Stephen Flanagan, aged 47, is currently the Commercial Director of BUPA's UK health insurance business. Stephen is also the Managing Director of BUPA's risk business, Bupa Health Assurance, and Managing Director of BUPA Wellness, their health screening and occupational health business. Stephen has been with BUPA for a period of ten years. Prior to this he was with British Airways Plc for 17 years where he held a number of senior positions.

Consultant Clinical Psychologist. As the founder of Pilgrim Psychology, Dr Hazel Pilgrim is a highly qualified senior Consultant Clinical Psychologist, and works with adult clients. She specialises in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), a very effective therapy that can assist with a wide range of emotional difficulties, Anxiety, Depression, and Stress Disorders (including post traumatic stress disorder). Dr Pilgrim holds the highest possible qualification in the psychology field, a PhD, during which she developed a successful model for the treatment of PTSD. Her model is still used today to inform therapy practice on PTSD, and was published in the book 'Reconstructing Early Intervention After Trauma, Innovations in the Care of Survivors'. Dr Pilgrim's interest in stress disorders can be further seen in the ground-breaking PTSD Research Trial she conducted alongside Professor Nick Tarrier at Manchester University. She is a member of the UK Trauma Group. During her many years as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, Dr Pilgrim has worked closely with the Fire Services, the Ministry of Defence and NHS. She is a Chartered member and Associated Fellow of The British Psychology Society, the professional body for psychology and psychologists in the UK. This means she subscribes to a high standard of ethics and keeps on top of emerging research on therapies and conditions. Dr Pilgrim is also a registered as a therapist with Bupa. Dr Pilgrim is registered as an Expert Witness and is highly experienced in providing Medico-legal assessments, professional reports and Court evidence. Dr Pilgrim has been widely published in a variety of professional journals and has presented at many conferences internationally.

Jacqui Granby has over 20 years PA, administration and secretarial experience. She joined ITOPF in July 2007 after working for BUPA for eight years as Business Administrator and PA. She is responsible for the coordination and travel movements of members of the technical department as well as the maintenance of ITOPF's case-related filing system.

Toni gained her medical secretary's diploma in 1980 and since then has worked in the private sector for both BUPA and Nuffield hospitals. She has experience in a wide variety of medical and surgical disciplines including reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery. In addition to her role as company secretary, Toni supports our PA, Karen Willmott, in the daily management of the Exeter Medical practice.

Lord Leitch joined the Lloyds TSB board in 2005. He held a number of senior general management appointments in Allied Dunbar, Eagle Star and Threadneedle Asset Management before the merger of Zurich Group and British American Tobacco’s financial services businesses in 1998. Subsequently, he served as chairman and chief executive officer of Zurich Financial Services UK, Ireland, South Africa and Asia Pacific, until his retirement in 2004. He was also Chairman of the government’s Review of Skills and deputy chairman of the Commonwealth Education Fund and Chairman of BUPA and Intrinsic Financial Services Non-executive director of Paternoster and United Business Media. He also served as a Former chairman of the National Employment Panel.
