the CFO of several fast-growing subsidiaries of Formula Group such as Airports Intersystems Technologies Ltd., Clockwork Solutions Ltd., and Transtech Control Ltd. In addition, Ms. Sagiv served as a CFO of Jewelex Ltd., an Israeli publicly-traded company, and as an auditor manager in the accounting firm Goldberg & Co. Greg Schottland has over 20 years of high-tech industry experience. Prior to his role as Vice President ASNA, he was the VP of North America Sales for BluePhoenix and ASNA. Mr. Schottland joined BluePhoenix through the acquisition of CodeStream (formally Xitec Software) where he served as President. Greg also founded and led Advanced Software Technologies, an object-oriented software design tools provider. Greg has worked for Bell Laboratories, Lockheed Martin and IBM in both technical and business related positions, enabling him to bring both a strong background in software development and technology, along with a sharp focus on the business realities of building and growing successful technology companies. Mr. Schottland holds an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois and a B.S. in Business from the University of Colorado.

Prior to Scientia, Mr. Jimenez served as Vice President and General Manager of Comverse Latin America from 2003 to February 2008 where he had overall responsibility for sales and marketing of all Comverse products to wireline and wireless operators in Latin America. From 1984 to 1994, he held a variety of Engineering Management positions for Lucas Aero Space, a Long Island New York Defense Contractor, specializing in Avionic Weapon Systems and Microwave Communications. Mr. Jimenez received a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering through the United States Air Force, an MBA from the Dowling Institute in New York and also completed the Global Leadership Program in Organizational Structure through the Technion Institute of Management in co-operation with MIT and Harvard Schools of Business.
