As Vice Chairman of Cardinal Health and Chief Executive Officer of Clinical and Medical Products, Dave Schlotterbeck is responsible for the Clinical Technologies and Services (CTS) and Medical Products and Technologies (MPT) segments. Schlotterbeck leads an organization of approximately 26,000 employees and $6 billion in revenues.
Schlotterbeck is also responsible for all of Cardinal Health's businesses outside of North America, the company’s consolidated U.S. hospital sales organization (Integrated Provider Solutions), and global sourcing for the corporation.
Prior to assuming his current position, Schlotterbeck was chief executive officer for the Clinical Technologies and Services business segment of Cardinal Health, with responsibility for the company’s patient point-of-care strategy and key supporting products and services, including the Alaris® Products, Pyxis® Products and Pharmacy Services organizations.
Schlotterbeck was previously a director, president and chief executive officer of ALARIS Medical Systems. He joined ALARIS Medical Systems on April 19, 1999, as president and chief operating officer. ALARIS was acquired by Cardinal Health in the summer of 2004.
Prior to ALARIS, Schlotterbeck was president and chief operating officer of Pacific Scientific Company from 1997 to March 1998, a former NYSE-traded company before it was acquired by Danaher Corporation in March 1998. Pacific Scientific was an international manufacturer of motion control, process measurement and safety products. From 1995 to 1997, he was president and chief executive officer of Vitalcom, Inc., a medical network manufacturer. From 1991 to 1994, Schlotterbeck was executive vice president and chief operating officer of Nellcor, Inc., a medical device manufacturer subsequently acquired by Mallinckrodt, Inc.
Schlotterbeck is a graduate of the General Motors Institute with a bachelor's of science degree in electrical engineering. He holds a master's of science degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University and completed the Executive Institute at Stanford University in 1984.

George Barrett is vice chairman of Cardinal Health and chief executive officer of the company’s Healthcare Supply Chain Services segment, including pharmaceutical distribution, medical/surgical distribution, nuclear pharmacy services and Presource® surgical kitting services.
The company’s customers include retail chain and independent pharmacies, hospitals, laboratories, ambulatory care facilities and physician offices. With the expected mid-2009 spinoff of CareFusion Corporation, Barrett will become the chairman and chief executive officer of Cardinal Health.
Previously, Barrett served as CEO of Teva North America and corporate executive vice president of Global Pharmaceutical Markets of Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. Mike Lynch is Chief Executive Officer of the Medical Segment of Cardinal Health. Supported by more than 17,000 employees in nine countries, the Segment is a leading provider of medical products and supply chain services to hospitals, laboratories, physician offices, surgery centers and other sites of care. The Medical Segment manufactures many of the products it markets and distributes. These product lines are market leaders in the U.S. and many hold leading positions abroad. The Segment also provides integrated services such as procedure-based supply packaging and inventory management solutions to help medical professionals control costs and improve quality in patient care.
Mr. Lynch’s career spans 25 years in healthcare. Since joining the corporation in 1984, he has held global sales, marketing, business development and general management roles of increasing responsibility. Most recently, he was Group President of the company’s Medical Products and Technologies Segment, where he was successful in repositioning the offering from a position of declining growth to one of profitable, double-digit growth. Following a restructuring in 2008, which brought together many of the Medical Products and Technologies businesses with the company’s Medical Supply Chain offering, Mr. Lynch was appointed CEO of the Medical Segment.
Mr. Lynch is on the board of directors for AdvaMed where he sits on the executive committee as chair for the organization’s legal efforts. He holds a bachelor of science degree from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.
Dwight Winstead is Group President of the Clinical Technologies and Services business segment of Cardinal Health. Winstead is responsible for the patient point-of-care strategy of Cardinal Health and key supporting products and services, including Alaris® Products, Pyxis® Products, Pharmacy Services and Integrated Medication Solutions.
Prior to assuming his current position in July 2006, Dwight was Chief Operating Officer of Clinical Technologies and Services where he oversaw the Medication Products, Integrated Medication Solutions, Pharmacy Services and Supply Products vertical business units, as well as horizontally integrated functions including Manufacturing Operations, Customer Support Operations, Quality and Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Standards and Practice and Strategic Marketing.
Winstead also served as group president of the Cardinal Health Automation and Information Services segment and of Clinical Services and Consulting, a role he assumed in 2001 after serving four years as President of Owen Healthcare, a subsidiary of Cardinal Health.
Prior to joining Cardinal Health in 1997, Winstead served as Executive Vice President of VHA, Inc., a nationwide alliance of community-owned healthcare organizations. At VHA, he co-developed VHA’s supply company, the precursor of what is now Novation, and was responsible for all member services.
Before joining VHA, Winstead was Director of Materials Management and Administrative Director of Clinical Laboratories at Alton Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans, La. He previously held multiple healthcare sales positions with both Worthington Diagnostics and Johnson & Johnson. Winstead began his healthcare industry career in medical technology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

