Brocade Communications Systems Inc.

John Gerdelman was named Chairman of the Board of Directors of Intelliden in April 2000. John is a technology and telecommunications industry veteran, bringing with him 30 years of experience. As Chairman, he drives customer relationships, provides strategic business insights and identifies emerging product opportunities. Previously John served as the President of MCI's award-winning network and information technology division. He also served in the U.S. Navy as a Naval Aviator after graduating with a BS degree in chemistry from the College of William and Mary.

L. William Krause , 64, has served as a Director of Core-Mark since August 2005. Mr. Krause presently serves as President of LWK Ventures, a private investment firm, a position he has held since 1991. Mr. Krause has been Chairman of the Board of Caspian Networks, Inc., a high performance networking systems provider, since April 2002 and was CEO from April 2002 until June 2004. From September 2001 to February 2002, Mr. Krause was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Exodus Communications, Inc., which he guided through Chapter 11 Bankruptcy to a sale of assets. He also served as President and Chief Executive Officer of 3Com Corporation, a global data networking company, from 1981 to 1990, and as its Chairman from 1987 to 1993 when he retired. Presently, Mr. Krause serves on the board of directors of Brocade Communications Systems, Inc., Packeteer, Inc., Sybase, Inc., and TriZetto Group. Mr. Krause received a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from The Citadel.

Chris is a founding partner of Lightspeed Venture Partners, focusing primarily on communications and storage investments. Selected investments include Brocade, Ciena, iPhotonics, LightLogic, and Premisys. He has 11 years of venture capital experience and four years of operating experience. Prior to joining Weiss, Peck & Greer Venture Partners in 1991, Chris worked at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in corporate finance and capital markets roles. Chris began his career as a software engineer at IBM. He holds BS and MS degrees in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from MIT and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Michael Klayko has served as our Chief Executive Officer and as a director since January 2005. Prior to that, he served as Vice President, Worldwide Sales from May 2004 until January 2005. From April 2003 until May 2004, Mr. Klayko served as Vice President, Worldwide Marketing and Support, and from January 2003 until April 2003, he was Vice President, OEM Sales. From May 2001 to January 2003, Mr. Klayko was Chief Executive Officer and President of Rhapsody Networks, a privately held technology company acquired by Brocade. From December 1998 to April 2001, Mr. Klayko served as Executive Vice President of McDATA Corporation. From March 1995 to November 1998, Mr. Klayko was Senior Vice President for North American Sales at EMC Corporation, a provider of information storage systems products. Mr. Klayko also held various executive sales and marketing positions at Hewlett-Packard Company and IBM Corporation. Mr. Klayko received a B.S. degree in electronic engineering from Ohio Institute of Technology, in Columbus, Ohio.

As Chief Financial Officer, Richard Deranleau has responsibility for the company's financial processes and reporting. Deranleau joined Brocade in June 2003, and served as Vice President, Corporate Controller, and Treasurer of Brocade before being named CFO in May 2006. Before joining Brocade, Deranleau served in various executive management positions from 1992 to 2003 for Polycom, Inc., including Vice President of Finance and Treasurer. Prior to Polycom, he held various accounting and finance positions at Tandem Computers and Coopers and Lybrand, LLC. Deranleau is a CPA for the State of California and holds a BS in Economics from Iowa State University and an MBA from San Jose State University.

As Vice President of Corporate Development, T.J. Grewal is responsible for developing and managing strategic Brocade corporate initiatives, including M&A, alliances, key business initiatives, and the Brocade investment portfolio. Before joining Brocade, Grewal worked with McKinsey & Company advising software, semiconductor, and consumer hardware clients as part of the company's High Technology Practice. Prior to joining McKinsey, Grewal was a senior manager in Ernst & Young's technology practice. Grewal holds an MBA from McMaster University and a BA from York University, both in Canada.

As Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales, Ian Whiting is responsible for all product and services revenue through both direct and indirect sales channels. Whiting’s role is to drive market share gains in all the markets where Brocade competes, build a world-class global sales organization, and develop strategic long-term relationships with customers and partners. Whiting joined Brocade in 2001, and has served as Vice President of EMEA and Latin America, as well as Vice President Worldwide Sales and Services in addition to Vice President and General Manager for the Brocade Data Center Infrastructure Division. Prior to joining Brocade, Whiting was Director of Compaq StorageWorks in EMEA. Before that he served as Vice President EMEA for NetWorth, and he also held senior management roles at Canadian software company Cognos and specialist networking distributor Data Translation. Whiting has a BS in French and German from the University College Swansea and an MS in European Business Studies from the Cranfield School of Management.
