Elected to the Sun-Rype board in May 2008, Glen Clark serves on Sun-Rype's Compensation & Corporate Governance Committee. Mr. Clark is President of The News Group (North America), a wholesale periodical distributor in the US and Canada, and Executive Vice President of The Jim Pattison Group, a diversified group of operating companies based in Vancouver, BC, which he joined in 2001 as an officer (and later President) of Pattison Sign Group before joining The News Group as President of its Canadian operations in 2004. Prior to 2001, Mr. Clark served as Premier of British Columbia (1996-1999), as Minister of Employment and Investment (1993-1996) and as Minister of Finance and Corporate Relations (1991-1993), having first been elected to BC's Legislative Assembly in 1986. Mr. Clark holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Simon Fraser University and a Master's degree in Community and Regional Planning from the University of British Columbia. Mr. Clark also serves on the board of Westshore Terminals Ltd.

Michael J. Korenberg of West Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, has served on the Board of the Company since 2003. Mr. Korenberg is the Managing Director, Vice-Chairman and a Director of The Jim Pattison Group. He was previously the Managing Director, Corporate Development of The Jim Pattison Group. Mr. Korenberg is a Director of Jim Pattison Group Inc. (and its affiliates), a Director of Sun-Rype Products Ltd., a trustee of Westshore Terminals Income Fund and an adjunct professor, Faculty of Law, University of British Columbia. Mr. Korenberg chairs the Company's Capital Expenditure Committee and is a member of the Audit and Pension Committees.

Alistair Cook was appointed Vice President, Capital Projects in July 2008. Prior to this appointment, Alistair held a number of senior management positions in the Company, including General Manager, Value Optimization, Treasurer, and Operations Controller for the company. Born and raised in British Columbia, Mr. Cook received his Bachelor of Science in Business from Michigan Technological University in 1988. He is Chartered Accountant registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia. Alistair began his career with Canfor in 1993 and has held a variety of Financial and Manufacturing roles throughout the entire organization.

Donald Kayne was appointed Canfor's Vice President, Wood Products Marketing and Sales in January 2001. Prior to this appointment, he was General Manager, Wood Products Sales and Marketing for six years. Born and raised in North Vancouver, Mr. Kayne completed the Forestry and Business Administration program at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Donald began his career with Canfor in 1979, and has held a variety of sales and marketing roles in our Wood Products Group.

Ken Higginbotham was appointed Vice-President, Forestry and Environment of Canfor in June 2005. Prior to that, Mr. Higginbotham was Vice President Forestry, Environment and External Relations. Born in Denver, Colorado and raised in Twin Falls, Idaho, Ken Higginbotham received both a Bachelor and Masters of Science degree in Forestry from Utah State University and a Doctorate in Plant Ecology from Duke University. While completing his university education, Mr. Higginbotham spent two years working with the U.S. Forest Service and as a Research Assistant at Utah State University. His career in academia began in 1974 at the University of North Carolina as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Botany and subsequently the University of Alberta from 1975 to 1988 as an Associate Professor in the Department of Forest Science.

Mark Feldinger was appointed Vice President, Manufacturing in August 2007. Prior to this appointment, Mark held a number of senior management positions in the Company, including Regional Manager-Prince George Region, General Manager-Prince George Division and General Manager-Interior Woodlands (BC and Alta). Born and raised in British Columbia, Mr. Feldinger received his Bachelor of Science in Forestry from the University of British Columbia in 1983. He is a Registered Professional Forester with the Association of B.C. Forest Professionals. Mark began his career with Canfor in 1984 and has held a variety of Woodlands and Manufacturing roles throughout Canfor's Wood Products Group.

Mr. Stewart was appointed Vice President, Human Resources of Canfor on June 22nd 2007. During his 30-year career with Canfor, Rob has been involved in designing employee development and performance improvement programs at both the operational and corporate levels. In his role, Rob has also been responsible for the transition and employee integration strategies resulting from merger and acquisition transactions and company reorganization initiatives. In his previous role as General Manager of Learning and Organizational Development, Rob was responsible for Canfor's succession planning and leadership development programs. Mr. Stewart received his Diploma of Engineering Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) and a Certificate in Conflict Resolution from the Justice Institute of British Columbia.

Frank is the Sales Manager for DSL Ltd. He joined the company in 1999 after working in various capacities at Canfor for over 20 years. Frank is married to Debbie and they have two children. He is active in minor hockey.

Conrad A. Pinette, of Vancouver, British Columbia, has served on the board since 2002. Mr. Pinette's work in the Canadian forest industry began 40 years ago as an owner and President of a family lumber business, Pinette & Therrien Mills Ltd. Mr. Pinette served as Executive Vice President, Tolko Industries Ltd. (2005), Executive Vice President, Riverside Forest Products Limited (2004) and served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Lignum Limited from January 1990 to April 2004. Mr. Pinette is Chairman and a director of Finning International Inc., a director of A&W Revenue Royalties Income Fund, a director of Northgate Minerals Corporation and a past director of the British Columbia Business Council.

John Weatherall has been an Ivanhoe Mines Director since June, 1996. He is currently President of Scarthingmoor Asset Management Inc. and a Board Member of Canfor Corporation. Mr. Weatherall has previously served as a deputy chairman for Okanagan Skeena Group Ltd. He was also a senior Vice-President, Toronto Dominion Bank, Chairman, Toronto Dominion Asset Management and Director and member of the executive committee of Wood Gundy Inc.

Ross S. Smith, of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada was elected to the Board of the Company in May 2009. Mr. Smith had a successful 35 year career at KPMG LLP where he held various roles, including Managing Partner for British Columbia region and served for 13 years on the National Management Committee prior to his retirement in 1998. While in public practice, Mr. Smith served major public and private companies, many of which were in the forest industry, from an audit and securities perspective. Mr. Smith is a member of the Board of Directors of HSBC Bank Canada, Kal Tire Ltd. and Rotherham Holdings Ltd. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of Marsh Canada Limited and is Chairman of the Board of Trustees for K-Bro Linen Income Fund. Mr. Smith has served on many charitable and community boards in past years and currently is a member of the Board of Governors of the University of British Columbia. Mr. Smith qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1962 and was elected a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia in 1990. Mr. Smith chairs both the Audit Committee and the Pension Committee and is a member of the Management Resources and Compensation Committee.
