Michael Condron has been serving as vice chairman of CareGuide's board of directors and as an executive officer since July 2008. He became CEO of CareGuide in January 2009 and in that role, Mike sets and communicates strategic company vision and goals. Additionally, Mike focuses on building relationships with our customers. Mike brings significant experience in healthcare consulting to the company and is focused on building teamwork to achieve client and company initiatives. Prior to joining CareGuide, Mike served as president and founder of MEJC Consulting, LLC, a firm focused on healthcare consulting, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. He was also an executive with CorSolutions, a pioneer in the disease management and health solutions market, where he began as general counsel in 2002 and then assumed the roles of president and chief operating officer in August 2005. Mike was also a senior associate at the law firm of Gardner, Carton & Douglas, where he served as outside counsel to CorSolutions and a range of other health care companies. Mike specialized in providing employment counsel and brought substantial litigation experience relating to labor expansions and reductions, restrictive covenants, confidentiality agreements, non-solicitation of employees, executive compensation, and severance agreements. Mike received a Bachelor of Science cum laude from the University of Illinois in Urbana, Illinois, and graduated with a Juris Doctorate from Northwestern University School of Law in Chicago.

Rex M. Dendinger II is the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for CareGuide and brings over 25 years experience in information technology and general management to the CareGuide organization. Prior to Joining CareGuide, Mr. Dendinger was CIO for Magellan Health Services where he was responsible for technology strategy and operations for a $100 million leader in the managed care industry. In this position he re-engineered multiple departments, improved service levels, increased productivity, and improved operating efficiencies. Mr. Dendinger has served as interim CEO and CIO at a number of firms, providing vital expertise to start-up organizations, executive leadership to a regional claims administration firm, and supporting merger and acquisition transactions.

Thomas Hannon joined CareGuide as executive vice president of administration in November 2008 and was appointed executive vice president and chief financial officer in January 2009. Tom brings excellent professional credentials and financial experience to CareGuide, having directed financial operations and improving the financial strength of several companies. He is in charge of CareGuide's fiscal responsibility and partners with operations to invest in customer-centric product development and enhancement. Tom most recently served as the chief financial officer of Alma Lasers Ltd., a global medical technology company. While there, he built upon the financial success of the company to position it for a recently proposed initial public offering. Prior to Alma Lasers, Inc., Tom served as CFO at CorSolutions and as controller at Everest Healthcare Services Corporation. While at Everest, he directed financial operations for the dialysis services division. Tom has also held positions with Baxter International and Deloitte in Chicago. Tom earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Northern Illinois University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Jodie Root was appointed executive vice president of operations and strategic development in October 2008. She provides executive leadership for the company's product and service operations, which include care management programs, health management programs, call centers, and health intelligence and analytics. In addition, she leads the product development department, which is responsible for creating CareGuide's innovative next-generation strategic solutions for the market. Jodie brings substantial experience in healthcare operations across diverse functional areas and extensive knowledge of consumer, payor, provider, and vendor behavior and needs. Most recently Jodie was vice president with Cardiocom Multi-Disease Management, where she led sales and marketing and drove the advancement of home telemonitoring in the healthcare industry. Prior to joining Cardiocom, Jodie, as vice president of clinical programs, acted in developing market solutions for case and disease management with Optum/UnitedHealth Group. Her diverse experience includes positions with United Resource Networks, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota and Blue Care Network/BCBS of Michigan. Jodie served for several years in leadership positions in academic practice management at The University of Michigan and Ohio State University Medical Centers. She also served as the Director of Medical School Admissions and then as Assistant Dean at Loyola Stritch School of Medicine. Jodie received a Bachelor of Science with honors in Health Sciences from Grand Valley State University and earned her Masters of Business Administration degree at Loyola University of Chicago.

Derek co-founded Care Planning Partners Inc. in 1993, which has since established itself as the preferred source of industry information and market intelligence among key stakeholders including lenders, developers, real estate professionals, seniors' housing owners and managers. Recognizing a need for better information relating to the housing and service alternatives available to seniors and their families, Derek spearheaded the development of TheCareGuide.com in 1996 and the 2002 launch of The Care Guide, Canada's premier guides to seniors' housing and care services. Derek holds an Honours Degree in Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario. During his studies, Derek worked as a caregiver in a home for special care, where he assisted in the development and implementation of residential care programs for youth residents. He also worked with a Toronto-based consulting firm that specialized in the retirement residence sector. Derek serves on the Board of Directors and is Chair of the Commercial Committee of the Ontario Retirement Communities Association, and is past Treasurer of the White Light Hospice Foundation, a Toronto-based charitable group striving to build a free-standing hospice for terminal cancer patients.

