We are Central and Eastern Europes largest integrated spirit beverages business and one of the largest producers of vodka in the world, measured by total volume, with approximately 29.0 million nine-liter cases produced and sold in 2008. Our business primarily involves the production and sale of our own spirit brands (principally vodka), the importation on an exclusive basis of a wide variety of spirits, wines and beers and the distribution of alcoholic beverages. Our primary operations are located in Poland, Russia and Hungary. In Poland, we are the largest vodka producer and produce the Absolwent , Zubrowka , Bols, Palace and Soplica brands, among others. Absolwent and Bols are the top-selling vodkas in the mainstream and premium segments, respectively, in Poland. We are also the largest vodka producer in Russia, the worlds largest vodka market. Our Parliament and Zhuravli brands are the two top-selling sub-premium vodkas in Russia, and Green Mark is the top-selling mainstream vodka in Russia and the second largest vodka brand by volume in the world. We also produce and distribute Royal vodka, the top-selling vodka in Hungary. William V. Carey has served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company since its inception in 1998. David Bailey has been a director of the Company since December 2003. Mr Bailey joined International Paper in 1968 and has held various levels of responsibility within that company including President IP Poland, and Managing Director Eastern Europe. His current duties are now focused on further business development in Eastern Europe and Russia. He is Chairman of the Board for IP Kwidzyn (Poland) and OAO Svetogorsk (Russia), subsidiaries of International Paper, with combined sales across the region of nearly $1 billion. In addition, he serves on the board of directors for the American Chamber of Commerce in Poland, Litewska Children's Hospital Foundation, United Way Poland, and is a member of the Polish Business Roundtable. Mr Bailey served in the United States Army and graduated with a Chemical Engineering Degree from Oregon State University.

Sergey Kupriyanov was elected to the board of directors effective March 13, 2008, and is nominated for election as a director at the annual meeting, as contemplated by the Share Purchase and Sale Agreement, dated March 11, 2008, among the Company, White Horse Intervest Limited, Bols Sp. z o.o. and William V. Carey, which governs the Company s acquisition of 85% of the capital stock of Copecresto Enterprises Limited from White Horse.
