Arturo Osorio is President of Brightstar Asia Pacific, the largest service organization for Brightstar worldwide. In this capacity, Arturo is responsible for setting the strategic direction and providing day to day management of people, services and customers. Arturo was responsible for setting up Brightstara s Asia presence commencing in 2004. The Asia Pacific region today has subsidiaries in Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong, and holds supply chain contracts with Telstra, Maxis, CSL, Telecom, among others. With a total of over 600 employees, revenues of $1.1B, Asia Pacific is one of the fastest growing regions for Brightstar. Arturo has over twenty years of experience in the IT and telecommunications industries, and extensive international experience through previously held positions in Europe, the United States and Latin America. Before joining Brightstar, Arturo was COO for CHS Electronics Latin America division, an IT distribution company with revenues of $10B globally. Arturo is currently completing an Executive MBA between Melbourne University in Australia and Kellogg Business School of Management in Chicago, USA.

Jeff Gower is the Global President of Integrated Supply Chain Solutions for Brightstar. In this capacity, he is responsible for Brightstara s existing supply chain customer projects, as well as new business development. He also manages all supply chain solutions, tools, services and training procedures for Brightstara s worldwide supply chain customers. Jeff has held a number of positions within Brightstar, and was previously the President of Brightstar Asia Pacific managing numerous regions including Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore. Jeff also previously served as the Managing Director of Telstraa s supply chain outsourcing contract a " a $1.2B USD gross revenue business.A Prior to this Jeff was Executive Vice President of Supply Chain Solutions for Brightstar Corp. in Miami. In this role he was responsible for sales and implementation of supply chain services. During his tenure, Jeff grew this business from initial service operations in two international regions to what is now a global leader in telecommunications and consumer electronic supply chain solutions, serving operators on 4 continents. Before joining Brightstar, Jeff worked with the Siemens Information and Communications group as an executive of Xelibri a " a wireless handset manufacturer which launched one of the worlda s first portfolios of fashion mobile devices.A At Siemens Mobile, Jeff was the Vice President of supply chain, both globally at the headquarters in Munich and also the U.S. headquarters in San Diego.A Prior to this Jeff worked as a management consultant for Braun Consulting Inc. in the retail, telecommunications and pharmaceutical industries. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from Union College in New York and an MBA from the Sloan School of Business at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).A He is a guest lecturer at MITa s Sloan School of Business in Boston and Macquarie School of Management in Sydney, Australia on supply chain management and product life-cycle Management.

Andrew Weinberg is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Brightstar Corp. In this capacity, Andrew serves as a key member of the executive team, in which he is responsible for executing all key corporate initiatives, and for leading Brightstara s global Human Resources and Information Technology departments. He also currently serves on Brightstara s board of directors. Andrew has been involved with Brightstar since 2007 as a principal at Lindsay Goldberg, which he joined in 2003. Andrew was also previously an Associate at Goldman Sachs in the Principal Investment Area. Additionally, he worked at Morgan Stanley in the mergers and acquisitions department in New York and in the leveraged finance group in London. Andrew holds an MBA from Stanford University and an AB in Economics and History from Dartmouth College. Beyond his role as COO of Brightstar, Andrew is a director at Brock Group, PL Olefins, PL Propylene, Recon Holdings, and Scandza.

Dennis J. Strand is the Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, as well as a member of the Board of Directors for Brightstar Corp. He is directly responsible for developing the financial team and managing process and controls necessary to deliver a best-in-class cost structure that ensures sustainable, profitable growth worldwide. Dennis brings more than 20 years of experience as a proven leader in corporate finance in his tenure at Motorola. While at Motorola, Dennis earned a reputation not only for business acumen but also for his reliability as a trusted counselor and advisor to the senior executive team. In his most recent role, Dennis served as Senior Vice President of Finance for Motorolaa s $28 billion Mobile Device Business. He was instrumental in restructuring the global information systems, processes and controls, which helped contribute to rapid revenue growth, triple-digit productivity gains, and a return to leadership in markets around the world. Prior to this role, Dennis lived in Europe and was vice president of finance in the Mobile Device EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) organization and before that, Vice President of Finance for the Americas. Dennis also has served in a number of finance, treasury, joint ventures and customer financing roles. He has an MBA in international finance from DePaul University and a BS in business administration from the University of Wisconsin.

