Leslie Stretch has 20 years of experience in building long-term customer and business partner relationships in the IT industry. Prior to joining Callidus Software's executive board, Leslie worked for Sun Microsystems for nine years. At Sun, he held the position of Senior Vice President of Global Channel Sales and was the Managing Director of Sun Microsystems U.K. Ltd. Before joining Sun, Leslie held senior sales positions at Oracle Corporation U.K. and was instrumental in accelerating the growth of its Scottish and Canadian operations. Throughout his career, Leslie successfully directed and motivated large sales organizations and facilitated strategic deals. Leslie holds a B.A. Honors degree in Economics and Economic History from the University of Strathclyde, Scotland and a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.

Michael Graves has more than a decade of experience in developing market-leading enterprise applications. Prior to joining Callidus, Michael spent several years at Oracle, most recently as vice president of development in Oracle's Applications Division. In that position, he managed the incentive compensation and territory management global development teams, and helped develop products for customers implementing complex sales force compensation systems. Before joining Oracle, Michael was a financial analyst for the Clorox Sales Company, and created systems for processing compensation payments and customer chargebacks. Michael has a B.S. in Finance and Economic Analysis & Policy from the Walter A. Haas School of Business, University of California at Berkeley.

Bertram W. Rankin has served as our Senior Vice President, Worldwide Marketing since June 2003. Prior to joining Callidus, Mr. Rankin served as Vice President of Marketing at NetManage, a supplier of host access and integration solutions to Fortune 1000 organizations, from October 2000 to May 2003.

Jeffrey Saling has more than 20 years experience in starting, building, and operating successful businesses in the technology arena. In his current role, Jeff is responsible for the Callidus On-Demand line of business, since its start-up in 2006. Prior to leading Callidus On-Demand, Jeff managed one of the company's successful professional services lines of business. Before joining Callidus Software, Jeff worked for Chordiant Software, where he served as Americas Vice President of Field Operations, leading professional services, sales engineering, and sales operations activities in the Americas. Before Chordiant, Jeff held senior management positions with Accenture, and served as Vice President, and Director of Operations for call center and Internet-based start-ups Vehicle Information Network and Consumer’s Car Club. He also held various sales, IT management, and operations management positions between 1983 and 1991. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Production & Operations Management, from California State University, Hayward (East Bay).

Dr. Jimmy C. Duan spearheads the company's go-to-market strategy and direction in the mid-market segment. In this role, he is responsible for the definition of business and solutions strategy, the deployment of the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) Solutions for Sales Performance Management (SPM), and the overall customer success. Dr. Duan has more than 15 years of experience holding management positions in strategic consulting, client services and product management. Previously, Dr. Duan served as vice president of products and professional services at Xactly, where he was responsible for defining solutions and services strategies and managing services delivery to its customers. Previously, Dr. Duan served as vice president of strategic services at Callidus Software, where he played a leading role in defining the strategies for services growth and end-to-end customer satisfaction. Prior to Callidus Software, Dr. Duan held professional services management positions at Quovera and Talus Solutions, which has since been acquired by Manugistics Group. Earlier in his career, Dr. Duan consulted with a number of companies and governmental organizations in the U.S. and Asia Pacific in business process reengineering, quality and risk management, life-cycle costing, and revenue management. Duan holds a Ph.D. in industrial and systems engineering from Virginia Tech.

Steve Apfelberg has more than 15 years of experience in enterprise software. Since 1997, he has focused on sales performance and incentive compensation management solutions, making him one of the pioneers in that software category. At Callidus, Steve has overseen a significant expan¬sion of the company’s product suite and partner ecosystem. Prior to joining Callidus, Steve was a Senior Director of Product Marketing at Siebel Systems. He also held senior financial analyst roles at Oracle Corporation and Remedy Corporation. Steve has a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University.

Brian Cabrera manages and oversees all legal matters for Synopsys and serves as corporate secretary. He joined Synopsys from Callidus Software Inc., where he took the company public in 2003 and served most recently as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary. Prior to joining Callidus, Mr. Cabrera ran the worldwide field legal organization as Chief Operations Counsel for PeopleSoft. Prior to PeopleSoft, he was Senior Counsel for Netscape, Legal Counsel at Silicon Graphics Inc., and a litigator with the law firm of Bronson, Bronson & McKinnon in San Francisco. Mr. Cabrera has also held positions with the California Attorney General's Office, the U.S. Attorney's Office and the United States District Court for the Central District of California. He holds both Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the University of Southern California, as well as a Juris Doctorate from the USC Law School.

Daniel P. Welch has served as our Vice President, Worldwide Client Services since September 1998. From May 1993 to July 1998, Mr. Welch served as Vice President of Eastern Area Sales, then Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Brightware, a provider of interactive electronic commerce software. From January 1985 to May 1993, Mr. Welch served as Director of Accell Development, and then as Director of Professional Services for Unify Corporation, a software solutions company. From February 1983 to January 1985, Mr. Welch served as Vice President of Engineering for Pharmacy Accounting Management, a software company. Mr. Welch holds a B.A. in Marketing from Michigan State University.

