Through his extensive contacts developed at Bay Relations and through his family's long-term friendships with local political leaders, Tim is truly able to call anyone anytime for almost any question or favor. At VF&Co, Tim is responsible not only for partnering with Valerie on her myriad of business projects inside and outside of VF&Co including real estate development, venture investing, and charitable contributions, but for the overall administrative and financial responsibilities of the consulting firm, which encompasses working with all the consulting groups: the search team, the consulting team, the contracting team, and the career transition group. He is proud of his Latino heritage from the Mexican state of Michoacan, and particularly enjoys helping with his family's tamale production parties. He also loves sports, especially the San Francisco 49ers and the San Francisco Giants, and is a laid back tailgater. Tim has an AA from San Joaquin Delta Community College, and a just-completed Certificate in Small Business Accounting from California State University, East Bay. He and his wife, Liz, live in the East Bay and are active real estate investors. Additionally, as a true young entrepreneur, Tim is the co-founder and part owner of a security firm holding contracts with leading San Francisco-based hotels and nightclubs.