Maggie Martinez joined Brightstar Corp. as Chief of Staff reporting directly to the president, CEO and chairman.A In 2008, she was promoted to Chief Human Resources Officer and Senior Vice President of Global Human Resources. In her current role, Maggie oversees all human resources initiatives for Brightstar worldwide, while serving as a key business partner to the senior management team and all business units within the Brightstar organization. With over 14 years of cross-discipline experience in several business functions, Maggie has a varied background and consistent record of high-profile achievements, managing multi-million dollar projects including large-scale programs for human resource management, information technology, project management, process development & reengineering, audit & compliance, asset management, procurement, customer & vendor management, and sales & marketing. Prior to joining Brightstar, Maggie worked as a Consultant and Vice President of Operations for several organizations across diverse industries. As an entrepreneur who quickly built her own successful consulting business, Maggie also helped other business owners set priorities in operational efficiencies and process improvements which yielded higher profitability and improved growth. Her clients have ranged from suppliers to distributors generating over $2 million in annual sales to smaller business ventures across the real estate, beverage and health food industries. As General Manager and Vice President of Operations, Maggie led all aspects of business operations, including financial management, project management, process reengineering, information technology, communications, and sales & marketing. Previous to her diverse role in the consulting industry, Maggie worked for Ryder System, Inc., a leader in transportation and logistics solutions worldwide.A In her 7 year tenure at Ryder, she managed several functions including human resources development, compensation & benefits, training & development, information technology, project management, process improvement, asset management, procurement, application development, audit & compliance, warehouse operations & logistics, and internal communications. Rafael de Guzman is Chief of Staff at Brightstar Corp and works closely with the CEO and other key executives defining and implementing the overall strategy for the organization. In addition, Rafael serves as the key point of contact for the CEO and as such is tasked with driving CEO-sponsored cross-functional and cross-regional initiatives. Prior to joining the Office of the CEO, Rafael was part of Brightstara s High Growth Markets business development team working collaboratively to evaluate, define, and implement new subsidiaries and initiatives for Brightstar in developing countries around the world. Before coming to Brightstar, Rafael spent almost ten years working at brand and communications firms. In New York, he was the Business Development Manager for Desgrippes Gobe, a global branding firm that provides a range of branding services to leading companies like Coca Cola, Victoria Secreta s, America Online, Travelocity, and many others. Also in New York, Rafael served as an Associate Program Director at Enterprise IG where he worked on strategic branding projects for companies like Ford, Westvaco, Holcim, Metavante, and others. Rafael holds a JD from the University of Miami and an AB in History from Princeton University.

Diego Lopez is the Vice President of Product Operations for Brightstar Latin America. In this role, Diego is responsible for all back office functions which include, procurement, inventory management, demand planning, after sales support, customer type approval processes, as well as managing the distribution and service agreements with our vendors for the entire Brightstar product portfolio. In his previous role at Brightstar, Diego was the Vice president of product Management for Brightstara s largest product vendor, Motorola, where he has been instrumental throughout the years in the successful management and growth of relationship worldwide. Diego has also had significant experience at the subsidiary level, serving as the general manager for Brightstar Mexico for a number of years. He has worked for Brightstar for 8 years in a number of increasingly responsible roles and brings significant experience to the organization.

Alfred J. Goldberg serves as the Vice-President of the Board of Managers at the Mary Wade Home. He received a BA from The Johns Hopkins University in Psychology, and an MBA from the University of Chicago in finance and the management of non-profit institutions. He is currently the First Selectman of the Town of Madison. Prior, he was the Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of The Connecticut Hospital Association for more than 30 years. In the community, Goldberg served as a Board Officer of the Madison VNA for 15 years, and has been a Board Officer of the Madison Lakes Association for more than 20 years. He currently serves as the President of Temple Beth Tikvah.

Michele Merrell is the Senior Director of Global Marketing and Communications for Brightstar Corp., a global leader in customized distribution and supply chain solutions for the wireless industry. Michele brings more than twelve years of wireless industry experience to Brightstar and is responsible for global marketing, public relations, branding, corporate communications and corporate identity. She has managed the marketing function within diverse industries including high technology, telecommunications, consumer goods and electronics. Prior to joining Brightstar, Michele held a senior-level marketing positions within the wireless industry as a Vice President of External Communications at U.S. Cellular, and also held senior-level positions at BellSouth Cellular, Tyco International and Voiceglo, a VoIP telecommunications company. Michele has won many national awards both personally and also for marketing and communications campaigns she has created for various corporations. While in Chicago, she was named by Craina s Chicago Business as a a Top 40 Under 40 Corporate Leader,a ? and was also featured in Todaya s Chicago Woman magazine for her business contributions in the Chicagoland area. She was the recipient of a National Leadership award and named Honorary Chair in 2006, and was recently named as Business Woman of the Year in 2007 by the Business Advisory Council. She is a member of the American Marketing Association, Public Relations Society of America, Executive Women in Wireless, as well as numerous other organizations. Michele is finalizing her MBA degree in international business at Everest University and also has a Bachelors of Arts degree in marketing communications from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

