William M. Lambert (50) is president and chief executive officer of MSA. Mr. Lambert joined MSA in 1981 as a design engineer and over the years has served the company in a variety of capacities. He was named General Manager of the company's former Safety Products Division in 1997 and, in 1999, was elected vice president. From 2003 to March 2007, Mr. Lambert served as President of MSA North America. One of Mr. Lambert's career highlights was the development of the patented Quick-Fill® System, an accessory for MSA Air Masks that allows firefighters to quickly replenish their air supplies in emergency or routine-use situations. In 2002, Mr. Lambert was honored for his contributions to North American firefighter safety by Design News magazine, which named him the publication's 2002 "Special Achievement Award" winner. Mr. Lambert holds a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Penn State University and a Master's degree in industrial administration from Carnegie Mellon University. Most recently, Mr. Lambert was elected Chairman of the International Safety Equipment Association (ISEA) of Arlington, Va. He became an MSA director in 2007 and was elected president and CEO in May, 2008.

Mr. Zeitler, who began his career with MSA in 1977 as Manager of Financial Services, was named Treasurer of the company in 1989. In addition to his financial responsibilities, Mr. Zeitler oversees MSA's real estate projects, including Cranberry Woods, a progressive commercial real estate project under development at the company's Cranberry Township site. Mr. Zeitler also serves on MSA's Strategy Committee, responsible for corporate funding and investing, banking and insurance, foreign currency, pension investing, and acquisitions and divestitures. Mr. Zeitler received a bachelor's degree in economics from St. Vincent College and a master's degree in finance from the University of Pittsburgh. His professional and community affiliations include the Financial Executives Institute, the Community Development Corporation of Butler County, Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, and the National Kidney Foundation.

Mr. McClaine began his career with MSA in 1984 as Patent Attorney and then Senior Counsel. Before becoming Secretary, Mr. McClaine served as Associate General Counsel and Corporate Ethics Officer, where he created and implemented the company's corporate compliance program. In addition to his new responsibilities as Secretary and General Counsel, Mr. McClaine will continue to serve as Corporate Ethics Officer. Mr. McClaine received a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering as well as administration and management science from Carnegie Mellon University. He received a juris doctor from the Dickinson School of Law in 1984. Outside of his MSA responsibilities, Mr. McClaine served as treasurer of the American Corporate Counsel Association and was a co-founder and director of the Allegheny County Mock Trial Competition held annually for western Pennsylvania high school students.

Mr. Bigler joined MSA in 1972 and was named a vice president of the company in 1998, at which time he assumed responsibility for all of MSA's U.S. sales. Since joining the company in 1983 as a sales associate in New Jersey, Mr. Herring has served MSA in a variety of capacities. He was promoted to senior sales associate in 1988, and in 1992 became the product line manager for supplied air respirators and relocated to Pittsburgh. He also held the position of product group manager for air purifying respirators. "Mr. Bruggeworth became President in June 2002 and Chief Executive Officer in January 2003. He was appointed to the Board of Directors in January 2003. Thomas B. Hotopp, (66), is a former officer of MSA, serving most recently as president of MSA's North American operations before retiring from the company in 2002.
