Calence LLC

Mike Fong serves as the Chairman and CEO of Calence, LLC, where he has grown the organization from a start-up network consultancy to the largest, pure-play networking solutions provider in the U.S. His entire career has been spent in the network and communications industry and he is responsible for Calence's growth and strategic direction. Prior to Calence, Fong was a network consultant for a large systems integrator where he worked both domestically and internationally with Fortune 1000 organizations. His primary area of focus was on Network and IT organizational structure, strategy and infrastructure. Fong is an active member in both the technology industry and the Arizona business community. He was awarded the Ed Denison Business Leader of the Year Award by Arizona governor Janet Napolitano in 2004 for his exemplary leadership qualities in entrepreneurship, community involvement and management expertise. Fong is currently co-chair for the Governor's Council on Innovation and Technology and he serves on a variety of other commercial boards and civic organizations. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University .

Brett Rushton, CCIE, CPA, is the vice president of the Network Strategy and Infrastructure (NSI) practice for Calence/Insight Networking Solutions. He joined Calence in 1996 and has more than 17 years of combined information technology and networking experience. In his current role, he is responsible for overall service-line strategy, marketing, sales enablement and service delivery capability development. He has broad experience in a variety of networking disciplines including network architecture, network security, service management and infrastructure operations. Prior to joining Calence, Rushton worked for Arthur Andersen.
