Jim McCluney joined Emulex in November 2003 as president and chief operating officer and was subsequently appointed to the position of president and chief executive officer in September 2006. During his tenure at Emulex, Mr. McCluney was instrumental in formulating Emulex's strategy for growth and executing on two strategic acquisitions, Aarohi Communications and Sierra Logic, which have positioned Emulex for entry into new high growth market segments. Prior to Emulex's acquisition of Vixel Corporation in November 2003, Mr. McCluney served as Vixel's chairman, president and chief executive officer. From October 1997 to January 1999, he served as president and chief operating officer of Crag Technologies, formerly Ridge Technologies, a storage system manufacturer. From October 1994 to September 1997, McCluney served in various executive positions at Apple Computer, including senior vice president of worldwide operations and vice president of European operations.

Mike Rockenbach joined Emulex in 1991 and has served as executive vice president and chief financial officer since 1997. From 1991 to 1996, Mr. Rockenbach served in senior finance and accounting positions within the Company. During his tenure Mr. Rockenbach's contributions include driving several key financing transactions as well as analysis and integration of strategic acquisitions. Mike Rockenbach was also instrumental in the Company's move from the NASDAQ to the NYSE in 2003. Prior to joining Emulex, Mr. Rockenbach's experience includes various manufacturing finance and financial planning positions at Western Digital Corporation. Mr. Rockenbach holds bachelors' degrees in both accounting and finance as well as a master's degree in International Business from California State University, Fullerton.

Stuart Berman joined Emulex in 2003 and serves as senior vice president and chief technology officer. Mr. Berman came to Emulex as a result of the company's acquisition of Vixel Corporation where he served as chief technology officer. Stuart Berman was named to the list of Top 25 CTOs for 2005 by InfoWorld Media Group for his exceptional innovation and leadership and has been instrumental in identifying and creating technology roadmaps that have yielded strategic opportunities and provided the company a competitive advantage. Mr. Berman holds a master's degree in computer science from the University of California, Los Angeles and earned a bachelor's degree with honors from the University of California, San Diego. Stuart Berman has been awarded eight patents for inventions in the area of Fibre Channel technology.

Marshall Lee joined Emulex in September 2002 as executive vice president of engineering and in November 2004 was elected as an officer of the Company. Mr. Lee oversees Emulex's engineering operations located around the world and ensures that the Company maintains its technology leadership position. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Lee was vice president of engineering at Quantum Corporation, a peripheral manufacturer, from June 1995 to April 2001 and held a senior management position at IBM's Storage Division from April 1994 to June 1995. From August 1992 to April 1994 he was vice president of engineering at Maxtor Corporation, a hard disk drive company, and from June 1984 to August 1992 held a senior management position at Western Digital Corporation, a hard disk drive company. John Warwick joined Emulex in August 2006 and serves as senior vice president of operations. Mr. Warwick is responsible for managing Emulex's global manufacturing operations, which include sites in Spain, Malaysia, the United States, and Mexico. Prior to joining Emulex Mr. Warwick was senior vice president of operations for Lantronix Inc. From April 2000 to January 2003, he was a principal consultant for Pittiglio, Rabin Todd and McGrath, a management consulting firm for high technology industries. From January 1997 to April 2000, he was senior director of materials at Western Digital Corporation, a leading producer of hard disk drives. Previously, Mr. Warwick served in general management and operations management positions for companies in the personal computer industry. He holds a master's degree in business administration from the University of California at Los Angeles and a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering form North Carolina State University. Mr. Warwick also obtained a certification in production and inventory management from APICS.

Steve Berg joined Emulex in September 2006 and serves as senior vice president of corporate development. Mr. Berg leads the company's development and implementation of long-range strategic corporate objectives, including the cultivation of new business opportunities and strategic relationships, while spearheading merger and acquisition activities. Previously, Mr. Berg served as vice president and research analyst at a New York-based investment bank, Punk Ziegel & Company, and helped develop and implement a global management information system for Chase Manhattan Bank (now JP Morgan Chase). Steve Berg holds a master's degree in business administration from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Mr. Wick is focused both on managing technical operations and protecting intellectual property rights. He has degrees in electrical engineering (semiconductor processing) and law, and has been a registered patent attorney for more than 20 years working for such companies as Emulex, Perkin-Elmer, Rockwell International and IT&T.

Bob Whitson joined Emulex in October 2006 and serves as senior vice president and general manager of Embedded Storage Products. Mr. Whitson is responsible for developing and executing Emulex's end-to-end embedded storage products strategy, which spans embedded switches, routers, bridges and I/O controllers. This product family augments Emulex's strategy of providing complete end-to-end embedded and multi-protocol storage connectivity solutions. Previously, Mr. Whitson was president and chief executive officer of Sierra Logic, which was acquired by Emulex in October 2006. Prior to co-founding Sierra Logic, Mr. Whitson served as world wide marketing manager of the storage networking division at Agilent Technologies. Bob Whitson holds a bachelor's

Fred B. Cox has served as a director of the Company since its inception in February, 2000. Mr. Cox is a founder and served as the Chief Executive Officer of Emulex Corporation from its inception in 1979 until he retired in October 1991. Mr. Cox continues to serve on the Board of Emulex as Chairman. From November 1991 until November 1994, Mr. Cox served as President of Continuus Software Corporation, a developer and marketer of computer software products, and served on its Board until the company's acquisition in December 2000.

Don Lyle has served as a director of the Company since its inception in February, 2000. Since 1983 he has served as an independent consultant to various computer and venture capital companies and as a principal of Technology Management Company, a management consulting firm specializing in high technology companies. Mr. Lyle also serves as a member of the board of directors of Emulex Corporation, Systech Corporation, a data communications company, and Datron Systems Incorporated, a leading provider of remote sensing satellite earth stations, satellite communications systems, and HF and VHF radios to worldwide markets.
