Mr. Mellor (64) is the Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of BMHC and has served as a director since 1991. Mr. Mellor was previously Of Counsel with the law firm of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP from 1990 through February 15, 1997. He also serves as a director of Coeur d'Alene Mines Corporation, The Ryland Group, Inc., Monro Muffler Brake, Inc. and the California Chamber of Commerce. He is on the board of councilors of Save-the-Redwoods League. He does not serve on the audit committee of any of these boards. Mr. Mellor plans to transition off of one of these boards no later than the BMHC 2006 annual meeting. This transition period will allow that company ample time to find a replacement.

Mr. Wilson was elected President and Chief Operating Officer in 2008 and President and CEO of BMC West in 2004. He was appointed a Senior Vice President in 2003. He was elected Vice President in 2000 and was General Manager of the Pacific Division of BMC West from 1993 to 2003.

Mr. Street joined the Company in 1999 as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary and has been Chief Administrative Officer since 2001. He previously served as our outside General Counsel & Secretary while a partner of the law firm of Moffatt, Thomas, Barrett, Rock & Fields

Mr. Smartt joined the company as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in April 2004. He previously served from 1992 to 2001 as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial and Administrative Officer of DHL Express, a leader in international air express service.

Mr. Beem was appointed Vice President in January 2006 and Controller in April 2005. He joined the Company as Accounting Manager in 1996. Mr. Beem is a Certified Public Accountant and his experience includes three years with an international public accounting firm.

Mr. Fitchett has been Vice President, Infrastructure Services since 2007. He joined the company in 2005 as Director of Infrastructure within the Company's information technology group. He previously held a variety of positions at Idaho Power Company and, most recently, at Albertson's Inc., where he served as Director of IT Middleware Engineering.

Mr. Fa joined the company in December of 2005 as Vice President - Real Estate. He previously served as Associate Director for Development at the Presidio Trust in San Francisco from 1999 to 2005. Mr. Fa also held senior positions at Hines, an international real estate developer, from 1998 to 1999 and at Charles Dunn Real Estate Services from 1996 to 1998.

Mr. Kailer has been Vice President and Treasurer since 2003. He joined the company in 2000 as Assistant Treasurer. He was previously Senior Manager of Treasury Services at Circle International Group, a publicly-traded global logistics company based in San Francisco, from 1997 to 2000.

Ms. Rust has been Vice President, Application Services since 2006. She joined the Company in 2005 as Director of Applications in the Company's Information Technology group. She previously held a variety of positions at Micron Technology for sixteen years, most recently serving as Enterprise Business Systems Manager.

Mr. Metcalfe (65) currently manages his own investment and real estate business. He has served as Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer of The Irvine Company, one of the nation's largest real estate and community development companies and, previously, he was Chief Financial Officer and a Director of KB Home Corporation. Mr. Metcalfe holds B.S. and M.B.A. degrees from the University of Washington.

Mr. Walker (64) has served as a director since 2006. He is Chief Financial Officer of the Diocese of Bridgeport in Connecticut. Mr. Walker is a retired partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he most recently served as a National Risk Management Partner, Audit and Business Advisory Services, from 1992 to 2003. He is an Emeritus Trustee of the University of Oregon Foundation, a member of the Business Advisory Council of Lundquist College of Business at the University of Oregon, and a Trustee of the Bank Street College in New York.

Dr. Beckman (51) has served as a director since 2002. She is a member of the Operations and Information Technology Management faculty at the Haas School of Business at the University of California Berkeley. She previously worked for Hewlett Packard and Booz Allen & Hamilton's operations management practice.
