Rob Hirst joined Milk Link in October 2003 as Commercial Director where he was responsible for sales of Ingredients. Rob has over ten years' experience in the retail sector, eight of which are specifically in the food industry. Previous positions include Dairy Category Manager, Tesco from 1987 to 2003 and retail store management roles at Safeway.

David came to Eagle in 1994 from SUNY College at Geneseo, NY, where he was an Assistant Professor in Mathematics for five years. Prior to that, David had taught mathematics at The University of Pennsylvania and The University of Michigan. He earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics at UCLA. Since joining Eagle, David has worked on a great variety of projects for clients that include GMAC, Guittard Chocolate, Nestle, Safeway, Siemens, Varian and Wells Fargo Bank. One of Davida s special contributions to Eagle has been his skill at analyzing and solving difficult application problems. His technical experience includes C++, Delphi, Visual Basic, PowerBuilder, Oracle, SQL Server and Informix.

Ms. Lewis earned her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. She was an Echols Scholar as an undergraduate of the University of Virginia. She has been Senior Corporate Counsel with Safeway Inc., a Fortune 50 company, since 1995. Ms. Lewis is a member of the California Chamber of Commerce Legal Protection and Reform Committees. She also represents Safeway on both the California Grocers Association Legal Advisory Committee and the California Retailers Association Legal Committee. Ms. Lewis is a member of the Executive Leadership Council, Treasurer of the Youth Law Center, and member of the Oakland Ballet Board and the Heads Up Advisory Board. She served as a Trustee of the (then) Alta Bates Medical Center and is a past Chair of the Bay Area Urban League. Ms. Lewis was appointed to the Board of Trustees in December 2006. She Chairs the Governance Committee and sits on the Finance Committee and Quality/Professional Services Committee.

Phil is the Director of Tax Planning and Analysis at Safeway, where he has worked since 1985. Previously he worked at Peat Marwick (now KPMG), a CPA firm. Originally from South Carolina, Phil attended the University of South Carolina and Northeastern University in Boston. A resident of Berkeley, he serves on the board of directors of the San Francisco chapter of the Tax Executives Institute.

Mr. Ching has been Senior Vice President and the Chief Information Officer for Safeway Inc., a food and drug retailer, since 1994. Previously, Mr. Ching was the General Manager for British American Consulting Group, a software and consulting firm focusing on the distribution and retail industry. He also worked for Lucky Stores, Inc., a subsidiary of American Stores Company from 1979 to 1993, and was the Senior Vice President of Information Systems in the last five years.

Joe Devine is currently CTO of eBags, and has 20 years of experience in software development and technology management with successful internet startups as well as Fortune 50 companies. Prior to his position at eBags, Devine served as CTO of Motosport, where he oversaw the entire IT staff, designed, developed and deployed a completely new LAMP-based web presence, and was responsible for strategic planning for the entire organization. He was also a member of the executive team. As chief technical officer for Safeway.com, he oversaw all technical needs (operations, support, infrastructure, systems engineering, data center operations, software development) of the company and managed third party relationships related to technology. Before the company was acquired by Safeway, Inc., Devine was senior vice president, Technology at Groceryworks.com where he was responsible for the development, launch and management of the site. When the company restructured in 2001, he assumed the roll of acting-CTO, managing all technological issues. Previously, Devine held senior technology positions with TheGift.com, 1800Flowers.com and Texas Instruments, Inc. where he managed custom websites, backend systems, customer service systems, personalization and CRM systems, warehousing and third-party extranet portals. At TI, he led a multinational software development team providing infrastructure applications and business process automation for software developers and IC design engineers in over 30 countries. Devine has a B.A. in Computer Science, Mathematics and Psychology from Austin College.

Amanda is a Flagstaff native and has been employed at Safeway for 11 years. She recently received a degree in Criminal Justice from Coconino Community College. She is looking forward to working with Friends of Flagstaff's Future to learn about different aspects of our town and is also looking forward to sharing her ideas about the future of Flagstaff.

