S.D. Shibulal is a co-founder and member of the Board of Directors of Infosys Technologies Limited. He took over from S. Gopalakrishnan as Chief Operating Officer on June 22, 2007. His focus is on increasing competitiveness, improving customer experience, improving employee engagement and increasing the depth of services.
Prior to June 22, 2007, Shibulal served as Group Head – Worldwide Sales & Customer Delivery, where he was responsible for the performance of practice units in terms of value delivered to customers, business performance, and organizational efficiency. This was complemented by his other responsibilities in fostering innovation, leadership, teamwork and work values within the organization.
In 1981 he started sales operations in the North American region and managed customer relationships for the next ten years, predominantly in the manufacturing and retail sectors.
Between 1991 and 1996 he took a sabbatical with Sun Microsystems where he was responsible for designing and implementing SunPlaza, Sun’s first e-commerce application, supporting online ordering, payments and distribution of software. As Senior Information Resource Manager, he was a consultant to various divisions of Sun Microsystems in the areas of architecture, auditing, implementation and security policies. He was chosen ‘Producer of the Year’ and received the SunIR Academy Award for 1995.
In 1997, on his return to Infosys, Shibulal established and headed the Internet Consultancy Practice and also served as Head of Manufacturing, Distribution and Y2K Business Unit. He took over as Worldwide Head of Customer Delivery in 1999 with the responsibility of creating and managing a scalable delivery organization, which he continues to hold.
Shibulal received a master’s degree in Physics from the University of Kerala and an MS in Computer Science from Boston University.
Ashok Vemuri is a Senior Vice President and heads the Banking and Capital Markets business unit at Infosys. He also serves on the Board of Infosys Consulting. Mr. Vemuri joined Infosys in 1999, and has headed Infosys' operations in Canada and the Eastern North America region. He has previously worked in the investment banking industry with Bank of America and Deutsche Bank. Mr. Vemuri received a Bachelor's degree with Honors in Physics from St. Stephens College, Delhi, and a Master's in Business Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.

Subhash Dhar is a Senior Vice President and heads the Communications, Media and Entertainment business unit at Infosys. He also serves on the board of Infosys Australia. Mr. Dhar joined Infosys in 1997 as member of its E-Business Practice and has served in various other capacities since then. In 2007, Mr. Dhar was chosen by the World Economic Forum as one of 25 Young Global Leaders from India. He is also on the executive board of the International Telecommunication Union's 'Connect the World' initiative. His background in finance, IT, marketing and strategy enables him to understand how technology can support a company's strategies, processes, operations and management activities. Mark manages large transformation activities within clients that drive real change and significant shareholder value.
Mathias has more than 10 years of consulting and industry experience in helping organizations increase competitiveness and create shareholder value. His expertise covers strategic planning, customer and product strategy, operations strategy, supply chain management and package-enabled business transformation. Mathias works with manufacturing clients to define strategies, translate those strategies into actionable initiatives and program manage implementation. Prior to Infosys Consulting, he held strategy and operations positions at Deloitte Consulting and Ross Stores.
Mohandas Pai is Member of the Board and Director-Human Resources, Education and Research and Administration. He joined Infosys in 1994 and has served as a Member of the Board since May 2000. He served as the Chief Financial Officer from 1994 to 2006. In 2006, he voluntarily remitted the office of CFO to lead efforts in the areas of Human Resources and Education and Research.
As the CFO, Mohan played a strategic role in transforming Infosys into one of the world’s most respected and widely known software services companies. He formulated the country’s first publicly articulated financial policy for the company. He played a key role in branding the company among the investor community and enhancing transparency and disclosure levels. The Infosys Annual Report, under his supervision, has won the Best Presented Annual Accounts Award from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for ten years in succession as well as from the South Asia Federation of Accountants in 2000.
Mohan was an integral part of the Infosys team that enabled the first listing of an India-registered company on NASDAQ and the first sponsored secondary offering of American Depositary Shares by an Indian company. He was voted ’CFO of the Year’ in 2001 by IMA India (formerly EIU India) and American Express. He won the ’Best CFO in India’ award from Finance Asia in 2002, and ’Best Chief Financial Officer in India’' in the Best Managed Companies poll conducted by AsiaMoney in 2004.
