Canary Audit Committee Chair Michael has been working in the technology sector for the last 20 years and is currently CFO of Calix Networks and a member of the Board of Directors. Prior to joining Calix he was VP of Finance at Cisco Sytems which he joined as a result of the acquisition of Cerent where he was CFO. Previously he was CFO of Ascend Communications and before that CFO of Pacific Bell. Earlier Michael was CEO at Network Systems and CFO at Teradata Corporation. Michael is a US citizen but was born and educated in the UK. He lives in the San Francisco East Bay with his two teenage children. Michael has a very strong interest in the early detection of cancer and has himself had prostate cancer on two occasions. He has been cancer free for over three years now, and counting.

Don Listwin is a distinguished networking veteran with more than 25 years of industry experience. During the past two decades, he has served in senior executive roles at Cisco Systems and Openwave Systems. Listwin is Founder and Chairman of Canary Foundation, a public non-profit organization focused on advocating and funding the development of a Biomarker Discovery Platform (BDP) to provide for the early detection of cancer. The Canary Foundation is dedicated to the advancement of molecular diagnostics and applying the Internet collaboration model to the development of the BDP. Listwin serves on the Board of Directors of Sana Security, Calix Networks, GenoLogics, and the Listwin Family Foundation. Don is also a member of the Board of Trustees at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle Washington. A native of Canada, Listwin holds a B.S. in electrical engineering and an honorary doctorate of law from the University of Saskatchewan.

Geoffrey Y. Yang has served as a director of TiVo since October 1997. Since August 1999, Mr. Yang has been a Managing Director of Redpoint Ventures, a venture capital firm. Mr. Yang has been a general partner of Institutional Venture Partners, a venture capital firm since 1989. Mr. Yang is a director of Ask Jeeves, Inc., a provider of Web-wide search, and numerous private companies. Mr. Yang holds a B.S.E. degree in Engineering and Management Systems from Princeton University and an M.B.A. degree from Stanford University.

Michael Gorman is a founding Managing Director of Split Rock Partners. Gorman focuses on investments in software and internet services companies based in Minnesota and the surrounding region. Prior to founding Split Rock Partners, Michael was Managing General Partner of St. Paul Venture Capital, which he joined in 1995 and focused on software and services investments. He is an active supporter of the local entrepreneurial community, and works closely with organizations providing guidance to emerging companies. In addition, Michael served as president of the Minnesota Venture Capital Association in 2000 and 2001. Michael holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Duke University, as well as MBA and JD degrees from Harvard University. He began his venture capital career with the Harvard Management Company. Earlier in his career, he was a management consultant with Bain & Company, where he assisted clients in the development and execution of corporate strategies.
