Chuck originally joined BGL in 1998 and departed in 2003 to earn his masters degree in business. Upon graduation, and after gaining additional middle market merger and acquisition experience with investment banking firm Barrington Associates, Chuck re-joined Brown Gibbons Lang & Company in 2005.

Prior to joining BGL, Sean was a manager in the Corporate Development department at Andrx Corporation, a leading publicly-traded specialty pharmaceutical company, and an investment banker in the healthcare group at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. in New York.
Focusing on mergers and acquisitions and private placements, Andrew Petryk works with a broad range of clients. He has significant transaction experience with corporate divestitures and in the sale and restructuring of companies in the automotive and general industrial industries, as well as business services. Prior to joining BGL, Andrew held positions in private equity, corporate finance and institutional sales. In addition, he worked in the structured finance and loan administration departments of a large Midwestern bank. He started his career in public accounting and is a non-practicing C.P.A.
Chip Wahle has more than 15 years of investment banking and corporate finance experience. He has completed a range of financial advisory assignments including leveraged buyouts, divestitures and public equity transactions on behalf of both private equity firms and for public and private company clients. Prior to joining BGL, Wahle held investment banking positions at Barrington Associates in Los Angeles, Harris Williams & Co. in Boston and Tucker Anthony Sutro (now RBC Capital Markets) in Boston as well as corporate finance positions at ABN AMRO in both Boston and Chicago.
Focusing on mergers and acquisitions and private placements, Glen Clarke leads the firm's Food & Beverage practice. Before joining BGL he was a managing director and head of the Diversified Food Group within Harris Nesbitt, the U.S. investment banking group of the Bank of Montreal. Prior to his involvement in the food and agribusiness sector, Glen worked in Harris Bank's Capital Markets Group where he was involved in mergers and acquisitions, valuation assignments and general corporate finance transactions. In addition, he spent three years with Wells Fargo Bank in their Leverage Finance Group in both the Chicago and San Francisco offices.

John Tilson handles mergers and acquisitions, as well as restructuring transactions, for private equity clients and entrepreneurs, focusing mostly in the consumer products, manufacturing and business services industries. He also was a director in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Banc One Capital Markets in Chicago and a managing director in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at First Chicago Capital Markets, founding the Detroit office for the firm in 1996. John began his investment banking career in 1990 with American National Bank & Trust Company, a subsidiary of First National Bank of Chicago.
Michael Gibbons is the founder of Brown Gibbons Lang & Company. He is also the chairman of Global M&A, the world's leading partnership of mid-market advisory firms. Immediately prior to forming BGL, Michael was president and CEO of Underwood, Neuhaus & Company, a leading regional securities and investment banking firm in Houston, Texas. While with this firm, he also held positions as executive vice president, head of capital markets and manager of corporate finance. Before joining Underwood, Michael was a senior vice president and served on the Operating Management Committee of McDonald & Company Securities, Inc., in Cleveland, Ohio. With the firm for 10 years, he was one of McDonald's youngest general partners.