Mohan has been active in working with regulators to improve the business ecosystem. He was also a member of the Kelkar Committee, constituted by the Ministry of Finance, Government of India (GoI) for reforming direct taxes, the Non-Resident Taxation Committee, the High Powered Committee on e-Commerce and Taxation. He is currently a member of the SEBI Accounting Standards Sub-committee and the Empowered Committee for setting up the Tax Information Network of the GoI.
He also works with the union and state governments in the fields of education, Information Technology and business. Mohan is also a Trustee of the International Accounting Standards Committee Foundation, the body that oversees the International Accounting Standards Board. He is working with governments and decision-makers across India to improve the quality of education and availability of skilled manpower. He is also involved with the Akshaya Patra Foundation, a project that provides mid-day meals to over 950,000 children across India, which aims to reach out to one million children.
Mohan holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from St. Joseph’s College of Commerce, Bangalore, and a bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) from Bangalore University. He is also a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA).
Srinath Batni, trustee of the Infosys Foundation, has served as a Director with Infosys since May 2000. Mr Batni received a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. Prior to joining Infosys, he was Senior Manager Technical Support, with an Indian subsidiary of a French multinational. Mr Batni joined Infosys in 1992 as Project Manager. Between 1996 and 2000, he served as Senior Vice President and Head Retail and Telecommunications Business Unit, Infosys. He is currently Head Strategic Groups and Co-Customer Delivery at Infosys. Mr Batni also serves on the Board of Infosys China and Infosys Australia.
Animesh Sharma is a healthcare informatics specialist at Dimagi. His educational qualifications, work experience and skill sets cut across fields like clinical medicine, computer science and bioinformatics. Animesh has worked in diverse settings, holding professional positions in academia at premier research institutes in India and as a graduate student in the United States. His research has focused on applying pattern matching and other machine learning techniques to identify regulatory networks at the genomic level. On the industry side, his experience includes appointments at Infosys Technologies Inc., a leading Information Technology Services company in India. While at Infosys, Animesh was instrumental in the development and implementation of the Oracle clinical works software application. Animesh received an MBBS degree from the prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi and a Post Graduate Diploma in Bioinformatics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi. He is an enthusiastic computer hacker and an active seeker of knowledge. Animesh is based in New Delhi, India.

Tony Richmond is a partner in the firm's Silicon Valley office. He has significant experience in finance and securities matters involving public and private companies, as well as in mergers and acquisitions, tender offers and leveraged recapitalizations. Recent merger transactions include the acquisition of control of IMP, Inc. by TeamAsia Semiconductor of India, the sale of PictureWorks Technology to Internet Pictures Corporation and the acquisition of Metro-Optix, Inc. from Ericsson, Inc. Recent public offerings include initial public offerings by Sify Limited, Satyam Computer Services, Vicinity Corporation and Infosys Technologies Limited. Mr. Richmond also regularly represents institutional equity investors in a variety of assignments, and acts as outside general counsel for several public companies. Private equity representations include venture capital, advanced stage and buy-out and recapitalization financings sponsored by firms such as JPMorgan, Norwest Equity Partners and Broadview Capital. Mr. Richmond received a B.S. degree in finance and accounting from the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley in 1982, where he received the Departmental Citation as the top academic graduate in a class of approximately 240. He was employed for three years by a Big-4 public accounting firm as a senior accountant, with experience in audit and federal and state taxation. In 1988, Mr. Richmond received his J.D. from the Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California at Berkeley, graduating in the top five percent of his class. He joined Latham & Watkins as an associate in November of 1988. Mr. Richmond is admitted to practice in California, where he is also licensed as a Certified Public Accountant.
Eric has more than 13 years of consulting experience in process improvement, IT cost reduction, and business transformation through implementation of complex enterprise-application solutions. His experience includes solution design and business case development, analysis-design-build, integrated testing, change management and training, implementation cutover and support, and long-term maintenance transition.
Jeff has 20 years of consulting and operation experience in supply chain, product development and IT. He helps executives find and resolve the process, organizational and technology issues related to product innovation and improving supply chain performance. Jeff is a Six Sigma Black Belt.
