Dr. Pehong Chen is a renowned expert and leader in the field of new media and enterprise business portal technologies. Prior to founding BroadVision in 1993, he was vice president of multimedia technology at Sybase, responsible for the company's interactive initiatives. Earlier, he founded and was president of Gain Technology, a leading supplier of multimedia software tools, where he pioneered multimedia as an enabling technology for a new generation of business applications. Gain was acquired by Sybase in 1992. Having personally started and run two successful software startups, Dr. Chen uses his experience and resources to help others do the same. In 1993, he provided startup capital for Siebel Systems, now a worldwide leader in front office automation software, and served on its board of directors until 1996.

Shin-Yuan Tzou joined the company in 1995, won BroadVision's "Most Valuable Player" award in 1997 and has contributed to the design and development of every version of BroadVision's self-service suite. From 1994-1995, he built supercomputers at Silicon Graphics, focusing on scalable I/O, high speed networking and UNIX kernel. From 1990-1994, he built mainframe storage systems at IBM, focusing on multiprocessors, fault tolerance and recovery, file systems, and distributed systems. In 1990, he earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of California, Berkeley. Before returning to school, he built applications for managing health physics information across multiple nuclear power plants, banking system support for electronic fund transfer and localization at Wang Computers. He holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University.

David Boyer has over 15 years of experience in the high-tech sector. He joined BroadVision in 2000, and has grown to his current role of SVP Engineering and Technical Support. Prior to joining BroadVision, Boyer was a Director of Research and Development at Informix, managing a worldwide team of database server product development engineers for the Informix Dynamic Server and Universal Server products. Prior to that, he co-founded SIMData Technologies Corporation, a developer of high performance analog-level circuit simulation software. Boyer also held a management position at Data Parallel Systems, where he oversaw the initial development, deployment and support of a V1.0 release of a massively parallel relational database and data mining software. He holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Chemistry from Allegheny College.

Dr. Robert P. Lee, a 30-year veteran of the computer industry, is chairman and CEO of Achievo Corporation. Dr. Lee co-founded the company in 2002 while he served as president and CEO of Accela, Inc., one of the leading government automation software companies in the U.S. He relinquished his roles with Accela in 2007, but continues as a board director. Dr. Lee was president and CEO of Inxight Software, Inc. before joining Achievo. Prior to Inxight Software, he was chairman, president and CEO of Insignia Solutions plc, a software company he took public in 1995. Dr. Lee also served as executive vice president at Symantec Corporation where he led the acquisition and integration of many companies, including Norton Computing. He was senior vice president at Shared Medical Systems Corporation (now merged with Siemens), and earlier in his career held various technical and business management positions at IBM and Computer Sciences Corporation. Dr. Lee is a member of the board of directors and advisor to several companies. In addition to being a director for Achievo and Accela, he is a director for Osel, Inc., a bio-pharmaceutical company. Dr. Lee was formerly chairman and president of Silicon Valley's Asia America MultiTechnology Association (AAMA) for multiple terms. Dr. Lee received a bachelora s degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and masters and doctorate degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles, all in computer science.
