Will Oberton joined Fastenal in 1980 as a part-time warehouse worker. Since then he has served in various sales, operational, and, ultimately, management roles, including chief operating officer (March 1997 through December 2002), vice president (March 1997 through June 2000), and executive vice president (June 2000 through July 2001). He was named president of the company in July 2001 and has served as CEO since December 2002. He has been a company director since June 1999.

Company founder Bob Kierlin has served as Fastenal's chairman of the board and a company director since Fastenal's incorporation in 1968. He was Fastenal's chief executive officer from 1968 through December 2002 and president of the company from 1968 through July 2001. Kierlin also served as a Minnesota state senator from 1999 to 2005.

Mr. Lundquist has worked for Fastenal since 1979. Starting out as a Trainer in Winona, he moved on to be the Assistant Branch Manager in Madison. In 1980, Mr. Lundquist served as Branch Manager in Minneapolis, Beloit, and Indianapolis. Mr. Lundquist then served as Hub Manager in Indianapolis and Hub Manager in Winona. Mr. Lundquist served as Regional Manager from 1991 to 1997 when he became Fastenal Sales Manager. In 2001, he became the executive Vice-President of Sales and Chief Operating Officer.

Since 1992 James "Cory" Jansen has served in various support, operational and sales roles with Fastenal, including regional vice president of our Dallas based region. He currently directs Fastenal's systems development, overseeing both information systems and distribution systems, while also leading product and merchandising development.

Lee Hein originally joined Fastenal in 1985. During his company tenure he has held various sales roles, most recently serving as a regional vice president of Fastenal's Winona and Kansas City based regions. His current responsibilities include sales and operational oversight for our U.S. regional business units based out of our distribution centers west of the Mississippi River.

Reyne Wisecup has served as a director of the company since June 2000. She has been Fastenal's director of employee development since April 2002 and the company's director of human resources since April 1997. She was named executive vice president - human resources in November 2007.

Steve Rucinski has served in various sales roles since joining Fastenal in 1980, most recently serving as senior vice president of strategic accounts and, previously, as regional vice president of our Winona based region. Currently Steve spearheads sales and operational oversight for our regional business units based in Canada, Mexico, Europe and Asia, as well as our global strategic accounts.

Steven L. Appelwick has worked at Fastenal since 1981. He has held various positions in both sales and operations. Steve is currently involved in various civic organizations and sits on the board of directors as Vice President of the Greater Winona United Way, Vice President of the Winona Civic Association and is involved with other local charity groups.

Hugh Miller has served as a company director since April 2007. He is also the chief executive officer of RTP Company, a custom compounded thermoplastics materials manufacturer located in Winona, MN.

Mr. Remick retired from the Board of Director in April 2007. Mr. Remick served as a director of the Company since the Company's incorporation in 1968. For more than the past five years, Mr. Remick has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of Rochester Athletic Club, Inc., an athletic club located in Rochester, Minnesota

Michael Ancius is the director of finance, strategic planning, and taxation of Kwik Trip, Inc., a retail convenience store operator located in LaCrosse, Wisconsin.

Mike Gostomski has served as a director of Fastenal since 1973. He is also President of Winona Heating & Ventilating Company, a sheet metal and roofing contractor located in Winona, Minnesota.

Mr. Dolan has served on Fastenal's Board of Directors since June 2000, and he is Chair of the Audit and Acquisition Committees. Currently, he is a self-employed business consultant. From 1995 through 2003, he was Executive Vice President and COO of Smead Manufacturing Company in Hastings, MN and the Executive Vice-President and COO of Z. Bigatti Cosmetics in St. Paul, MN. From 1980 to 1995, he was an audit partner with KPMG LLP, and employed by that firm from 1970.

Steve Slaggie has served as a director of Fastenal since 1970. He was secretary of the company from 1970 through June 2003 and a full-time employee from December 1987 through June 2003, serving as Fastenal's shareholder relations director and insurance risk manager.
