Captain George Dienis is the Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer of OSG Ship Management (GR) Ltd. In this role, Captain Dienis is responsible for the technical management of OSG’s international product carrier fleet.
Captain Dienis previously worked for Stelmar Shipping Ltd., where he held numerous positions including Chief Operating Officer, Q.E.M.R. and Deputy D.P.A.; Operations Director; Marine Manager; and Port Captain. Prior to joining Stelmar, Captain Dienis worked for the Niarchos Group (a shipping company located in Greece) for 20 years, rising through the ranks to become Master Mariner on both tanker and dry-cargo vessels.
Captain Dienis is the Company’s representative for Hellenic Marine Environment Protection Association and Cyprus Marine Environment Protection Association, two of the largest organizations for the protection of the marine environment in Greece and Cyprus, respectively. He is a graduate of the National Marine Academy of Aspropyrgos, holds a Captain License Class A, and in 2005 received a diploma in ship management from Lloyd’s Maritime Academy.
Lois K. Zabrocky was named Senior Vice President and Head of OSG's International Product Carrier Strategic Business Unit in September 2008. In this role she has oversight of the company's growing international product carrier business, which includes LR1s and medium range Handysize tankers that transport petroleum products and vegetable oils worldwide. Ms. Zabrocky was named head of the business unit in 2005.
Ms. Zabrocky began her maritime career sailing as third mate aboard a U.S. flag chemical tanker. Since joining OSG in 1992, she has been responsible for spot chartering across all sectors including the Aframax International fleet in the Caribbean, North Sea and Mediterranean. Ms. Zabrocky was instrumental in setting up OSG’s Singapore chartering operation in 1995.
Ms. Zabrocky has over 15 years management experience most recently as Vice President responsible for commercial operations of Aframax International, a pool of 35 Aframax crude oil tankers. While in that position, the Aframax Pool expanded in both membership and size. Ms. Zabrocky was responsible for significantly improving the profitability of the pool.
Ms. Zabrocky holds a bachelor of science degree from the United States Merchant Marine Academy and holds a Third Mate's license. She has recently completed the Harvard Business School Strategic Negotiations Course.
Mats Berglund was appointed Senior Vice President of Overseas Shipholding Group, Inc. and Head of its Crude Transportation Strategic Business unit in September 2005. In this role, Mr. Berglund has oversight of OSG’s crude tanker business, which includes its ULCC, VLCC, Suezmax, Aframax, Panamax and lightering tankers.
Mr. Berglund’s prior professional experience has been with the Stena AB Group, one of the largest privately-held shipping companies in the world. From 2002 to 2005, he was President and, from 2000 to 2002, Vice President of Stena Rederi AB. From 1997 to 2000, he was President and, from 1995 to 1996, Vice President of StenTex L.L.C., a joint venture between Texaco and Stena, where he developed a first class commercial tanker organization that more than doubled its business under his leadership. From 1991 to 1995, Mr. Berglund was Vice President and CFO of the publicly listed tanker company Concordia Maritime AB. In 2004, Mr. Berglund structured and led the successful initial public offering of Arlington Tankers and the listing of its common stock on the New York Stock Exchange, a transaction that became a trend setter in the shipping industry.
Mr. Berglund holds a masters of business and finance from University of Gothenburg, Sweden and is a graduate of the advanced management program at Harvard Business School.
Captain Grenier has thirty years of leadership experience in the U.S. Coast Guard, including regulatory enforcement, environmental prevention and response, emergency management, strategic planning and personnel training. He served as Captain of the Port of Boston with responsibility for port safety and security including shipping of liquefied natural gas. His last posting in the Coast Guard was as Chief of Staff, First Coast Guard District. He has conducted merchant vessel inspections for compliance with U.S. and international regulations, including auditing vessel emergency readiness and drills. He has significant experience in strategic planning and disaster preparedness.
Captain Grenier earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Ocean Engineering from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and a Master of Science in Engineering degree in Naval Architecture/Marine Engineering from the University of Michigan.
James I. Edelson was named General Counsel and Secretary of Overseas Shipholding Group, Inc. in March 2005. He was Associate General Counsel of OSG from 2000 until 2005.
Mr. Edelson’s previous professional experience includes having served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary from 1992 until 1999 for a publicly-traded holding company that organized, financed, and participated in the management of a broad cross-section of companies engaged in various fields, especially telecommunications and technology. From 1988 until 1992, he was associated with Proskauer Rose, LLP, where his practice was concentrated in corporate and securities law, including mergers and acquisitions. From 1980 until 1988, he was associated with Kaye, Scholer, Fierman, Hays & Handler.
Mr. Edelson graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree from Wesleyan University, where he was a Phi Beta Kappa member. He received a juris doctor from the University of Chicago Law School.
Robert R. Mozdean joined the Company in August 2005. In this role he is responsible for worldwide human resources and focuses on training and development, performance management systems, organizational development and employee relations, including labor relations.
Mr. Mozdean has served in numerous management capacities during his career. Since 1998, Mr. Mozdean has been Vice President of Human Resources and Legal Affairs at Dannon Company, where he was responsible for the Legal function and all Human Resource activity in the United States. From 1980 to 1998, he held numerous management positions with Seagram Spirit and Wine Group, most recently as Vice President of Human Resource Planning, Development and Compensation. Prior to 1980, he was with American Airlines.
Mr. Mozdean holds a juris doctor from Pace University (New York), a masters of business administration from St. John’s University (New York) and a bachelor of arts degree from Queens College.

