Bill Miller serves as president of Mainframe Service Management (MSM) business unit. This business continues to provide the revenue stream and the technology the company needs to support the development of innovative new offerings, and provide solutions in the area of Business Service Management (BSM), while continuing to keep pace with the latest systems, data and operations technologies. Miller joined BMC Software in July 15, 2002, from BindView Development, where he had served as senior vice president and chief operating officer. Subsequent to joining BindView, Miller spent 21 years at IBM, where he held a variety of positions including in sales, marketing and general management. Miller received a Bachelor of Science Engineering degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Dallas.

Vincent (Vince) Kowalski is Chief Web Services Architect at BMC Software. Currently Vince is leading the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Web Services initiatives within the Atrium product team. Vince represents BMC in several Web Services Standards bodies including Oasis, WS-I and DMTF. Vince recently co-chaired the WS-CIM technical committee in DMTF and is currently co-chair of the CMDBf Work Group in DMTF. Prior to coming to BMC Vince was the Chief Web Technology Architect at Schlumberger and worked in various technical and leadership roles at IBM and Chevron. Vince has been actively involved in IT standards since 1992. He did a two and half-year assignment at the oil industry standards consortium, POSC. Vince represented POSC and IBM on ANSI (X3H2) and ISO committees related to the SQL Database language from 1992 to 1997. Vince holds a BA degree in Physics from Lafayette College (Easton, PA), a BA in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin and an MS in Computer Science from the University of Houston. Vince has a number of publications in the areas of software engineering, data management, distributed computing and geographical information systems.

Dan Barnea is the senior vice president, Strategy and Corporate Development of BMC Software. In this position, Barnea is responsible for driving inclusive processes to identify, propose and execute strategic initiatives for growth through organic development, acquisition and alliances. Barnea joined BMC Software in 1999 with the acquisition of New Dimension Software, where he held the post of CEO. He is credited with the significant turnaround within New Dimension Software, a success that catapulted the company into the forefront of the systems management industry. Barnea has held several senior management positions in technology companies including CEO of Laser Industries, general manager for Indigo, and vice president of research and development for Elscint. He holds Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering and Master of Science Computer Science degrees from the Technion Israel Institute of Technology.

Steve Goddard is senior vice president, business operations for BMC Software, Inc. Goddard served as the vice president of assurance from April 2007 until being named senior vice president, business operations in November 2008. He served as the senior director of internal controls from September 2005 to March 2007 and joined BMC Software, Inc. in July 2003 as the director of IT governance. Prior to joining BMC Software, Inc., Goddard was with Arthur Andersen for twenty-five years, serving in various leadership positions including the gulf coast managing partner. Goddard received a Bachelors in Business Administration degree from Texas A&M University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Bill Koehl is Vice-President and General Manager for BMC Software in EMEA. In this role, Bill has overall responsibility for BMCa s sales and service operations and execution throughout EMEA. He is instrumental in helping the company expand its Business Service Management success and provide customers with IT solutions that map to their business needs. His coverage spans 19 countries. With a proven, 20-years track record working with BMC Software, this will be Billa s fourth international assignment with the company. He is located in Amsterdam (EMEA Headquarters) and reports directly to Cos Santullo, SVP Worldwide Sales and Services, BMC Software. During his 20 years service with the company, Bill has held numerous leadership positions in sales, field operations, and field marketing, both in the U.S. and abroad. Billa s previous role was VP, Worldwide Field Operations: in this role, he oversaw the operational support functions for the global field organization.

Nick Glover is the Vice President of Mainframe Service Management (MSM), EMEA for BMC Software, Inc. [NYSE:BMC], a leading provider of enterprise management solutions. In this position, Glover reports directly in to the US but works closely with the European Management team. The MSM Sales and Software Consulting team report directly to Glover whoa s responsibility is to drive and deliver results for the MSM business within EMEA. Glover also works closely with Corporate and Regional Marketing across the three BMC EMEA regions, to generate sales pipeline opportunities for the Mainframe business. Glover has worked for BMC Software for 15 years in a variety of roles. He joined the company as an Account Manager in the UK, moved across to become the UK Channel Manager and subsequently the EMEA Channel Director. Glover then took the role of Vice President, Business Unit Field Executive for Enterprise Data Management and Enterprise Systems Management EMEA and was involved in building the Inside Sales Division (iSD) in Dublin. More recently, Glover was VP, EMEA Marketing. He is based in Egham in the UK. Prior to BMC Software, Glover spent 12 years at 3M UK PLC as Sales and Marketing Manager for their Business Product Division. His hobbies are running and cycling.

