Harbinger

Having excelled in nearly every facet of advertising agency operations including account management, media placement, and copywriting for print, radio and television, Hal brings a wide range of industry experience to the firm. Prior to co-founding Harbinger, Hal has worked for several regional and national advertising agencies, servicing such recognizable accounts as American Express, General Electric, Lockheed Martin and Duke University. Hal graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Appalachian State University and holds several industry awards for creative excellence.

An award-winning graphic designer with more than eight years experience, Michael focuses on developing intuitive and attractive websites as well as creative print design solutions. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Studio Art from Florida State University in 1999, and prior to moving to Raleigh, he managed the graphics department of a public relations and advertising firm in Tallahassee, Florida. Michael has worked on projects for numerous organizations including American Cancer Society, American Lung Association of Florida, the Florida Chamber of Commerce, The Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA), Delta Connection and the St. Joe Community Foundation. When not designing websites, he is strumming away at his guitar.

Russell joins Harbinger after a successful nine-year career in the manufacturing industry as a part owner of a local custom sheet metal fabrication plant, which employed 50+ people and had plants in Missouri and Iowa. Russell also brings with him several years of commercial real estate and property management experience; all which have given him a great understanding of the local industrial property market, as well as experience working with commercial leases, tenants, and property owners. Russell graduated in 2007 with his Masters in Business Administration from the University of Missouri Kansas City, Bloch School of Business. He is also a student in the inaugural class of the Lewis White Center for Real Estate at the Bloch School where he is adding an emphasis in Commercial Real Estate to his MBA. Russell is currently pursuing his CCIM designation, and is a licensed real estate salesperson in Missouri and Kansas.
