Bright House Networks provides cable television entertainment and High Speed Internet access to more than 800,000 customers in a nine-county area of Central Florida. During 2001, the company completed a $350 million upgrade of its 16,000-mile cable network to a state-of-the-art fiber network with related customer equipment. The fiber network provides the industry's highest level of reliability, enhanced picture and sound quality, greater channel capacity and the fastest Internet access service available. The fiber network also serves as the platform for services such as iCONTROL Video on Demand, Premium on Demand, High Definition, Digital Phone, Digital Video Recorders and multiple national and regional High Speed Internet services.