Mr. Woodhill has worked in enterprise computing for 30 years, first for customer organizations, then for software vendor companies, and now as an early-stage investor. Currently, Mr. Woodhill is a General Partner of JMI-MWSV Fund, Inc. JMI-MWSV has made many early-stage investments in companies specializing in the Internet security area, including: Authentify, Securant Technologies, TrustedTransport.com, Software Realization and RiskWatch. In addition, Mr. Woodhill was the seed investor and VP Marketing for Mission Critical Software, Inc. (NASD:MCSW). He also co-founded MVS Software, a maker of console automation products. Mr. Woodhill graduated in 1969 with a B.S. in Business from the Illinois Institute of Technology.

Michele leads the creative and brand direction for ExpertCEO. Michele founded Davanti, a brand management consulting group in Silicon Valley. In addition, he is the Director of Branding for BMC Software. Previously, he served in Marketing and Communications positions with Remedy Corporation, Peregrine Systems, Extricity, and Accenture. Michele holds a B.F.A in Painting and Sculpture from the University of Southern California and studied Economics at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.

Betsy has built her career generating sales leads, visibility, and buzz for global software, services, and dot-com companies. She is currently Senior Manager, Worldwide Marketing in the Identify Software division of BMC Software. Originally from Buffalo, Betsy graduated from Princeton University then spent 12 years in Boston, where she was active in the Assoc. of Women in Communications and PRSA. Betsy and her husband moved to Cary in 2002, where they now feel quite at home with all the other relocated yankees. Betsy has been part of the Triangle AMA Board since the 2002-2003 season, previously serving as VP of Sponsorships, VP of Communications, and Director at Large.

Ian Barraclough is a Network Architect at BMC Software in Houston, Texas, with more than 17 years experience in Internet Technology with a strong background in LAN, WAN, security, Internet, load balancing, caching, Unix systems administration and scripting. He leads an engineering group of LAN, WAN and Network Security professionals who manage the daily network infrastructure operations and development of this multinational $3 billion company. BMC Software is a leading global provider of enterprise management solutions that empower companies to automate their IT and align it to the needs of the business.

Ms. O Neil is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Liberty Street Advisors, LLC, a company that she founded in 2001. Liberty Street Advisors, LLC advises public and private companies on corporate governance, risk management, strategy development, infrastructure needs, leadership alignment and execution of change initiatives. Prior to her work at Liberty Street Advisors, Ms. O Neil was employed at IBM as General Manager of the company s Global Financial Markets Infrastructure Group from January 2001 to September 2001. Prior to joining IBM, Ms. O Neil served for 24 years at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in a series of executive roles including Chief Operations Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Risk Officer. Earlier in her career she was the bank s Chief Financial Examiner. She is also a member of the boards of directors of John Carroll University, Guidance Software and MetLife Bank, N.A.

Kathleen O Neil has served as a member of the Board of Directors for Guidance Software, Inc. since December 2005 and has served as our Lead Independent Director since February, 2007. She is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer for Liberty Street Advisors, LLC, where she has served since October 2001. Prior to joining Liberty Street Advisors, LLC, from January 2001 to September 2001, she served as General Manager of Global Financial Markets Infrastructure for IBM. From 1976 to 2000, Ms. O Neil held a number of executive positions with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Ms. O Neil has served on the Board of Directors of BMC Software since 2002, the Board of Directors of MetLife Bank since 2004 and the Board of Directors of the Motley Fool Independence Fund as of this month. Ms. O Neil received a B.S. in Economics from John Carroll University, and received an M.B.A. from Wharton Graduate School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Tinsley has been a Partner with General Atlantic Partners, a private equity investment firm, since February 2001 and served as a Special Advisor to the firm from September 1999 until becoming a partner. Mr. Tinsley joined Baan Company N.V., in November 1995 as President and Chief Operating Officer. He was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer in July 1998 and served in that position until June 1999. Prior to joining Baan, he was a Director at McKinsey & Company, Inc., where he was employed for eighteen years. Mr.Tinsley is a director of several private technology companies.
