Braskem S.A.

Mr. Fadigas is currently one of our vice president executive officers, our chief financial officer and director of investor relations, being also responsible for the areas of TI and Strategic Planning. He was also a member of the board of directors of Politeno prior to its merger into Braskem. Prior to joining our company, Mr. Fadigas was the Chief Financial Officer of Construtora Norberto Odebrecht S.A. since 2002. Mr. Fadigas held a variety of positions at OPP and Trikem, companies which were merged into Braskem. Mr. Fadigas holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Universidade de Salvador - UNIFACS and an MBA from the Institute for Management Development in Switzerland.

Mr. Ferro is currently the vice president executive officer and general counsel of Braskem, the vice president of the board of directors of Politeno, a member of the board of directors of Polialden, and an alternate member of the board of directors of Petroflex. He served as a lawyer at the law firm of Carlos Eduardo Paladini Cardoso in 1989 and as a lawyer at the law firm of Bulhões Pedreira, Bulhões Carvalho e Advogados Associados from 1991 until 1995. Mr. Ferro holds a law degree from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro and an LL.M. degree from the University of London and from the London School of Economics.

Elected chief executive officer of Braskem in July 4, 2008, Mr. Gradin joined Odebrecht Group in 1987. He participated in the entire creation and strategy-formulation process at Braskem, where he has performed important executive roles, such as vice-president of the Vinyls Unit from 2002 through 2004 and vice-president of the Basic Petrochemicals Unit from 2004 through 2007. Most recently he served as head of Odebrecht Infrastructure and Investments (OII). Mr. Gradin was a member of the board of directors of Copesul, Cetrel, OPP Química and Trikem. Mr. Gradin holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the Universidade Federal da Bahia, a master’s degree in international politics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA degree from The Wharton School of Business.

Mr. Silva is currently one of the vice president executive officers of Braskem and head of Human Resources. Mr. Enio Silva has developed his professional life on Organização Odebrecht, where has been joining for more than 20 years. Mr. Enio Silva has served, for four years, as management director of Bento Pedroso Construções, an Odebrecht Company in Portugal, and has worked with multilateral agencies for funding in the U.S. Mr. Silva holds a bachelor degree in business and administration from Universidade Católica do Salvador and holds a business management MBA from Coppead - UFRJ.

Mr. Mendonça is currently one of the vice president executive officers of Braskem and head of the Polymers Unit. Prior to this, he served as vice-president of Braskem’s Basic Petrichemicals Unit and as vice-president of Polyolefins Unit. Mr. Mendonça also worked for 15 years at Rhodia S.A., where he served as general manager of production, supply and finance and marketing, as an officer in the chemical division (Latin America) and as vice president of Rhodia U.S.A. Mr. Mendonça holds a bachelor degree in production engineering from Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo and an MBA degree from INSEAD - France.

Mr. Cortez is currently one of the vice president executive officers of Braskem and head of the Basic Petrochemicals Unit, Mr. Cortez has served as vice-president executive of the Vinyls during 2008, vice-president of the Basic Petrochemicals Unit from 2007 to 2008, industrial director of the Basic Petrochemicals Unit from 2004 to 2007 and industrial director of the Vinyls Unit from 2003 to 2004. He is also president of SINPEQ - Syndicate of the Chemical and Petrochemical Products Companies and vice president of COFIC - Committee of Industrial Development. Mr. Cortez holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Universidade Federal da Bahia, and an MBA degree from Faculdade Getúlio Vargas - FGV.

Mr. Lyra is the vice president of Institutional Relations at Braskem. From 2000 to 2003, he served as director of Affiliated Broadcasting Stations Relations at Rede Globo de Televisão, in São Paulo. He also held a variety of positions in Rede Bahia de Comunicação, initially serving as commercial director and more recently, from 2003 and 2007, working as media business director. Mr. Lyra is graduated in electric-electronic engineering from the Universidade Federal da Bahia and holds a post-graduate degree in Marketing from Unifacs da Bahia. He also has a complementary graduation in General Management from Harvard Business School.

Mr. Ramos is currently one of the vice president executive officers of Braskem and head of its Internationalization Business Unit. He is a member of the board of directors of Cetrel and Companhia Alagoas Industrial - Cinal, and the vice president of the board of directors of Petroflex. Mr. Ramos was a member of the board of directors of Trikem and served on the board of directors of several companies in the Odebrecht Group. Mr. Ramos holds a bachelor degree in mechanical engineering from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, a post-graduate degree in the Program for Management Development from Harvard Business School and a master's degree in finance from the University of Leicester, England.

Mr. Pais is currently one of the vice president executive officers of Braskem and head of Technology, Innovation, Supply and Quality . Prior to joining our company, Mr. Pais held a variety of positions in Petrobras since 1974, serving as general manager of Supply Chain of the Supply Department from 1999 to 2002, manager of Petrochemical Projects from 2002 to 2004 and general manager of COMPERJ Deployment from 2006 to 2008. Mr. Pais holds a bachelor degree in chemical engineering from the Escola Nacional de Química - ENQ from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro - UFRJ.