Mark Rosenbaum is President, Integrated Provider Solutions, a position he has held since 2005. In this role, he is responsible for creating an integrated and unified sales team across the company that will consistently and effectively sell integrated solutions to the industry's leading hospitals, integrated delivery networks and group purchasing organizations.
Rosenbaum began his career in 1981 as a field sales representative for American Hospital Supply (Pharmaseal) in Birmingham, Alabama. He worked at American Hospital Supply and later Baxter Healthcare, for eight years where he held numerous positions of increasing responsibility.
In 1989, Rosenbaum joined Amsco International as Vice President and General Manager. While at Amsco he helped facilitate a turnaround in the company’s sales, service and marketing efforts. He worked at Amsco for seven years until successfully assisting in the sale of the company in 1996 to the Steris Group.
Rosenbaum joined Cardinal Health in 1996 as Regional Vice President for the Southeast Group, and became Executive Vice President, Health Systems Sales and Marketing in 1998. He progressed to Executive Vice President, Corporate Sales and Marketing in June 2002, where he was responsible for facilitating and leading the field sales, marketing and group purchasing organizations for Cardinal Health in the acute care market.

Michael Kaufmann is the CEO of the Pharmaceutical segment of Cardinal Health. The $85 billion Pharmaceutical segment provides pharmaceutical manufacturers with marketing, distribution, specialty pharmaceutical and logistics services; has the nation’s largest nuclear pharmacy network; and distributes approximately one-third of all medicine prescribed in the U.S. to hospitals, retail pharmacies and other providers of care in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. It also sells generic medications through its ParMed telesales business and manufactures injectible generics in the United Kingdom through its Martindale business.
Kaufmann began his career at Cardinal Health in 1990 as a controller and has held a number of senior operational, sales and finance roles, primarily within Cardinal Health’s pharmaceutical business. He led the company’s pharmaceutical repackaging operation before being promoted to head retail sales and marketing for Pharmaceutical Distribution. After successfully building and leading a team that significantly grew Cardinal Health’s retail chain business, he assumed additional responsibility as executive vice president of supply chain services, where he was instrumental in strengthening the financial performance of the Pharmaceutical Distribution business by leading its transition to a fee-based service model. Next he returned to his roots in finance as the chief financial officer of Healthcare Supply Chain Services (HSCS), where he had responsibility for both the Pharmaceutical and Medical segments’ finances.
In 2007 he was promoted to group president for the HSCS-Medical segment, an $8 billion business that provides medical, surgical and laboratory products to hospitals, surgery centers, diagnostic labs, physician offices and other sites of care. After moving the segment from Chicago to Dublin, Ohio, and initiating a successful turnaround, Kaufmann was named group president of HSCS-Pharmaceutical in March 2008. He was appointed CEO of the Pharmaceutical segment in December 2008.
Prior to Cardinal Health, Kaufmann had a successful career in audit and consulting with one of the nation’s largest public accounting firms. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio.

Mike Duffy is executive vice president, operations, for Healthcare Supply Chain Services at Cardinal Health, a role he has held since joining the company in 2006. Carole Watkins is Chief Human Resources Officer for Cardinal Health. Watkins joined Cardinal Health in 1996 as Vice President of Human Resources for the Cardinal Distribution business and was given additional responsibility in 1999 for the entire Pharmaceutical Distribution and Provider Services business segment. She was promoted to her current position in August 2000.
Watkins came to Cardinal Health with more than 20 years of human resources experience with other Central Ohio based companies including The Limited, O. M. Scott & Sons, Lazarus and Huntington Banks.
She currently serves as President of the Board of Action for Children, the Source for Child Care and Early Learning Services in Central Ohio.
Watkins holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Franklin University.
As Chief Compliance Officer for Cardinal Health, Craig Morford is responsible for ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations that govern the company’s products, services and operations. In this role, his primary focus is regulatory compliance, environmental health and safety compliance, corporate ethics, and enterprise risk management.
Morford joined Cardinal Health in May 2008 after more than 20 years of distinguished service with the United States Department of Justice, including serving as U.S. Attorney in Nashville and Detroit. In 2007, He was appointed by President Bush as acting U.S. deputy attorney general, the second highest ranking official in the Justice Department. There he oversaw 100,000 employees including 93 U.S. attorney offices, and agencies that include the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms. Beginning his career as a trial attorney specializing in tax litigation for the Internal Revenue Service’s Office of Chief Counsel, Morford then spent 15 years prosecuting high-profile corruption and organized crime cases in Ohio.
He has received numerous awards and recognition for his work, including being named the Most Outstanding Assistant United States Attorney in the Nation in 2005, Distinguished Service Awards from the Attorney General in 2003 and 2005 and two awards for superior performance by the Attorney General in 1996 and 2000. In 1999, the Cleveland branch of the FBI named him Attorney of the Year.
Morford received his juris doctorate from Valparaiso University’s School of Law and bachelor’s degree in Economics from Hope College.