William Binch has been an active independent director for seven years. He has extensive experience in worldwide sales, enterprise applications, and BI/analytics. He currently serves on four boards: SPSS (Lead Director), Callidus Software, Saama, & MedeFinance, as well as two Advisory Boards (DemandTec & Verari). Mr. Binch served as CEO/Chairman of SeeCommerce (acquired by NCR/Teradata). He was SVP of WW Sales at Hyperion/Arbor, and a senior executive at Business Objects & Prism, two BI & DW companies. He served for five years at Oracle, departing as VP of Strategic Accounts. He has held executive positions at IBM, Itel, & Fortune Systems.

Charles M. Boesenberg, age 60, has served as a director of Callidus since February 2006, as Chairman of the Board since November 2008, and as Executive Chairman of the Board from November 2007 to November 2008. Mr. Boesenberg also currently serves on the boards of Rackable Systems, Inc., a developer of scalable rack mount servers and Keynote Systems, Inc., a provider of on-demand test and measurement products for mobile communications and Internet performance. Prior to its acquisition by Autonomy Corporation in March 2009, Mr. Boesenberg served as a director for Interwoven, Inc., an enterprise content management provider. Prior to its acquisition by Attachmate Corporation in June 2006, Mr. Boesenberg served as chairman and CEO of NetIQ Corporation, a leading provider of integrated systems and security management software solutions, from August 2002 and served as President and CEO of NetIQ from January 2002 to July 2002. Mr. Boesenberg also served as lead independent director of Maxtor Corporation, a provider of hard disk drive storage products and solutions, from January 2002 until its merger with Seagate Corporation in 2006, and as a director of Onyx Software Corporation, a provider of enterprise customer processing software solutions. Mr. Boesenberg also previously served as a member of the Boards of Directors of Symantec Corporation, a provider of Internet security technology, from June 1994 until September 2002, Macromedia, Inc., a developer of software that helps create and deliver effective user experiences on the Internet, fixed media, and wireless and digital devices, from December 2004 to December 2005, Epicor Software, a provider of integrated enterprise software solutions for mid-market companies, from December 2000 until May 2003. Prior to joining NetIQ, Mr. Boesenberg was President of Post PC Ventures, a management and investment group from March 2000 to December 2001. From December 1998 to February 2000, Mr. Boesenberg served as director, President and Chief Executive Officer of Integrated Systems, Inc., a provider of embedded systems software. Before joining Integrated Systems, Mr. Boesenberg was President and Chief Executive Officer of Magellan Corporation, which was the surviving corporation of a merger with Ashtech, Inc., a position that he assumed in January 1995 with Ashtech. Magellan specializes in satellite navigation and communication products. Mr. Boesenberg has held senior executive positions with a number of technology companies including International Business Machines Corporation and Apple Computer, Inc. Michele Vion , age 49, has served as a director of Callidus since September 2005. Ms. Vion is employed at Level 3 Communications, Inc., an international communications company, as Group Vice President of Human Resources since November 2008 and served previously as Senior Vice President, Human Resources, from September 2006 to November 2008. Ms. Vion was previously employed at Sun Microsystems, Inc., a computer networking company, in a variety of positions including Vice President of Human Resources from 2003 to 2005, Director of Human Resources from 2001 to 2003, and Director of Compensation from 1999 to 2001. Prior to her employment at Sun, Ms. Vion held senior human resource and compensation positions at Storage Technology Corporation, a data management and storage company, Electronic Data Systems Corporation, a global technology services company, and JP Morgan, a global financial services firm. Ms. Vion holds a Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Studies and Economics from Wesleyan University.

During his thirty-year career in the information technology industry, Mike Braun has been CEO of two Silicon Valley software companies and General Manager of four major businesses at IBM. He is currently CEO of the Interim CEO Network. Most of Mike's experience has been working in businesses based on advanced technology in the early stage of market adoption or with businesses needing substantial restructuring around a new vision. Most recently, he returned to IBM in late 1998 to restructure its $3 billion Consumer Division and then ran the $3.5 billion Global Small Business Division until his retirement in August 2000. Mike was also a founder and VP of IBM's Multimedia Division in 1990 and started its Fireworks Partners venture fund in 1992. He also helped launch SNA in 1977 and the original IBM PC in 1981. Mike was also CEO of Blaze Software, the leader in business rule automation software for applications with advanced personalization needs and the CEO of Kaleida Labs, the high profile multimedia joint venture of Apple and IBM from 1993 to 1995.

Robert Youngjohns is president, North America Sales & Marketing and corporate vice president for Microsoft, and oversees a sales force of over 8,500. Youngjohns brings more than 30 years experience in sales, marketing and strategic business development. Prior to joining Microsoft, Youngjohns served as president and chief executive officer of Callidus Software, Inc., a publicly traded company and leading provider of sales management software based in San Jose, CA. Before joining Callidus, Youngjohns spent 10 years at Sun Microsystems, where in his last role as executive vice president of Global Sales, he was responsible for Sun's worldwide sales organization. He also spent 18 years in various roles at IBM. Youngjohns received a M.A. with Honors in Physics and Philosophy from Oxford University. Youngjohns resides in Bellevue with his wife, where he continues to pursue his hobbies of sailing and learning how to fly.
