In his current role as head of Corporate Development, Mr. Venn champions a "principal investor" mindset among CIBC's leadership group. He is responsible for identifying, developing strategic initiatives and joint ventures for CIBC. These initiatives include the acquisition of Merrill Lynch Canada's retail brokerage group, the sale of CIBC's interest in Juniper Financial Corp., Global Payments Inc., Edulinx Canada Corp., and its U.S. retail brokerage operation. In addition, Mr. Venn leads strategic planning activities for CIBC.
Over Mr. Venn's career, he has managed the origination, merchant banking and capital markets businesses of Wood Gundy, where he was chairman and chief executive officer of CIBC's Canadian dealer for seven years. He has been a strategic advisor to many of CIBC World Markets' clients. Mr. Venn worked on the start-up of the merchant banking businesses, the integration of the corporate and investment banking businesses, as well as the acquisition of the professional groups that developed CIBC World Markets derivatives and high yield businesses.
Mr. Venn is chairman and a director of CIBC Mellon; director of FirstCaribbean International Bank Limited; and director of INTRIA Items Inc. He is also on the Foundation, Finance and Investment Committee for Mount Sinai Hospital; Board of Trustees, and incoming Chair of the United Way; Board and Senior Management Committee, United Synagogue Day School; Investment Committee, Toronto Community Foundation; National Advisory Board, State of Israel Bonds; Campaign Executive Committee, University of Toronto; Board of Weizmann Institute of Science, and Co-Chair for the United Jewish Appeal 2004.
Mr. Venn received a BA Sc. (engineering science) in 1973 at the University of Toronto. He proceeded with a scholarship to complete his MBA at Harvard in 1975.
Mr. Snyder is President and Chief Executive Officer of TransAlta Corporation, an energy
company focused on electricity generation and energy trading and marketing. He is Chair
of the Calgary Stampede Foundation and Chair of the Secretariat for Action on Homelessness
for the Province of Alberta. He is past Chair of The Conference Board of Canada, past Chair of
the Calgary Zoo, past Chair of the ecoENERGY Carbon Capture and Storage Task Force and past
Chair of the CalgaryCommittee to End Homelessness. He is a director of the Fraser Institute and
the Canadian INSEAD Foundation. In 2008 Mr. Snyder received the Honorary Associate Award
from The Conference Board of Canada. He received the Alberta Centennial Medal in 2005.

William A. Etherington, 65, of Toronto, ON, has served on the Board of the Company since 2001. Mr. Etherington is Chairman, Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. Prior to 2001, Mr. Etherington was Senior Vice President & Group Executive, Sales & Distribution, IBM Corporation and Chairman, President and CEO, IBM World Trade Corporation. Mr. Etherington is also a director of Celestica Inc. and SS&C Technologies, Inc., as well as a member of the President's Council, University of Western Ontario.
Mr. McCaughey is President and Chief Executive Officer of CIBC, a position he has held since
August 2005. Before his appointment as President and Chief Executive Officer, he was
President and Chief Operating Officer of CIBC from December 2004. From his start in
CIBC’s Wood Gundy Private Client Division in 1990, Mr. McCaughey held a series of
progressively senior positions including President of Wood Gundy Private Client
Investments, Head of Global Private Client Investments, and Senior Executive Vice-President
CIBC, responsible for Wealth Management in 1999. In December 2002 Mr. McCaughey was
appointed Vice-Chair of CIBC and in February 2004 he became Chairman and Chief Executive
Officer of CIBC World Markets Inc., the global investment banking arm of CIBC.
Mr. McCaughey is Chair of the Advisory Board for the Canada Institute of the Woodrow
Wilson Center, a director of the Frontier College Foundation, and a member of The Learning
Partnership’s Corporate Advisory Board.
As Senior Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer for CIBC, Mr. Williamson has overall responsibility for financial, management and regulatory reporting; maintenance of accounting records and internal controls; financial analysis and planning; tax planning and compliance. In addition, Mr. Williamson is responsible for sourcing and payment processing, corporate real estate, and liaising with CIBC investors.
Prior to joining CIBC in 2008, Mr. Williamson was President and CEO of Atlas Cold Storage, a publicly-listed logistics and warehousing company. He has also served as Senior Vice-President of Strategic Planning and Development for Canada Life and as Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer for Clarica Life Insurance Company. From 1991 to 2000, Mr. Williamson held a variety of positions including Chief Financial Officer and subsequently President and CEO with Derlan Industries Limited, a Canadian publicly listed manufacturing company with operations in Canada, the United States, Mexico, and Germany.
Mr. Williamson has worked as a management consultant with international banks, including a period of time working at the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland.
Mr. Williamson is a Chartered Accountant and graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1983.

