George E. Myhal (1956) has served as a director of Imagine since its inception in 2000. Mr. Myhal is Managing Partner and Chief Operating Officer of Imagine's parent company, Brookfield Asset Management (NYSE: BAM) and has primary responsibility for strategic planning and business development. Mr. Myhal has held a number of senior positions within Brookfield since joining the company in 1981 and has been instrumental in the development and growth of Brookfield's asset management business. Jillian is Vice President of Brookfield Asset Management Inc.. She joined Brookfield's Calgary office in June 2005, prior to which she was Vice President with Darby Asia, fund manager of a mezzanine capital fund focusing on infrastructure investments in Asia. Between 1996 and his current appointment in 2002, Mr. Robertson served in a number of capacities with Brookfield's affiliates, including as the Chief Financial Officer of a predecessor to Brookfield, in corporate development within Brookfield Power, merchant banking origination and management, and as Vice President of Investment Banking at Trilon Securities Corporation. Prior to joining Brookfield, Mr. Robertson spent over seven years at Deloitte & Touche LLP in Toronto, including five years in its insolvency and restructuring practice. Bruce is a Chartered Accountant and earned a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) at Queen's University, Canada.
Derek G. Pannell was appointed a director of Teck Cominco Limited in October 2006. He is a graduate of Imperial College in London, England (BSc. Eng.) and the Royal School of Mines, London, England (ARSM). Maureen Kempston Darkes was appointed GM group vice president and president, GM Latin America, Africa and Middle East (LAAM) and a member of the General Motors Automotive Strategy Board, effective January 1, 2002. Prior to this appointment, she was president and general manager of General Motors of Canada Limited (GMCL) and vice president of General Motors Corporation, from 1994 to 2001.
After joining the General Motors of Canada Limited Legal Staff in 1975, she became assistant counsel in 1979. She served on the General Motors Corporation Legal Staff in Detroit in 1979-1980 and headed the GM of Canada Tax Staff from 1980 to 1984. From 1985 to 1987, she worked in the GM Treasurer's Office in New York and subsequently held the position of acting treasurer for GM of Canada until her appointment as general director, public affairs, for GMCL in April 1987. She was appointed GMCL vice president of corporate affairs in 1991 and elected to the GMCL Board of Directors. In addition to her corporate affairs responsibilities, she was appointed general counsel and secretary of GMCL in July 1992.
Kempston Darkes serves on the boards of CN Rail and Brookfield Asset Management. During her tenure as president of GM of Canada, she was a board member of the Vehicle Manufacturers' Association; the Ontario Government Education, Quality and Accountability Board; and the Ontario Minister of Health's Women's Health Council. Kempston Darkes was appointed by the federal government to the Free Trade Agreement Automotive Select Panel in 1989 and, in 1994, to the Transportation Equipment Sectoral Advisory Group on International Trade.
She also serves on the University of Toronto President's International Alumni Council. She has served as the former chair for major gifts for Women's College Hospital Fund Raising Campaigns; co-chaired the BC Cancer Foundation's Millennium Campaign, focused on genome science and research into finding cures for and treatment of cancer; and served on the board of Falconbridge Inc.
Kempston Darkes was born and raised in the Toronto area. She holds a bachelor of arts degree in history and political science from Victoria College, University of Toronto. She also holds a bachelor of laws degree from the University of Toronto Law School and is called to the Bar of Ontario.
She has received honorary doctor of law degrees from the University of Toronto, University of Victoria, McMaster University, Dalhousie University, Wilfrid Laurier University, and the Law Society of Upper Canada; an honorary doctorate of business administration from Laurentian University; and an honorary doctor of commerce degree from Saint Mary's University.
In 1997, Kempston Darkes received The Order of Ontario and was appointed as an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2000. The American Bar Association in 1998 recognized her with the Margaret Brent Women Lawyers of Achievement Award. In 1999, she received the Distinguished Service Citation from the Automotive Hall of Fame.

Frank McKenna was appointed Deputy Chair of TD Bank Financial Group on May 1, 2006. He is responsible for supporting the Bank in its customer acquisition strategy, particularly in the area of Wholesale and Commercial Banking. In addition, he is representing TDBFG as it works to expand its North American presence as one of the ten largest banks as measured by market capitalization.
Prior to joining TDBFG, he was posted to Washington, D.C. and served as the Canadian Ambassador to the United States of America from 2005 to 2006. Previously he served as Counsel to the Atlantic Canada law firm of McInnes Cooper and Consulting Counsel to Osler Hoskin and Harcourt in Toronto. During this same time, he played leading roles in numerous provincial, national and international companies.
Frank served as Premier of New Brunswick from 1987-1997, successfully winning three elections before honouring the promise he made when elected that he would not stay a day beyond 10 years.
Frank graduated from St. Francis Xavier University with a Bachelor of Arts, completed his post-graduate studies in political science at Queen's University and graduated from the University of New Brunswick Law School as a silver medalist. Frank also holds eight honourary doctorates from Canadian universities.
Frank's career has included participation as a member of the Saucier Committee on Corporate Governance and the Canadian Security Intelligence Review Committee. In a volunteer capacity, Frank was a past National Head of Career Edge, a member of the Fund Raising Committee for the National Ballet School and has been involved with a number of organizations including the Canadian Business Hall of Fame, National Adult Literacy Database, New Brunswick Foundation for the Arts and the C.D. Howe Institute, as well as the capital campaigns of two major universities in New Brunswick. He is also the owner of Glenwood Kitchens, a manufacturer of kitchen cabinets for the Canadian, U.S. and Caribbean market.
Frank and his wife Julie have three grown children and six grandchildren.
As Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Brookfield's power operations, Harry is currently responsible for Brookfield Power's strategic initiatives, oversight of the Company's electric power operations in North America, governmental and regulatory affairs and for monitoring the electricity industry's restructuring and deregulation initiatives in global markets with a focus on North America. In addition, he has played an active role in the restructuring of the electricity industry in Ontario as a member of Ontario's Market Design Committee. Harry came to Brookfield in 1997 from Jay-M Holdings Limited through a partnership relationship in Hydro-Pontiac, now called Pontiac Power, a fully owned subsidiary of Brookfield Power. Harry was called to the Ontario Bar in 1982 following his graduation from Osgoode Hall Law School, York University in 1980.
Senator Eyton is a Member of the Senate of Canada and a director of Brookfield Asset Management Inc. and Coca-Cola Enterprises Inc. He is also Chairman of Canada's Sports Hall of Fame and a Governor of the Canadian Olympic Foundation and Junior Achievement of Canada. In 2002 he was awarded Mexico's Aguila Azteca - the highest award given to foreigners by the government of Mexico. Senator Eyton is also the co-founder and co-chairman of the Canada/Mexico Retreat, a volunteer organization formed in 1990 involving senior business and government people for the purpose of promoting two-way trade and investment.
