Canyon Resources Corporation, based in Golden, Colorado, was organized in 1979, commenced trading on the NASDAQ in 1986 and then on The American Exchange (AMEX: CAU) from 1996 onwards. The Company has a history of uranium and precious metals exploration success and can claim a number of significant discoveries. Canyon is involved in all phases of the mining business from exploration, development drilling, feasibility studies and permitting through project construction, operations and final closure. The Company has constructed and operated a total of three gold-silver mines in its history.

He brings 30 years of operations experience and technical skills to this position. With an equal blend of underground and surface mining experience in multiple mineral types and mining methods, he brings critical knowledge to Canyon. Stuart's is responsible for finalizing the re-start feasibility study and implementation plan for the Briggs Mine while simultaneously filling the role of Project Manager at the Reward property. Stuart has managed many aspects of the mining cycle including, permitting, production and reclamation closure. Previous to this position, Stuart worked at Kinross Gold USA as a Project Manager, St. Andrews Goldfields as the General Manager, and 11 years with BHP Billiton where he was ultimately promoted to Executive Manager at the Ok Tedi Mine in Papua New Guinea. Mr. Green has a B.S. Mining Engineering from Montana Tech, Butte, MT.

James K.B. Hesketh - Mr. Hesketh has held the positions of President, CEO and Director of Canyon Resources since August 2, 2005. Leland O. Erdahl has served as a director since July 11, 1994. From 1986 to 1991, Mr. Erdahl served as President and Chief Executive Officer for Stolar, Inc., a high-tech company involved in the radio wave imaging of geologic media and underground radio transmission for voice and data. He was President and CEO of Albuquerque Uranium Corporation, a uranium mining company, from 1987 to 1991 and served as Vice President of AMAX Gold in 1997 and 1998. From January 2001 to September 14, 2001 Mr. Erdahl served as President of Nord Pacific Limited, a mining company with gold and copper interests in Australia and Papau, New Guinea. He is a Certified Public Accountant and is a graduate from the College of Santa Fe. He is currently a director of Canyon Resources Corporation (a mining company whose primary business is the discovery and production of precious metals). Mr. Erdahl also serves on the compensation committee of Canyon Resources Corporation and is Chairman of its Audit Committee.
