Mr. Robert J. Lepofsky became our President and Chief Executive Officer on October 1, 2007. He became a director in October 2005 following the acquisition of Helix Technology Corporation, and was appointed to our Board pursuant to the Helix Merger Agreement. Mr. Lepofsky was President and Chief Executive Officer of Helix from January 1989 until December 2004, having previously served as Helix s Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer from 1979 through 1988. He became Chairman of the Board of Helix on January 1, 2005. He joined Ensign-Bickford Industries, Inc., a privately held, broadly diversified company, in January 2005 as President and Chief Executive Officer and remained in that position until his retirement in November 2006. Mr. Lepofsky is also a director of Avantair, Inc., a provider of fractional aircraft shares for business and personal use. In the not-for-profit sector Mr. Lepofsky serves as a member and Vice Chairman of the Board of CareGroup Health System, a major Harvard-affiliated healthcare system in Boston.

Martin S. Headley was appointed Executive Vice president and CFO in January 2008.
Serving as a key member of the senior leadership team, Martin plays a central role in developing and implementing the corporate strategic plan, driving operational efficiencies, improving financial performance, and increasing the pace of profitable growth of Brooks. He reports to Robert J. Lepofsky, President and Chief Executive Officer.
Prior to joining Brooks, Mr. Headley was the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Teleflex Inc., a $2.6 billion global producer of specialty engineered products. Earlier he was instrumental in the transformation of Roper Industries, Inc. and the North American arm of McKechnie, plc as Chief Financial Officer of each firm. He began his career at Arthur Andersen & Co. serving clients throughout the world for thirteen years.
Mr. Headley is qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the United Kingdom and a Certified Public Accountant in the United States. He has served on various company boards and is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Bill Montone joined Brooks in October 2005 when the company merged with Helix Technology Corporation as Senior Vice President – Human Resources. In this role, he has worldwide responsibility for talent acquisition/retainment; organizational development; employee relations; compensation & benefits; and training. He reports directly to Robert J. Lepofsky, President and CEO.
Mr. Montone had served as Vice President of Human Resources at Helix since 1998. During his tenure at Helix, Mr. Montone’s responsibilities included many of the same for which he is responsible in his current position.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Montone spent twelve years at A.T. Cross in Lincoln, Rhode Island in a variety of senior human resource roles. He was also head of compensation, benefits and HRIS at Rogers Corporation in Connecticut, where he worked for 8 years.
Mr. Montone holds a Master of Arts in Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island.
In December 2007, Steven A. Michaud was appointed to the position of Senior Vice President & General Manager of the Critical Components Group (CCG) as part of an executive reorganization designed to improve customer responsiveness. Since October 2005 Mr. Michaud had served in a similar role in the former Vacuum Products Division. As the GM of CCG, he has responsibility for product planning, marketing, engineering, manufacturing and business operations. Mr. Michaud reports directly to Robert J. Lepofsky, CEO.
Mr. Michaud joined Brooks when the Company completed its acquisition of Helix Technology in late 2005. During Mr. Michaud’s seventeen year career at Helix’s CTI-Cryogenics Division he was promoted into positions of increasing responsibility in engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain management. Prior to October 2005 he competed an assignment as General Manager of the Granville-Phillips Vacuum Measurement business where he led the integration after it had been acquired by Helix. Over the course of his career, Mr. Michaud’s work resulted in two patent awards for linear drive motor and cryogenic water pump technologies.
Mr. Michaud holds a Master of Science Degree in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Massachusetts-Lowell and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology from the Wentworth Institute of Technology.

Mr. McGillicuddy was a partner with the international accounting firm of KPMG LLP, a public accounting firm, from 1975 until his retirement in June 2000. During his tenure with KPMG, he served as an audit partner, SEC reviewing partner and in various management positions. Mr. McGillicuddy is also a member of the board of directors of Watts Water Technologies, Inc., a manufacturer of water safety and flow control products. Mr Allen currently is the Lead Director of Steinway Musical Instruments, (LVB:NYSE), one of the world's largest manufacturer of musical instruments and is a director and Chairman of Collectors Universe (CLCT:NASDAQ), the leading provider of value added services to dealers and collectors of high-end collectibles. He serves as a director of Brooks Automation, Inc. (BRKS:NASDAQ), that provides integrated tool and factory automation solutions for the global semiconductor and related industries. Additionally, he serves as a director and member of the Executive Committee of LKQ Corporation (LKQX:NASDAQ), the largest nationwide provider of recycled OEM automotive parts and a director of Avantair Corporation, the only publicly-traded pure play fractional aircraft company. Mr. Allen was Vice Chairman and a director of The DeWolfe Companies until it was acquired by Cendant Corporation in September of 2002. Additionally, he was a director and member of the Executive Committee of Swiss Army Brands until it was acquired by Victorinox Corporation in August of 2002. He provided the original financing for Blockbuster Entertainment, was their founding director and served on the Board until the company was acquired by Viacom/Paramount in September of 1994. Amin J. Khoury is Founder, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of B/E Aerospace, Inc. During Mr. Khoury’s career, he has founded and/or developed companies in the scientific instrument, medical services, medical devices, aerospace and semi-conductor process equipment businesses.
Mr. Khoury received a master’s degree in business administration with distinction from Northeastern University. A member of the Phi Kappa Phi and Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Societies, he also received Northeastern’s prestigious Medallion Achievement Award.
Mr. Khoury also holds Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Chemistry. He currently serves on the boards of B/E Aerospace, Inc. as well as Synthes, Inc.
Mr. Khoury is actively involved in The Boys & Girls Club of Palm Beach County and Martin County, The Mary, Mother of Light Church, The Dana Farber Cancer Research Institute, the Brigham & Woman’s Hospital, The Biomotion Foundation and the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts.

Dr. Park has been a Director since June 2004. Dr. Park was the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Maxtor Corporation, a company that manufactures hard drives and provides storage solutions, until it was acquired by Seagate Technology in May 2006. Previously he served as Managing Director, Investment Partner and Senior Adviser at H&Q Asia Pacific, a private equity firm, from November 2002 to September 2004. Dr. Park served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Hynix Semiconductor, Inc., a company that manufactures semiconductor products, from March 2000 to May 2002. Dr. Park served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Hynix Semiconductor America Inc., from September 1996 to February 2000. Dr. Park also previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Maxtor from February 1995 to July 1996. Dr. Park also serves on the board of Seagate Technology, Ballard Power Systems Inc., a Canadian-based public company in the fuel cells industry, Brooks Automation, Inc., a provider of automation solutions and integrated subsystems to the semiconductor industry, and Computer Sciences Corporation, a publicly-traded leading global information technology services company. From June 1996 until May 2005, Mr. Pond was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Fairchild Semiconductor International, Inc., one of the largest independent semiconductor companies. He has been a director with Fairchild Semiconductor since 1997 and was the Chairman of the board of directors of that company from March 1997 until June 2006. Prior to Fairchild Semiconductor's separation from National Semiconductor, Mr. Pond had held several executive positions with National Semiconductor, including Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