Ivan K. Fong is Chief Legal Officer and Secretary of Cardinal Health. As Chief Legal Officer, Ivan manages all legal and corporate governance matters for the company, serves as Secretary to the Board of Directors and oversees Government Relations. He is a member of the company’s Long Range Planning Committee and Executive Leadership Team and chairs the company’s Diversity and Inclusion Steering Council.
Ivan was previously Senior Vice President and General Counsel of GE Vendor Financial Services, a unit of GE Commercial Finance, and prior to that was GE’s first Chief Privacy Leader and Senior Counsel, Information Technology, where he led GE’s global privacy, Internet and information technology, legal, compliance and policy initiatives. Ivan also previously served as Deputy Associate Attorney General at the U.S. Department of Justice and was a partner with the Washington, D.C. law firm of Covington & Burling, where he specialized in complex civil litigation, white-collar criminal law, intellectual property law and appellate litigation. He was also an adjunct professor at the Georgetown University Law Center.
Ivan has been elected to the American Law Institute and is currently a director of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Central Ohio, the Association of Corporate Counsel, the Cardinal Health Foundation, the Columbus Bar Foundation, and the Pro Bono Partnership. He has previously served as chair of the ABA’s Section of Science and Technology Law, a trustee of Stanford University and a director of the Fulbright Association and the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA). Among other honors, Ivan has received the Justice in Action award from the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund and the Trailblazer award from NAPABA.
Ivan was a law clerk to Justice Sandra Day O’Connor of the U.S. Supreme Court and to Judge Abner J. Mikva of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. He received a B.C.L. with first-class honors from Oxford University, where he was a Fulbright Scholar; a J.D. with distinction from Stanford Law School, where he was president of the Stanford Law Review; and an S.B. in chemical engineering and an S.M. in chemical engineering practice from the Massachessets Institute of Technology, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and was editorial chairman of MIT’s student newspaper.
A registered patent attorney, he is admitted to the bars of California (inactive), Connecticut, the District of Columbia and Ohio (corporate status).
Jeff Henderson is the Chief Financial Officer of Cardinal Health.
Prior to joining Cardinal Health in April 2005, Henderson was President and General Manager of Eli Lilly Canada Inc., and previously Vice President and Corporate Controller of Eli Lilly & Co. Henderson joined Lilly in 1998 as Vice President and Corporate Treasurer.

Vivek Jain is Executive Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development at Cardinal Health. He has deep healthcare strategic planning and merger experience, including broad experience with pharmaceutical and medical device companies of all sizes.

Mr. McLoughlin has served as a Director of the Cytomedix board since June 2004. Mr. McLoughlin currently serves as Vice President and General Manager of the Scientific Products Division of Cardinal Health, Inc. Shelley Bird brings more than 20 years of international experience in communications, marketing and strategy to her role as Executive Vice President of Global Communications at Cardinal Health. She is responsible for public relations, employee communications, global branding and Internet/intranet marketing communications.
Prior to joining Cardinal Health, Bird was Chief Communications Officer at NCR Corporation based in the U.S. and Vice President of Marketing Communications and Public Relations for Philips Consumer Communications based in the United States and France. She spent a decade working in Asia, holding a number of positions of increasing responsibility with public relations firm Hill and Knowlton in Hong Kong and later as deputy general manager for their Singapore office. Bird also held several regional management positions in marketing and communications with Motorola Electronics in the Asia Pacific region and as the owner of her own communications and brand consultancy. She began her career in Toronto, Canada with J. Walter Thompson, a global brand communications company. She also taught at the college level in retail management programs.
Bird holds a master's degree in communication management from the University of South Australia where she is currently a Ph.D. candidate in communications. She is a regular speaker on communications, change management and public relations measurement. Bird is an accredited business communicator through the International Association of Business Communicators’ (IABC) professional program. In 2001 and 2005, she was honored with communication leadership awards from the IABC and the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) respectively. In 2004, she was named the Corporate PR Professional of the Year by PR News, a leading public relations news magazine.

Lamont is responsible for designing, developing, implementing and communicating the Cardinal Health’s Supplier Diversity Program. Timothy Mills is the Data Center Manager for Enterprise IT Operations at Cardinal Health's (a fortune 16 company) headquarters in Dublin, Ohio. Mr. Mills has nearly 20 years in electronics, food processing, food service, telecommunications, and healthcare distribution industries. He has held leadership positions as Director, Manager, or Project Manager in the disciplines of Manufacturing, Operations, IT Operations and Customer Service. Mr. Mills is a founding member of Hope Support Services, Inc. a 501 3c non-profit organization dedicated to issues related to infertile and adoption. The services provided include training, professional speakers, and networking. Mr. Mills was raised in Dayton, Ohio. Mr. Mills is a certified Project Manager (PMP), and graduated with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The Ohio State University (1992) and a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology (BSEET) from DeVry Institute of Technology (1985). He has been married to Peggy Ann Mills for 17 years and has three children, Jamie (age 13), Drew (age 12), and Corey (age 8).
