Kathleen Earley has over 25 years of experience in the Computer and Communications industries. Prior to her retirement from AT&T in June 2002, Kathleen Earley was Senior Vice President of Enterprise Networking and Chief Marketing Officer where she was responsible for all AT&T Business-related brand, image, advertising and marketing strategy. Ms. Earley was also AT&T's primary spokesperson on the influence of technology, virtual private networking (VPN), web hosting, content delivery and broadband. Ms. Earley is best known in the industry as AT&T Senior Vice President and President of AT&T Data and Internet Services. She was responsible for AT&T's $8B business unit that provided IP (Internet Protocol), web hosting, data and managed network services to businesses worldwide. Under her leadership, AT&T became a market leader in IP, virtual private networks, frame relay, and asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) by providing businesses with a full spectrum of networking services such as dedicated and dial IP, cable and digital subscriber line (DSL), virtual private networking and value-added services. Ms. Earley also created, built and managed AT&T's significant investment in web hosting. Prior to this position, she was the President of AT&T Internet Services where she led the development of AT&T's business IP strategy and product line launch, transforming AT&T into an IP powerhouse within two years. Ms. Earley joined AT&T after 17 years with IBM, where she had a distinguished career in sales, marketing, business planning and strategy development. She led the effort to form Digital Domain, where she served as a Director. Digital Domain is a digital production studio known for its work in the popular movies Titanic, True Lies, Interview with a Vampire, Apollo 13. Ms. Earley is currently a member of the Board of Directors of Computer Network Technology (CMNT), Vignette (VIGN), as well as two private companies: Switch and Data and Telespree. Prior to this she served as Director at Standard Microsystems Corporation (SMSC), Blue Sky Productions, Mamamedia, as well as the Hewlett Packard Global Advisory Board. A visionary in the industry, Ms. Earley has been called one of the most powerful people in enterprise networking by Network World, and Telephony named her one of the "Ten to Watch" in the telecommunications industry. The Newark Star Ledger, New Jersey 's largest daily newspaper, named Ms. Earley as one of the ten most powerful women in New Jersey. In October 2000, Information Week featured her as one of the top Women in Technology. A graduate of the University of California , Berkeley , Ms. Earley has a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and a Masters of Business Administration degree in finance. She lives with her husband, daughter and son in Bernardsville, New Jersey.
Jan H. Lindelow, chairman, Vignette Corporation
A member of the Vignette Board of Directors since October 2002, Lindelow assumed the role of chairman in August 2005. Lindelow has extensive experience managing global multi-billion dollar businesses as well as smaller, entrepreneurial companies. Lindelow joined Tivoli, a unit of the IBM Software Group in June 1997 and served as chairman and CEO of Tivoli until Spring of 2001. He then became vice president, Emerging Business Development for IBM until his retirement in 2002.
Prior to Tivoli, he was president and COO of Symbol Technologies. He also served in several senior executive positions with Asea Brown Boveri (ABB). At Unisys/Sperry Computer Systems, Lindelow was president of Worldwide Sales and Services, and spearheaded the company's entry into UNIX and other open markets. He joined Sperry in his native Sweden where he subsequently became president of Sperry's Nordic Group. Glenn Solomon is a Managing Director in GGV's Silicon Valley Office. He brings with him over 12 years of venture capital experience, and focuses on investments in software and e-commerce. Prior to joining GGV, Glenn led Partech International's software and internet group, and was responsible for leading successful investments in the storage, security and e-commerce sectors. Glenn's past investments include: Broadbase Software (acquired by Kana), Digital Island (acquired by Cable & Wireless), Pentasafe (acquired by NetIQ), Vignette (NASDAQ:VIGN) and Datacenter Technologies (acquired by Veritas/Symantec). Since joining GGV Glenn has invested in Isilon, Successfactors and Quinstreet. Glenn previously worked with Goldman Sachs and SPO Partners. Glenn received his MBA from Stanford's Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar. Glenn also earned his undergraduate degree from Stanford, where he started on three NCAA tennis championship squads. As chairman, president, and chief executive officer of Attachmate, Jeff Hawn is responsible for identifying the company's corporate direction and business strategies. Jeff's management tenure includes multiple senior-level positions relative to the mainframe software market. Before joining Attachmate, Jeff was an operating partner with JMI Inc. and led the firm's private equity acquisition and operating activities. Prior to his work at JMI, Jeff was senior vice president at BMC Software, where he held several key management positions. Mike Aviles is president and chief executive officer at Vignette Corporation. Aviles was appointed as CEO in February, 2006. As president and CEO, Aviles is responsible for all global operations, including sales, marketing, professional services, product and business development.