Jeffrey Saper is Vice Chairman of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, the largest law firm in the Silicon Valley specializing in technology and emerging growth companies. He also serves as a member of the firm's Executive Management and Policy Committees. Jeff specializes in public and private financings of technology companies and corporate partnership transactions, as well as representation of leading investment banks and corporate issuers in connection with public offerings and mergers and acquisitions. He also has extensive expertise in cross-border corporate transactions, including the $640 million acquisition of Dr. Solomon (U.K.) by Network Associates; the initial public offering by Infosys Technologies, Ltd., the first U.S. offering by an Indian company; and the initial public offering by SCM Microsystems, which was one of the first simultaneous dual listings on NASDAQ and the Neuer Market. He has also represented two Israeli companies, Backweb Ltd. and ClickSoftware Technologies, in their initial U.S. public offerings, and currently serves as principal outside corporate counsel in the U.S. for Check Point Software, one of the largest publicly traded Israeli companies. Jeff has spoken on a variety of corporate securities issues, including the public offering process and analyst communications, as well as related disclosure and corporate governance obligations of publicly traded issuers. He serves as counsel to numerous public and private companies and venture capital funds. Jeff has been involved in more than 200 public offerings, and has served as company counsel with respect to such prominent initial public offerings as Apple, Infosys, Linear Technology, Micron Technology and Quantum.
Jim has more than 18 years of experience in consulting. Over the last six years, he has helped companies in large merger and integration programs. He specializes in helping enterprises transform IT by focusing on improving performance, reducing cost and reorganization. At Infosys, Jim leads the IT Strategy Practice, which includes IT Delivery Excellence, IT Strategy and Management, Support for the Growth Agenda, and e-Business strategy.
Mandeep has 17 years of experience, having worked with telecom service providers and OEMs, transforming their operations, enabling them for Next Generation Products/Services and optimizing their current cost base. He has helped telcos adopt a standardized process-driven culture for structuring their OSS/BSS landscape and operations. Paul and his wife Michelle have been visiting Siesta Key since 1994 and made it their permanent residence in 1999. They have a 5 year old daughter. Paul has a Masters from MIT and is a business consultant with Infosys Technologies.

Kundapur Vaman Kamath is the non-executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of ICICI Bank Limited, India's second largest bank. Kamath has a degree in mechanical engineering as well as one in management studies from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He started his career in 1971 at ICICI, an Indian financial institution that founded ICICI Bank and merged with it in 2002. In 1988, he moved to the Asian Development Bank and spent several years in South-east Asia before returning to ICICI as its Managing Director and CEO in 1996. Under his leadership, the ICICI Group transformed itself into a diversified, technology-driven financial services group that has leadership positions across banking, insurance and asset management in India, and an international presence. He retired as Managing Director and CEO in April 2009, and took up his present position. Kamath was awarded the Padma Bhushan, one of India’s highest civilian honors, in 2008. He was given the Lifetime Achievement Award at the NDTV Profit Business Leadership Awards 2008; was named 'Businessman of the Year' by Forbes Asia and The Economic Times ‘Business Leader of the Year' in 2007; Business Standard's 'Banker of the Year' and CNBC-TV18's 'Outstanding Business Leader of the Year’ in 2006; Business India's 'Businessman of the Year' in 2005; and CNBC's 'Asian Business Leader of the Year' in 2001. He has been given an honorary Ph.D. by the Banaras Hindu University. Kamath was the president of the Confederation of Indian Industry for the year 2008-09.

Goswami has served on several government committees. He was the Chairman of the Committee on Industrial Sickness and Corporate Restructuring in 1993, which recommended revamping India?s bankruptcy laws and procedures; member of the Working Group on the Companies Act; the CII Committee on Corporate Governance; the Rakesh Mohan Committee on Railway Infrastructure Reform; the Vijay Kelkar Committee on Direct Tax Reforms; the Naresh Chandra Committee on Auditor-Company Relationship; the N.R. Narayana Murthy SEBI Committee on Corporate Governance Reforms; and others. Goswami has been a consultant to the World Bank, the IMF, the Asian Development Bank and the OECD. He serves on the board of Dr. Reddy?s Laboratories and Infosys Technologies ? two of India?s most prestigious knowledge?based companies. He also serves on the board of Infrastructure Development Finance Company, Crompton Greaves, Cairn India Ltd. and DSP-Merrill Lynch Fund Managers. Other than his regular columns for newspapers and magazines, Goswami has authored three books and over 70 research papers on economic history, industrial economics, public sector, bankruptcy laws and procedures, economic policy, corporate finance, corporate governance, public finance, tax enforcement and legal reforms.