In January of 1981, Barbara Nelson started her successful career in commercial real estate in downtown Seattle. In the record time of just 4 years, Barbara leased three high-rise office buildings. In 1985, when the downtown Seattle office market faced a surplus of properties, she re-directed her focus. She became intrigued with the community shopping center industry and proceeded to build centers in Washington and Oregon, ranging in size from 120,000 square feet to 160,000 square feet. Anchor tenants of these centers include Safeway Marketplace, Fleming Foods, Hollywood Video, Associated Grocers and Ross Dress for Less. The experience gained in this complex and competitive market of commercial real estate, has proven extremely valuable. Barbara has since put together various real estate projects, all of which are also making a highly satisfactory Return On Investment for their owners. Bill's varied incarnations include stints in retail with Liquor Barns - Safeway in the San Francisco Bay area, and Pearson's in Atlanta as well as wholesale experience with both Atlanta Wholesale Wine and National Distributors. In these last two positions he was in very key positions of Fine Wine Key Account Management. Once again, his talents and his passions commit him to a level of expertise that is uncommon. Bill contributes with a very large heart to the development and growth of a new business model that will build on a very new and creative level, a distributorship that is in touch and in sync with both the individual customers and with the overall market growth as well.

Bob earned his B.S. in Business Administration from Spring Garden College. He has 35 years of produce experience in supermarket and gourmet specialty retail operations and merchandising including key management positions with Genuardi's Family Markets, Zagara's Specialty Stores, and Safeway.

In her current capacity at Syndero, Corri provides strategic leadership and operational direction as she builds Syndero s "World Class Customer Support Call Center. Corri joined the company from the MSS Group and MCI Telecommunications where she was the Director of Global Implementation and Technical Client Support. She is credited with opening new territories and developing long-standing customer relationships for leading firms such as Wells Fargo, Safeway, Charles Schwab, and Kaiser. Through her efforts, these companies were able to generate millions of dollars in additional revenue each year while taking a more customer-centric approach to embracing continuous improvement company-wide. As a 20 year veteran in the Customer Service and Call Center Industry, Corri has substantial experience in meeting the needs of the customer and is committed to creating a world class call center for Syndero.

A member for 33 years, Dave is an activist in his community of Courtenay as well as being a Shop Steward for 30 years at Safeway. He has represented Local 1518 as a delegate to the Campbell River/Courtenay Labour Council for 12 years. Dave is a former Executive Board member who left to take up the position of President of the United Way in Courtenay a number of years ago.

The founder and president of Citivision Commercial Real Estate, Ed Maiello, has held a broker's license for more than 12 years. In that time he has leased, sold and developed more than 1,500,000 square feet of industrial and retail space within San Francisco. Recent projects include the 200,000 square foot Potrero Center, a highly successful retail complex. The center includes tenants such as Safeway, Old Navy, Ross, Blockbuster Video, The Gap, Peet's Coffee, Radio Shack, the U.S. Post Office, 24-Hour Nautilus, and more. Ed is a graduate of the University of Arizona and a native of New York.

Frank Pozzobon brings a wide variety of experience to the position of Secretary Treasurer. Frank first became a member of UFCW Local 1518 when he started working at Safeway in 1976. In 1987, Frank began working as a Union Representative for UFCW Local 1518. In 2000, Frank was promoted to the position of Director of Member Services, responsible for the supervision of twenty Union Representatives, in addition to coordinating the provision of Union services for 25,000 UFCW Local 1518 members. Among his responsibilities was developing negotiations strategies, negotiating contracts, handling and coordinating grievances and arbitrations, developing up-and-coming leaders in the organization, providing Union education, and organizing new members into the Union.

Maggie Connor is the Lead Trainer for Ultimate Journey. A dynamic trainer and business & personal consultant, her career began in 1993 when she started working with business owners and sports teams. She has dedicated her career to finding ways to assist both large and small businesses, sports teams and individuals in achieving desired goals and enhancing performance. Maggie is highly trained to increase effectiveness and profitability as quickly as possible. Mrs. Connor has been committed to personal success training, with the intention of dramatically increasing individual success and income. Maggie was consistently top five in the world as a US National Ski Team member for more than a decade. She is a 1992 Olympian and the 1994 & 1995 World Professional Mogul Skiing Champion. Through sports, she learned that peak performance in any arena requires physical conditioning AND emotional balance plus mental clarity and focus. She applies these same principles to her training with individuals and businesses with dramatic results.