Prior to joining Vignette, Aviles was chairman, president and chief executive officer of Activant Solutions, Inc., a market-leading provider of software and information services to the automotive aftermarket, hardware and lumber industries. At Activant, Aviles drove the company to five consecutive years of strong earnings growth and successfully completed a public offering of high-yield debt to institutional investors. Prior to Activant, Aviles served as president and CEO of Foster Grant Group, a leading marketer and distributor of popular priced consumer eyewear. He also held senior executive roles at FOOTACTION USA, an athletic specialty retailer, serving as a key member of the management team that aggressively grew the company to a half billion dollars in revenue. Aviles began his career as a Certified Public Accountant with KPMG Peat Marwick.
Aviles received his MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and has a BBA from Pace University. He also serves as an officer for the Austin chapter of Young Presidents' Organization.
Conleth O'Connell, Ph. D is chief technology officer at Vignette Corporation. Dr. O'Connell is responsible for driving new technology and innovation within the company. Dr. O'Connell joined Vignette in 1996 as one of the company's first engineers and helped develop Vignette's initial product offering. Prior to becoming CTO, Dr. O'Connell held multiple engineering and architect roles and influenced the company's support for open standards by participating in various standards committees including W3C (World Wide Web Consortium), OASIS, and WS-I (Web Services Interoperability). Dr. O'Connell joined Vignette from HaL Computer Systems where he led product development efforts and participated in the Davenport Group, a consortium that created an SGML distribution format for online documents called the DocBook DTD. Prior to that, Dr. O'Connell spent time as a director of an Industrial Consortium, where he supervised graduate students who produced an integrated software architecture and later co-authored a book on the architectural design of the project. Dr. O'Connell was recently honored as a Distinguished Alumni by Ohio State University where he holds a master's degree and Ph. D in computer information systems. Dr. O'Connell holds a patent for innovation in content management and delivery, with several more pending.

Pat Kelly joined Vignette as chief financial officer in July 2006. Prior to joining Vignette, Kelly was director of Global Facility Planning at Dell. Among his various responsibilities, Kelly managed Dell's facility operations in India which had more than 11,000 employees.
From 1998 to 2004 Kelly served as CFO of Trilogy Software, a leading provider of industry-specific enterprise software. During his tenure, Kelly introduced systems and processes to enable Trilogy to evolve from its technology startup beginnings to a more mature and financially disciplined organization. Kelly joined Trilogy after 14 years with AMR, the parent company to both American Airlines and The Sabre Group.
From 1995 to 1998 Pat was CFO of The Sabre Group and played a key role in Sabre's initial public offering in 1996. Prior to his position at Sabre, Kelly served as vice president of Financial Planning and Analysis at American Airlines where he was responsible for Capital Planning and Financial Planning for one of the world's largest airlines.
Kelly holds a master's degree in Industrial Administration from Carnegie-Mellon University and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Virginia's engineering school.

Dave Dutch joined Vignette in April 2008 as senior vice president of Products and Marketing. Dutch is responsible for product management and product marketing, and for all aspects of Vignette's global marketing and communications.
Prior to joining Vignette, Dutch coordinated strategy and integration of sales, marketing communications and product management for the $1 billion Telecommunications Enterprise Division of Level 3 Communications. From 1990 to 1998, Mr. Grant served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and as a member of the board of directors of Electronic Data Systems (EDS). From 1975 to 1989, Mr. Grant served in various positions at Texas American Bancshares, Inc., including Chairman and CEO from 1986 to 1989. His book, The Great Texas Banking Crash An Insider's Account, documents the struggles during his time as Chairman and CEO at Texas American and the demise of banks in Texas in the late 80's. Prior to his time at Texas American, Mr. Grant served as Senior Vice President and Economist at Houston's Texas Commerce Bank where he formulated and implemented the expansion strategy that formed Texas Commerce Bancshares and led to the company's 35 subsequent acquisitions. He launched his banking career in 1961 at Citibank in New York City. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University, where he was an All-American swimmer, and received a Ph.D. in Finance and Economics from The University of Texas. He serves on the boards of KERA, MD Anderson Cancer Center, and Vignette Corporation. Currently, Mr. Grant is spearheading the drive to create the urban Woodall Rodgers Park in Dallas and serves as chairman of the Communities Foundation of Texas. In 2001, American Banker named him "Community Banker of the Year," a category that includes all banks in the U.S. of less than $10 billion in assets.
