Buffets Inc.

A. Keith Wall has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Buffets Holdings and of Buffets since January 2006. Prior to joining Buffets, Mr. Wall served as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Worldwide Restaurant Concepts, Inc. from 2001 to 2005. Mr. Wall was also employed at Banner Holdings from 1996 to 2001 as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of its Central Finance Acceptance Corporation and Central Rents, Inc. units. From 1994 to 1996, he served as Vice President and Controller at Thorn Americas. Mr. Wall has 31 years of experience.

Damon Fraser, director and board chair, is the parent of a Nova third grader. As in-house counsel for Eagan-based Buffets, Inc., he brings to the Board seasoned expertise in many different areas of finance, real estate and management. His work as an attorney spans over a decade, and since 1998, Damon has served in many roles at Buffets Inc. He currently serves as Vice President of Restructuring. His primary responsibilities are to manage and oversee the Chapter 11 Restructuring of the company, including managing the many constituencies of lenders, advisors and attorneys. Damon also worked as a real estate attorney for Menard s after earning his law degree from the William Mitchell College of Law in Saint Paul. Damon s primary goals for this school year include continuing to build a strong governing Board, focusing school-wide and community efforts for starting our School of Rhetoric in the fall of 2009, and securing a permanent home for Nova Classical Academy. He looks forward to serving Nova as Board chair and parent volunteer and helping continue its success as a leader in Classical K-12 education.

Frederick J. Iseman. Mr. Frederick J. Iseman has been a director since December 15, 2008. Mr. Iseman is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CI Capital Partners LLC, a private equity investment firm he founded in 1993. He is also Chairman of Conney Safety Products, LLC, KIK Custom Products, Valley National Gases LLC, CoVant Technologies, American Residential Services, L.L.C. and Ply Gem Industries, Inc., as well as a member of the Advisory Board of the STAR Fund. He is the former Chairman of Anteon International Corporation. From 1988 to 1990, as a member of Hambro International Equity Partners, Mr. Iseman made or directed investments in healthcare, environmental services, publishing and banking. From 1990 to 1993, he ran Hambro-Iseman Capital Partners and was the controlling shareholder of the public company Geowaste, Inc. In addition, Mr. Iseman is a Board member of the International Rescue Committee, the Metropolitan Opera, the Municipal Art Society, Carnegie Hall, the White Nights Foundation of America and the Academy for Educational Development. Mr. Iseman received a BA in English Literature from Yale College. He is 56 years old.

Steven M. Lefkowitz is a Managing Director of Caxton-Iseman, which he joined in 1993. Mr. Lefkowitz is a director of KIK Custom Products, Valley National Gases, Inc., American Residential Services, L.L.C., Electrograph Systems, Inc., Prodigy Health Group, Ply Gem Industries, Inc. and Buffets, Inc., and a former director of Anteon International Corporation, Mr. Lefkowitz was formerly a Vice President and limited partner in Mancuso & Company's $100 million equity fund, where he specialized in the acquisition of consumer product companies. Mr. Lefkowitz was a director of Sports Holding Corp., the world's largest manufacturer of hockey sticks, hockey equipment and outdoor footwear. Mr. Lefkowitz also participated in the acquisition of Life Fitness, the largest electronic fitness equipment manufacturer, which was sold to Brunswick. Mr. Lefkowitz attended Northwestern University and Kellogg Graduate Business School. He is from Columbus, Ohio.