CIBC Retail Markets provides a full range of financial products and services to almost 11 million personal, business banking and wealth management, as well as investment management services to retail and institutional clients globally. Ms. Baxendale is the Senior Executive Vice-President, CIBC and President, CIBC Retail Markets. She has led the Retail business since 2005, most recently, as Senior Executive Vice President, CIBC Retail Markets.
With approximately 28,000 employees, CIBC Retail Markets has a broad distribution network serving clients through over 1050 branches, as well as CIBC Wood Gundy offices and President's Choice Financial in-store pavilions. Clients also have 24/7 access to telephone banking, online banking and online brokerage, as well as to Canada's 2nd largest ABM network.
Since joining CIBC in 1992, Ms. Baxendale has played a key role in developing strategy and direction for CIBC's Retail Markets and Wealth Management businesses and has held various leadership roles including Senior Executive Vice-President, CIBC Wealth Management, Executive Vice-President, Asset Management, Card Products and Collections, and Executive Vice-President of Global Private Banking & Investment Management Services. Prior to this, she was Managing Director, CIBC Wood Gundy.
Ms. Baxendale is currently a director of CIBC Trust Co. Bahamas Ltd., CIBC Bank & Trust Co. Cayman Ltd., and INTRIA Items Inc. In addition, Ms. Baxendale is a member of the Board of the SickKids Foundation, The Hospital for Sick Children and a member of Executive Council, Canadian Bankers Association. Ms. Baxendale is also the CIBC Executive Sponsor of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure which raised nearly $30 million for breast cancer research in 2008.
Prior to joining CIBC, Ms. Baxendale held various positions with American Express Canada and Saatchi & Saatchi. She has been named one of the “Top 100 Most Powerful Women in Canada” for the past two years and in 2000 was recognized as one of Canada’s Top 40 Under 40. Ms. Baxendale is a graduate of the University of Toronto.

April A. Aandal joined the Financial Advisor Services group as a regional director in 2004. In that capacity, she works with the regional directors and advisors in the US and Canada to establish advisor study groups. These groups provide a forum for financial advisors otherwise unaffiliated with each other to network and learn from each other's applications and uses of Dimensional funds. Previously, April was the vice president of professional development for Assante Asset Management, where she was responsible for the development and delivery of relevant professional development programs for financial advisors. She has been in the financial services industry since 1985 in various sales, leadership, and educational roles, including thirteen years with the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC).
Bill Hamilton is an Executive Coach who specializes in the professional development/growth of senior professionals. A former Human Resources (HR) executive with the Bank of Montreal, CIBC and Manulife, he brings extensive and varied skills in such areas as executive recruitment, career management, HR strategy, leadership, compensation and succession planning. Mr. Enbom is the founder of Allegiant Partners and has been the company's chief executive from its inception in 1998. Mr. Enbom has been involved in structuring, marketing and closing leases and structured transactions since 1988 with such companies as D'Accord Financial Services (now Dresdner Securities), Bank of America Leasing & Capital Group and CIBC World Markets in both Japan and San Francisco. Mr. Enbom has a B.A. in Political Economy from the University of California, Berkeley.

- As Vice President of Customer Operations, Fadi will oversee Sigma's global customer operations, delivery and support processes and their associated organizations. - His latest role was in Corporate Project Management at Shaw Communications Inc. In this role, he led the Project Management practice including delivery, best practices and alignment to strategic planning. Fadi started his career in Engineering at Nortel Networks, followed by S/W development at Bell Northern Research. Soon after, he joined CIBC in Product Management of Electronic Banking Services. He thereafter moved into Project Management consulting by starting Electronic Delivery Consulting Inc. His clients included Nortel Networks, Sprint Canada, Sigma Systems, Ministry of Health, CGI, Chantry Networks, and Shaw Communications. His assignments included PMO methodology development, and Project/Program management of service, H/W, and S/W projects. - Fadi holds a B.Sc. and a M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma State University with a minor in Mathematics (1985/1986). After completing a Masters Certificate in Project Management at York University in 2000, he obtained his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 2001. Most recently Fadi completed the Executive program at Queen's University in November 2005.

Marshall Jensen has over ten years experience working with public companies to meet their financing goals. He has worked as both an investment banker and an attorney, based in San Francisco and New York. Marshall's professional experience includes serving as Co-head of Capital Markets at Adams Harkness, and working as an Investment Banker at Montgomery & Co., UBS Securities and CIBC World Markets. Melissa Nguyen has a deep combination of experience in finance and strategy. Prior to joining Silverline Partners, Ms. Nguyen was a private equity associate at Dailey Capital Management, a lower middle market leveraged buyout investment firm. At Dailey Capital, Ms. Nguyen was responsible for originating proprietary investment opportunities and participating in all aspects of deal structuring, negotiation and due diligence. Ms. Nguyen also helped develop business and market strategy for several target industries and developed numerous white papers outlining Dailey's investment theses in those industries. Before joining Dailey Capital, Ms. Nguyen served as Director of Strategy and Business Development at a New York-based provider of financial analytics products, where she helped devise a market entry and penetration strategy, as well as authored the business plan and various industry and business white papers. The company has since been acquired. Her prior experience includes leveraged finance and restructuring at Chase Securities and CIBC World Markets. Between years at business school, she completed an internship at Goldman Sachs in the Fixed Income division. Ms. Nguyen has an MBA in Finance and Management from the Wharton School of Business, and a BA in Math and Economics from Dartmouth College. Ms. Nguyen currently serves on the Board of Directors of Interasian Resources Group, LLC.

Ms. Peverett was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of British Columbia
Transmission Corporation (BCTC) in 2005. She resigns from that position in January 2009.
From 2003 to 2005 Ms. Peverett was Chief Financial Officer of BCTC. Prior to joining BCTC,
Ms. Peverett was with Union Gas Limited where she held progressively senior finance and
regulatory affairs roles until her appointment in 2001 as President and Chief Executive Officer,
becoming the first woman president of a natural gas utility in Canada. Ms. Peverett was made a
fellow of the Society of Management Accountants in 2003 and was named by RaderEnergy as
one of the 50 Key Women in Energy on a Global Basis in 2004. In addition to the public
company directorships listed below, Ms. Peverett is a director of the Canadian Electricity
Association and is director and Vice-Chair of the B.C. Business Council. Ms. Peverett has been
involved in the Stratford Festival, National Ballet School and the CMA Board in British
Columbia. In 2005, Ms. Peverett received a PEAK award honouring women’s excellence in
the field of finance.