Mr.A Lindsay Co-Founded Lindsay Goldberg in 2001. A In 1991, he joined Bessemer Holdings and, over the past decade, played a central role in building the firma s highly successful global private equity business, most recently serving as its Managing General Partner. Prior to Bessemer Holdings, Mr. Lindsay was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley Private Equity, where he played an integral role in founding the business in 1984. A Mr. Lindsay received his B.A. in English and American Literature and Language from Harvard College and earned his M.B.A. from Stanford University, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar. Jaime Narea is Vice President of Brightstar Corp.a s Idea to Consumer (ITC) Division, which is dedicated to designing developing, manufacturing and selling mobile devices under third party brands. Jaime is also responsible for Brightstara s fixed wireless group, which creates telecommunications products for areas without access to landlines in high growth markets including Africa, India, and parts of Latin America. Spanning over 20 years in the telecommunications industry, Jaimea s career includes experience in engineering, marketing, sales, and general management. Prior to joining Brightstar, Jaime held various positions within Motorola Personal Communications Services and was a pioneer in the introduction of Motorola cellular subscriber business in Latin America. He served in Motorola as General Manager for the Latin America North Region, Director for OEM Business, Sales and Marketing Director, and held several engineering management positions. Jaime holds an MBA from Northwestern Universitya s Kellogg School of Management in Evanston, IL. He also holds a master of science in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois, and a bachelor of science in electrical engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Jaime also holds three U.S. patents for telecommunications products.

Jeff Mandell is a market-driven general manager with extensive convergence technology experience (Wireless, Internet Services, Computing/CE, and Digital Imaging) within Fortune 500 companies, start-ups, and turnaround environments. He has won more than 40 awards for product innovation, marketing excellence and business leadership. Jeff serves dual roles at Brightstar Corp. As Vice President/General Manager, Applications and Solutions, he oversees a business unit responsible for establishing and managing co-development and distribution relationships with hardware, software and service providers, and tightly integrating their offerings into end-to-end solutions for operators, manufacturers and retailers around the world. As Vice President, New Business Development, he is responsible for identifying, assessing and incubating new business opportunities, overseeing the companya s venture capital portfolio, and acting as the corporate lead on strategic opportunities. Prior to this, he served as VP/GM, One Laptop Per Child (OLPC), where he established and managed global operations and sales-related activities associated with this important cause to bring revolutionary, low-cost, and child-friendly laptops to developing nations. In the first year, nearly one million laptops were shipped to over 25 countries. Prior to joining Brightstar, Jeff held a number of senior management positions in the technology industry including President/General Manager of the #1 Internet photo-sharing Application Service Provider (operating in 22 countries), and Vice President of Marketing (Americas) for Ericsson Mobile Phones overseeing a $2 billion business. Prior to Ericsson, he incubated and led a $200 million business unit for Epson in the multi-media projector and digital camera space. Earlier in his career, Jeff held senior roles in corporate strategy consulting and consumer-package goods brand management on top brands now part of P&G (TampaxA tampons) and Unilever (Faberge BrutA ). Jeff graduated with a bachelor of science in marketing from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts, and currently serves on three boards.

Mr. Hirt has been with Lindsay Goldberg since 2003. A Previously, Mr. Hirt was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley where he spent 9 years in the mergers and acquisitions department advising a broad range of general industrial clients. A Mr. Hirt began his career as a management consultant at Touche Ross & Co. and subsequently practiced law at Sullivan & Cromwell in New York. A Mr. Hirt received his M.B.A. and J.D. degrees from Harvard University and graduated from Yeshiva College with a B.A. in Economics. A He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Brock Group, and is a Director of Brightstar Corporation, EnergySolutions, LLC, PL Olefins LLC, PL Propylene LLC, RECON Holdings I LLC and Scandza AS. A He also serves as a Trustee of Yeshiva University in New York City.

Mr. Shinichiro Konishi is the General Manager, Mobile Division at Mitsui & Co, Ltd. He joined Mitsui in 1980, and has held numerous positions in Mitsuia s various divisions. Prior to his current role, he was the Deputy General Manager in the Investment Administration Division. He also held General Manager positions in the Information, Electronics & Telecommunications Business Unit and the Machinery, Electronics & Information, Administrative Unit, and the Land, Transportation & Communications Department. He joined the Brightstar Board of Directors in 2008.

Steven I. Bandel is President and Chief Operating Officer of the Cisneros Group of Companies, one of the largest privately held media, entertainment, telecommunications and consumer products organizations in the world. As President and Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Bandel oversees the strategic development and day-to-day operations of the Cisneros Group, ranging from broadcast television, television production, and telecommunications to beverage businesses and travel resorts.A Through its diverse businesses and partnerships, Cisneros delivers some of the most recognized brands and highest quality services to the 550 million Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking consumers in the Americas and Europe. Steven is member of the Board of the Mayora s International Council of the City of Miami and a member of the International Board of Baptist Health of South Florida. Before assuming the titles of both President and Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Bandel served as Chief Operating Officer from 1992 to 2000.A During this time, he oversaw the operations of Cisneros Group of Companies worldwide. During his twenty-five year tenure with the Cisneros Group of Companies, Mr. Bandel has played an integral role in the organizationa s growth and development.A He has served as Chief Financial Officer; President of Multimarket, the GroupA's former Investment Bank; Vice President of Finance for the Communications Division; Director Assistant to the Chairman and CEO; Vice President of Finance for the Information Technology Division; and as New Business Development Manager.
