Mark McCallum is Executive Vice President, Chief Brands Officer for Brown-Forman Corporation. Lois Mateus is a senior vice president, executive director of corporate communications and services at Brown-Forman. In addition to corporate services (facilities, real estate, meeting planning, B-F Travel, food services and archives) and property management, Ms. Mateus is responsible for public relations, corporate communications, community relations, and contributions. She also is a member of the corporate executive committee. Ms. Mateus is immediate past president of the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft, and serves on the boards of Kentuckians of New York, the International Association of Culinary Professionals' Culinary Trust, Cathedral Heritage Foundation, Kentucky Education Television Foundation and the Warwick Foundation. She is a former State Historic Preservation Officer, member of the Kentucky Humanities Council, Slow Food USA, and a charter member of the Kentucky Oral History Commission. Prior to joining Brown-Forman as a corporate vice president in 1982, Ms. Mateus served in the administration of Kentucky Governor John Y. Brown as state Commissioner of the Departments of Tourism, Public Information and the Arts. From these positions, she worked closely with Phyllis George Brown, promoting Kentucky's economic development and tourism programs, creating the Kentucky Art and Craft Foundation, and initiating the marketing program for arts and crafts that has developed into an important industry for the state. A graduate of University of Kentucky, Ms. Mateus also studied textiles in Ireland and Denmark. Her early work included editing the Journal of Kentucky Libraries and directing the Kentucky Historical Events Celebration Commission for the Commonwealth's 1976 observance of America's bicentennial. She received the University's Lifetime Achievement in Public Relations in 2004. Ms. Mateus is married to Louisville businessman Tim Peters. Together they operate Tallgrass Farm, a 750-acre organic property near her childhood farm in Mercer County. The two were honored as Kentucky Land Heroes in 2005 for their work in farmland conservation.

Michael B. Crutcher was appointed vice chairman of Brown-Forman Corporation on August 1, 2003. Crutcher has responsibility for relations with various stakeholders, including the Board, shareholders and governmental agencies. He is also general counsel and secretary of Brown-Forman Corporation. Crutcher directs the legal and government relations functions of Brown-Forman Corporation. Mr. Crutcher is secretary to the board of directors and serves as secretary of the executive and audit committees of the board. He is a member of the company's management executive committee. Mr. Crutcher served as chairman of the board of directors of DISCUS, the liquor industry trade association, from 1992-1994, and served as chairman of the board of the Centre for Information on Beverage Alcohol, an industry organization based in London, from 1997-1999. He was chairman of the International Center on Alcohol Policies, based in Washington, D.C. from 2000 2001. Mr. Crutcher has spoken at numerous public forums addressing issues that affect the beverage industry, including social responsibility issues, advertising restrictions, taxes, and international trade. He is also a trustee of Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky. Prior to joining Brown-Forman, Crutcher was a senior partner in the Seattle-based law firm now known as Preston, Gates & Ellis. Crutcher is a member of the bar of the states of Kentucky, Washington, and the District of Columbia. Crutcher is a graduate of Yale College, magna cum laude, and the Harvard Law School. He and his wife have three grown children and live in Louisville, Kentucky.

Jim Welch is Vice Chairman of Brown-Forman Corporation, responsible for strategic planning, human resources and the company's internal Business Consulting Group. In addition to coordinating with family shareholders, Welch is responsible for compensation, staffing, employee benefits, and employee development functions for approximately 3,750 Brown-Forman employees in more than 25 countries. Welch joined Brown-Forman in 1989, as manager of Corporate Planning and Investor Relations. One year later, he was promoted to the position of assistant to the chief executive officer, and was elected an assistant vice president in 1992. From1995-1998, Welch was a vice president in charge of the Business Consulting Group, providing internal strategic consulting services to the company. More recently, Welch served as vice president of Human Resources for Brown-Forman Beverages Worldwide. Before joining Brown-Forman, Welch was co-founder and vice president of operations for Source Air Corporation a start-up venture in Charlottesville, Virginia. He began his career with J.P. Morgan & Company in New York, becoming a vice president in 1986. Welch earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Princeton University. He currently is Vice Chairman of Louisville's Downtown Development Corporation. He is a former chairman of the Nature Conservancy - Kentucky Chapter, former president of River Fields Inc., and a former trustee of Bernheim Forest and Research Arboretum. A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Welch continues to reside there with his wife and two children.

Martin S. Brown, Jr. is a partner in the Transactions and Corporate Advisory Services Group. He primarily represents privately held businesses and their owners, and has experience in a variety of complex business transactions including the licensing of intellectual property, international commerce, mergers and acquisitions, the private placement of securities and the implementation of stock option plans for employees and estate planning matters. He is also an experienced health care attorney, having represented specialty pharmaceutical companies conducting financings and licensing rights to specialized technology, a biotechnology company in a dispute regarding intellectual property rights, and a foreign medical device manufacturer developing domestic distribution arrangements. Mr. Brown received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1986 from Yale University, and received his Juris Doctorate from Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1992. He served as a law clerk to the Honorable Boyce F. Martin, Jr., of the United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and is a former member of the Sixth Circuit Advisory Committee. Mr. Brown serves on the board of directors of Brown-Forman Corporation, a New York Stock Exchange listed company. He is a trustee of the Nature Conservancy (Tennessee chapter), and is a director of Nashville Public Television. He is also a director of the Centerstone Mental Health Center, the tenth largest behavioral health services provider in the nation. He serves as president of the Yale Club of Middle Tennessee. He is former president of the Historic Carnton Plantation Association, and a former director and current member of the Exchange Club of Nashville.

He was named president and chief executive office of Brown-Forman Beverages Worldwide at its formation in 1994 and was elected president of Brown-Forman Corporation in 2000, retiring in 2003.
