Mark Maybank was named as Chief Operating Officer of Canaccord Capital Inc. on August 3, 2006. Mr. Maybank is also the Deputy Head of Canaccord Adams, Global Head of Research, and President & Chief Operating Officer of Canaccord Capital Corporation. Based in Toronto, he is responsible for a group of over 90 research and operations professionals, covering over 550 companies across seven sectors, delivering quality client services and actionable global research. Prior to joining Canaccord, he was a technology analyst with a Canadian securities dealer. Mr. Maybank has also worked as COO of a technology services and software development firm, CFO of a US-based cellular services company and in various roles with Deloitte that included involvement with oil and gas, real estate and technology firms.

Mr. Stewart is a professional geologist and an investment advisor and brings a combined 26 years experience in both mining and finance to the advisory team. He spent 11 years in commercial banking and as a stock market regulator with the VSE, and 7 years as a mineral exploration geologist. Mr. Stewart has committed the last 8 years to financing mining exploration at several Vancouver based brokerage firms, most recently as an Investment Advisor at Canaccord Capital Corporation. Mr. Stewart will assist in the identification of qualified Resource Companies and in facilitating private placements in these companies.

Ashanthi is an Investment Advisor with Canaccord Capital in Vancouver. In addition to helping clients with financial planning, she specializes in client services and is the backbone of the administrative operations. She has over thirty years experience in financial management and sales and has held positions with the Teachers' Credit Union, Context Associated and Investors Group. Ashanthi is currently working towards her Certified Financial Planning (CFP) designation. Originally from Sri Lanka, Ashanthi has lived in Vancouver since 1974 and enjoys cooking, the arts and music.

Bote was born and raised on a dairy farm in the Netherlands and is from a family of nine children. His parents taught him the virtue of hard work and the appreciation of the simple things in life: family, friends and enjoying the outdoors. Bote also learned from his parents how to be frugal, the basics of saving money and to live within your means. He immigrated to Alberta in 1981, and has owned his own businesses since 1984. Bote is married to Barbara and they have a son, Robin, and a daughter, Haley. Bote and his family moved to Abbotsford in 1999. His hobbies are camping, hiking and reading history. Bote is a member of the Abbotsford Chamber Of Commerce. He is also involved with the Abbotsford Agricultural Committee, Abbotsford Estate Planning Committee and is an active member of the Living Hope Christian Reformed Church. Bote is a Certified Financial Planner, is licensed as an Investment Advisor and a Life Insurance Agent, and works for Canaccord Capital Corporation in Abbotsford. He has experience in both farming and retail business. He is a student of the financial markets and continually tries to stay up to date with the latest investment ideas and opportunities. Bote specializes in providing guidance to his clients in the fields of Retirement and Wealth Transfer Planning, Income Protection and Family Assistance. Bote builds and monitors investment portfolios and aims to minimize his clients' taxes. His clients benefit from years of "real life, hands-on" experience when it comes to building and preserving wealth. Bote loves to coach his clients and help them achieve their goals in life. Francois Carrier joined Canaccord Capital in 1999, focusing on public and private financing of small and mid-cap growth opportunities in biotechnology, technology and diversified industries. Francois holds a Bachelor of Civil Law and a Bachelor of Common Law from McGill University, and is a member in good standing of the Quebec and New York Bar Associations.

Jameel Ahmed is a senior DBA and analyst at Canaccord Capital. He's worked with SQL Server since 1998 and earned MCDBA and MCAD certifications as well as bachelor's degree in technology with specialization in database systems.

John Zaozirny joined the Corporation's board of directors in 1988. Mr. Zaozirny is Counsel to McCarthy Tetrault and Vice Chairman of Canaccord Capital Corporation. He was Minister of Energy and Natural Resources for the Province of Alberta from 1982 to 1986. Mr. Zaozirny currently serves on the boards of numerous Canadian and international corporations. He is also a Governor of the Business Council of British Columbia. Mr. Zaozirny acts as Pengrowth's Lead Director.

A graduate of the UVic Bachelor of Commerce Program, Kimberly has been in the financial services business for eight years and currently works as an Investment Advisor for Canaccord Capital. Kimberly is committed to contributing to the community in which she lives and passionate about women's issues, and she hopes to put her financial skills to use at the Centre by assisting with the development of finance initiatives and fundraising. Originally from Vernon, Kimberly has now lived in Victoria for 13 years. She enjoys skiing, snowboarding, golfing, and squash.

Paul DiPasquale joined Canaccord Capital in November 1998, with the acquisition of Brink, Hudson & Lefever Ltd. He is responsible for Canaccord's Vancouver Bentall office and is a member of the Executive Committee. Mr. DiPasquale began his career in the investment industry in 1969 with Richardson Securities. Over the past 30 years he has held senior roles with Walwyn Stodgell, Haywood Securities, Yorkton Securities, Continental Securities and Gardiner Watson. Most recently, Mr. DiPasquale served as Senior Vice President and Director of Brink, Hudson & Lefever Ltd. and from 1984-1991 was a member of the Executive Committee and a Governor of the Vancouver Stock Exchange.

Tricia Webb is an Investment Advisor with Canaccord Capital in Toronto. Tricia has worked in the securities industry since 1998, with experience in discretionary portfolio management, convertible hedging strategies, offshore investments and private placements. Tricia specializes in structuring professionally managed segregated accounts for our clients.

Mr. Harris, age 64, is a Consultant and Senior Business Advisor at Goodmans LLP, a law firm. Mr. Harris served as a member of provincial parliament in Ontario, Canada (1981 to 2002), including as the Premier (1995 to 2002), as well as Minister of Natural Resources and Minister of Energy (1985). In addition to serving on Magna’s Board since January 7, 2003, Mr. Harris serves on the public company boards of Augen Capital Corp., ENMAX Corporation, First Service Corporation, Canaccord Capital Inc., EnGlobe Corporation and Chartwell Seniors Housing REIT, as well as the boards of Grant Forest Products, Inc., Tim Horton Children’s Foundation and Mount Royal College Foundation. Mr. Harris is a Senior Fellow of the Fraser Institute.

Cameron McDonald is a member of the corporate finance team in Canaccord Capital's Montreal office. Mr. McDonald is primarily focused on financing emerging growth companies and particularly Public Venture Capital activities for new and existing issuers on the TSX Venture Exchange. Prior to joining Canaccord, Mr. McDonald worked with a private merchant bank in Montreal and before that the Business Development Bank of Canada. Mr. McDonald holds a BSc. From the University of Alberta, a B.A. in Business Administration from Washington State University and an MBA from McGill University. Mr. McDonald holds a BSc. David Rentz has been a member of Canaccord Capital's investment banking team since 1999, focusing on emerging growth opportunities in technology and junior industrial sectors. He has extensive experience with the successful migration of growth companies from the TSX-Venture exchange to senior exchanges, David holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia.