Mr. Grant is a Technical Advisor for Mont Vista in the areas of international logistics, biofuel trading, and freight risk management. Sean is a Graduate of the New York Maritime College, one of the nation's leading institutions in the international shipping industry. After spending three years at sea with Sea Land and the Overseas Shipholding Group, Sean came ashore and has been actively involved with tanker owning groups, brokerage firms and currently serves as Vice President for the shipping service firm Inchcape, all of which specialize in the international transshipment of crude oil, refined petroleum products, chemicals and biofuels. Mr. Grant adds expertise to Mont Vista Trading by developing relationships and advising the firm on risk control policies within the international arena for trading biofuels.
Alan R. Batkin, 63, Vice Chairman, Eton Park Capital Management, L.P. (global, multi-disciplinary investment firm) since 2007. Prior thereto, Vice Chairman, Kissinger Associates, Inc. Ariel Recanati is the President and Director of Maritime Overseas Corporation (MOC). He was the Senior Vice President and Chief Strategic and Planning Officer of Overseas Shipholding Group, Inc. from 1998 until 2003. Prior to that, he held numerous positions with subsidiaries of OSG, including Vice President of Chartering and Managing Director of the company's U.K. subsidiary.
Mr. Recanati is a graduate of the London School of Economics and has been an OSG Board member since 1996.
G. Allen Andreas III is an investment professional at Good Hill Partners L.P., an investment management firm that specializes in structured credit instruments. Prior to Good Hill, Mr. Andreas held various investment-related positions at Delaware Street Capital, a value-oriented, multi-strategy firm and Allen & Company, a merchant banking company specializing in advisory work, private investing and asset management. Previously, Mr. Andreas practiced law at Winston & Strawn, focused on mergers and acquisitions, securities transactions and private equity.
Mr. Andreas holds a bachelor of arts degree from Vanderbilt University and a Juris Doctor from Northwestern University School of Law. He has been an OSG Board member since 2004 and is a member of the Audit Committee.
Mr. Vettier has had a distinguished career in the energy industry. During his 15 years at Total, he held positions of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Total Refining & Marketing, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of TotalFinaElf Refining & Marketing and Executive Vice President of Refining and Marketing. He also served as President of Europia, the European Petroleum Industry Association focused on environment, product and policies issues affecting the energy industry in the European Union. Prior to joining Total, he held positions at Orkem and Rhone-Poulenc. Mr. Vettier holds a degree in Law and Economics from Paris University. He is a director of Dresser-Rand Group Inc. Mr. Vettier has been an OSG Board member since 2006 and is a member of the Compensation Committee.

For 22 years, Solomon Merkin has held numerous positions with Leib Merkin, Inc., a private investment company focused on investing in private and public companies. Previously, he was a credit analyst at IDB Holding Corporation Ltd., a diversified investment and financial holding corporation.
Mr. Merkin holds a bachelor of arts degree from Columbia University and a master of business administration degree from Pace University. He has been an OSG Board member since 1989 and is a member of the Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee.

Mr. Komaroff joined Henry Schein in December 2003 as Senior Advisor and a Member of the Executive Management Committee, concentrating in business development and acquisitions, international matters, and legal and regulatory affairs. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Komaroff served as an advisor on legal and board-related issues and provides a wealth of experience in the corporate, commercial and healthcare worlds.
Mr. Komaroff was formerly the Chairman of Proskauer Rose LLP, the Company’s principal law firm and one of the largest firms in the nation, and he led the firm through a period of significant growth. Prior to being elected as Chair of the firm, Mr. Komaroff was the Chair of its Corporate Department. As a general corporate and securities lawyer with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and international transactions, Mr. Komaroff has been involved with hundreds of transactions, dozens of securities filings, and the widest variety of sophisticated issues in which he served as a counselor, advisor, strategist and confidant.
Mr. Komaroff has been active in civic and philanthropic matters, concentrating in the healthcare field. He is a Director of Beth Israel Medical Center; as a Director and member of the Executive Committee of St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center and Continuum Health Partners, one of the largest consortiums of hospitals and healthcare facilities in the New York metropolitan area; and a regent of Long Island College Hospital. In addition, he serves on the Board of Directors of Overseas Shipholding Group (NYSE), The Edmond de Rothschild Foundation, and the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center. For more than 10 years, Mr. Komaroff was a member of the New York State Hospital Review and Planning Council, having received multiple gubernatorial appointments to this position. And at Mayor Bloomberg’s recommendation, he was recently appointed as a Director of the New York City Economic Development Corporation.
Mr. Komaroff earned his bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and his J.D. from Cornell Law School. He was Editor-in-Chief of the Cornell Law Review, a member of the Order of the Coif, and the winner of several academic honors.
