Michael D. Fraizer is Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Genworth Financial. He has held this position since the completion of Genworth’s IPO in May of 2004. Prior to that he was a Senior Vice President of GE since June 2000 and served as Chairman of the Board and President and Chief Executive Officer of GE Financial Assurance Holdings, Inc.
Mr. Fraizer also was a Director of GE Capital and General Electric Capital Services, Inc. Mr. Fraizer led the Consumer Savings and Insurance Group, a predecessor of GE Financial Assurance, from February 1996 until October 1996. Prior to that, Mr. Fraizer was President and Chief Executive Officer of GE Capital Commercial Real Estate from July 1993 to December 1996. From July 1991 to June of 1993, he was Vice President—Portfolio Acquisitions and Ventures of GE Capital Commercial Real Estate.
From December 1989 to June 1991, Mr. Fraizer was President and Managing Director, GE Japan. From July 1983 to November 1989 Mr. Fraizer served in various capacities as a member of GE’s Corporate Audit Staff and Corporate Business Development after joining GE in June 1980 in its Financial Management Program.
Mr. Fraizer currently is a trustee of the Virginia Foundation for Independent Colleges and is on the boards of the Andre Agassi Charitable Foundation and the Richmond Performing Arts CenterStage. He is an active supporter of Richmond community programs and, along with his wife, founded the Mary & Frances Youth Center on the VCU campus in partnership with the University.
Mr. Fraizer received a B.A. in Political Science from Carleton College in 1980.

Tom Mann is Executive Vice President—Genworth responsible for the Company’s International segment since July 2008.
Prior thereto, he served as Executive Vice President—Genworth responsible for the Company’s International and U.S. Mortgage Insurance segments since January 2007. Mr. Mann had served as the President and Chief Executive Officer—Mortgage Insurance since the completion of the Company’s IPO in May 2004 and has been President, Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Genworth Mortgage Insurance Corporation, a subsidiary of the Company, since May 1996. Prior to the IPO, he was a Vice President of GE since April 1996. From March 1990 to April 1996, Mr. Mann served as Vice President of GE Capital and General Manager of GE Capital Vendor Financial Services. Prior to that time, he served as Executive Vice President—Operations with GE Mortgage from August 1986 to March 1990. From November 1984 to August 1986, Mr. Mann served as Manager—Finance Operations at GE Capital’s Real Estate Financial Services Division, and from August 1976 to November 1984, he served in various capacities as a member of GE’s Corporate Audit Staff. Mr. Mann received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Ronald P. Joelson has been our Senior Vice President—Chief Investment Officer since December 2008. Prior to joining our company, Mr. Joelson had been the Managing Director of Insurance Strategic Markets of JP Morgan Chase, from July 2007 until November 2008. Prior thereto, he had been with Prudential Financial where he served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer, Asset Liability and Risk Management from June 2000 to July 2007. Mr. Toan was the Chairman of Express Scripts, Inc. from November 2000 until May 2006 and the Chief Executive Officer of Express Scripts, Inc. from March 1992 until his retirement in March 2005. Beth Comstock is Chief Marketing Officer and SVP of GE. She leads the company's organic growth and innovation initiatives, and the sales, marketing and communications functions. She is responsible for GE’s ecomagination environmental business platform, and is currently developing a new cross-business effort focused on health.
She returned to the CMO role after having spent over two years as President of Integrated Media at NBC Universal. In this capacity, she oversaw the television ad sales, marketing and research teams, with a focus on new advertising innovations. She led the company’s digital media development and distribution, including the formation of hulu.com and the acquisition of ivillage.com.
In 2003, she was named GE’s first Chief Marketing Officer in more than 20 years and as such, helped reinvigorate marketing across the company and introduced ecomagination, Imagination Breakthrough innovations and the “imagination at work” brand campaign.
Previously, Beth held a succession of communications and publicity jobs at GE, NBC, CBS and Turner Broadcasting. She began her career in local television production in Virginia.
Beth is a trustee of the Smithsonian's Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum. She is a graduate of the College of William and Mary. She and her husband have two daughters.