Nominated to Braskem’s board of directors on July 31, 2007, Mr. Cunha is currently the President of the board of directors of Tele Norte Leste ( Telemar ) and member of the boards of directors of Lupatech and Log-In. Mr. Cunha held a variety of positions at the Economic and Social Development Bank - BNDES, having served as Vice President and responsible for Industrial Operations, Legal Department and Fiscal Subjects from 1998 to 2002. He also served as vice president executive officer of Strategic Planning at Braskem from 2003 to 2005. Mr. Cunha holds a bachelor degree in mechanical engineering from the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade Católica de Petrópolis and a master’s degree in Industrial Projects and Transportation from the COPPE/UFRJ - Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.

Mr. Cunha Filho was elected to the board of directors as a nominee of Odebrecht and has been a member of Braskem’s board of directors since 1997. He is currently the president of Valora Participações Ltda. Mr. Cunha Filho served as vice president of the board of directors of Norquisa from 1997 through 1999, and from 2001 through 2003 as a member of the board of directors of Norquisa. He has also occupied several executive positions in subsidiaries and affiliates of Odebrecht. Mr. Cunha Filho holds a bachelor degree in civil engineering and a master degree in economics from the Universidade Federal da Bahia.

Mr. Novis has been a member of the board of directors as a nominee of Odebrecht since 2001. He has been the administrator of the board of directors of Odebrecht since December 2003, the chief Financial officer and an executive officer of Odebrecht since July 1998, and serves in various capacities with other companies in the Odebrecht Group. In 1980, he was elected managing director of Banco Iochpe de Investimentos, where he became president in 1995 upon its association with Bankers Trust Company. Mr. Novis holds a bachelor degree in economics from the Universidade do Rio de Janeiro and a master degree in Public Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas.

Mr. Brito was elected to the board of directors on July, 2006. He is the director of BCP S.A. - Claro. Mr. Brito has already served in various positions of the Brazilian public sector such as Governor of the State of Rio Grande do Sul, Ministry of Social Welfare and Congressman. He is graduated in journalism from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul.

Mr. Aires was elected to the board of directors in March, 2008. He has been president of the board of directors of Petroquímica Triunfo since May 2005 and member of the boards of directors of Ipiranga Petroquímica and FCC. Previously, Mr. Aires served in several executive positions in Petroquisa and Petrobras beginning in 1980. He is currently the partnership coordinator of Petroquisa. Mr. Aires holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.

Mr. Pais was elected to our board of directors on May, 2008 as a nominee of Petrobras Quimica S/A - Petroquisa. From 1981 to 1986 he worked in the Geotechnical area at Light, and in 1987 he joined Petrobras, since then serving in a variety of capacities. He currently sits on the board of directors of Procurement Negócios Eletrônicos and since 2006 has served as chairman of the board of directors of Copenor S/A, both associated companies of Petrobras. From 1998 to 2002 he served as member of the fiscal council of the Ricardo Franco Foundation at the Military Engineering Institute - IME. Mr. Pais holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the IME and an MBA in economic and corporate law from the Fundação Getúlio Vargas - FGV.

Mr. Sa has been a member of the board of directors as a nominee of the Mariani Group since 2001. He has been a member of the board of directors of Norquisa since April 2001 and served as president of the board of directors of Norquisa from April 2001 through April 2003. He is also president of Pronor. Mr. Sá served as engineering and production manager of Dow Química S.A. from 1973 through 1984. He holds a bachelor degree in chemical engineering from the Universidade Federal da Bahia.

Mr. Mascarenhas has been a member of the board of directors as a nominee of Odebrecht since 2001. He has been an executive officer of Odebrecht since September 2001 and serves in various capacities with other companies in the Odebrecht Group. He also has served as vice president of CNI (Confederação Nacional das Indústrias) since October 1985 and of the Brazilian Association of Chemical Industry and Derivative Products since May 1993. Mr. Mascarenhas holds a bachelor degree in civil engineering from Universidade Federal da Bahia.

Mr. Souza has been a member of the board of directors as a nominee of Odebrecht since 2001. He has been the general counsel and an executive officer of Odebrecht since May 1997, and the vice president of the board of directors and an executive officer of Norquisa since April 2003. He also serves in several executive positions in subsidiaries and affiliates of Odebrecht. Mr. Souza served as the president of the board of directors of Companhia de Concessões Rodoviárias - CCR. He was also a visiting lawyer at the law firm Dechert, Price & Rhoads (Philadelphia), a senior lawyer at the law firm Pinheiro Neto Advogados from 1976 through 1982 and a senior counsel of Latin America and Caribbean Division of the World Bank (Washington D.C.) from 1982 through 1987. Mr. Souza holds a law degree from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro and an LL.M. from the University of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Cesena was elected alternate member of the board of directors as a nominee of Odebrecht in July, 2008. Mr. Paulo holds the position of financial director of Construtora Norberto Odebrecht S.A., since 2007, having been served in many other areas in the group, as engineering, construction and petrochemical, since. Mr. Cesena holds a bachelor degree in chemical engineering from USP, and an MBA from INSEAD (France and Singapore).