Dr. Elmer Jones was appointed vice president of clinical programs and senior medical director in April 2008. Elmer has been serving as a resource for clinical operations due to his expertise in case and disease management. Elmer is responsible for developing models for clinical programs with measurable characteristics that help to advance quality improvements in the analysis and interpretation of healthcare data. Prior to joining CareGuide, Elmer was a consultant for the disease management division of McKesson Healthcare, where he reviewed and developed national clinical disease management protocols and guidelines for various clinical specialties. He also served as medical director for CIGNA Healthcare TRI MID Connecticut Market, where he championed many disease management and quality improvement initiatives that resulted in measurably improved outcomes and improved use of fiscal resources. Elmer received a Bachelor of Science from California State University, a Master of Science from Columbia University in New York, and Doctor of Medicine from the University of Cincinnati. He is board certified in internal and geriatrics medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP). In addition, he serves as an assistant clinical professor at the University of Connecticut.
Jackie Maynard is the vice president of strategic solutions and business development. In this capacity, she leads the company's account management, implementation and new business development and strategic solutions for current clients. She is focused on developing consultative relationships with clients and ensuring high client satisfaction with CareGuide's services. Jackie brings substantial experience in health care and extensive knowledge of self insurance, Taft Hartley funds, health plans and government clients. Most recently, Jackie was vice president of sales and vice president of client services at CareGuide. She successfully added new clients through her client focused approach to solution development. Prior to CareGuide, Jackie worked at Matria Healthcare (now Alere) providing client management and implementation services. She held management roles at VerNova and Crawford & Company. Jackie received a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Services from the University of Maine at Farmington.

Joseph "Jay" Salvio was appointed vice president of health management in March 2008. He has worked in the Health Care industry for the past 17 years and has extensive experience in managed care, specifically disease management and quality improvement. In his role at CareGuide, Jay is responsible for overseeing the clinical and quality aspects of CareGuide's suite of products. He also leads accreditation activities and implements ongoing operational enhancements and improvements. Prior to CareGuide, Jay was on staff at ConnectiCare, Inc. a regional managed care organization from 1991 to 2008 and held numerous positions within the organization, most recently the position of Director of Disease Management. In this role, he was responsible for the design, implementation, operations, and evaluation of ConnectiCare's disease management programs and oversaw several disease management programs that received national acclaim. Beginning in 1994, Jay was instrumental in helping to achieve and maintain ConnectiCare's accreditation from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). Under his management, ConnectiCare became one of the first four health plans in the country to achieve an additional accreditation from NCQA for the company's six disease management programs.

Mark L. Pacala. Mr. Pacala became a member of our board of directors in January 2006. He has over 20 years of operational and general management experience in services, technology and healthcare companies. He has been a Managing Director of Essex Woodlands Health Ventures since January 2004 and was a Venture Partner of Essex Woodlands Health Ventures from April 2002 to December 2003. From October 2001 to January 2003, Mr. Pacala was self-employed as a venture capital consultant. He served as Chief Executive Officer of American WholeHealth, Inc., an integrative health network company that combines conventional medicine, alternative medicine, nutrition and wellness, from September 1996 to September 2001. Prior to American WholeHealth, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Forum Group, a public senior housing and healthcare company with revenues in excess of $200 million, which was later sold to Marriott Corporation. From 1989 to 1994, Mr. Pacala was a Senior Vice President and General Manager at The Walt Disney Company, and he served as Director of Corporate Planning and Vice President of Operations at Marriott Corporation from 1984 to 1989. He began his career as a banker in 1977 at Manufacturers Hanover Trust Co. and transitioned to strategic planning in healthcare at Booz, Allen and Hamilton. Mr. Pacala currently serves on the board of directors of Health Grades, Inc., a provider of proprietary healthcare provider ratings and advisory services. He received a B.A. degree from Hamilton College where he graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and later received an MBA degree from Harvard Business School, where he graduated with distinction.

Oliver founded CareGuide in 1996, creating the caregiving category on the Internet. Oliver leads the development of CareGuide's Directory of Products and Services, with more than 170,000 listings of service providers, and the largest in the caregiving field. Prior to founding CareGuide, Oliver focused on economic modeling, project management, marketing research, and strategic planning for Bechtel's international consulting group. Oliver earned his B.A. and M.S. degrees from the University of Pennsylvania.

Ann M. Boughtin, 53 . Ms. Boughtin became our Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer on January 25, 2006. Prior to that, she had served as CCS Consolidated s Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer since August 2005. From September 2003 to August 2005, Ms. Boughtin served as general manager for the TennCare Partners Program, a $450 million service operated by Magellan Health Services for the Tennessee Medicaid program. Previously, she was vice president of business development for Comprehensive Neuroscience, Inc. where she worked from June 2001 to September 2003, She was vice president of marketing and business development from June 2000 through April 2001 for Centromine, a privately held technology company, providing an ASP enterprise solution for the behavioral health industry. She was vice president of managed care for Psychiatric Solutions, Inc., a company providing behavioral healthcare management services, from July 1998 until June 2000. Ms. Boughtin began her career as assistant executive director of a large, non-profit agency, and went on to spend 15 years in the New York State Office of Mental Health, where she worked as one of the 50 top executives. Ms. Boughtin holds a Master s in Public Administration (MPA), and an MS and PS in Political Science, all from the State University of New York at Brockport.
Constance brings 20 years of care management, training and counseling experience to CareGuide. Previously, she was Founder and President of a geriatric care management and counseling service in Dallas, Texas. Her company also provided care management for physically and mentally disabled people. Prior to this position, she was a social worker for Dallas Psychiatric Associates where she developed the inpatient adult, adolescent, chemical dependency, and assessment units, and an outpatient clinical social work department. Constance received her M.S.W. from the University of Texas in Arlington.

Peter's 20 year career in the healthcare industry includes leading national sales and marketing for companies such as Managed Health Network, Human Affairs International, a subsidiary of Aetna Life & Casualty Company, and Preferred Healthcare, as well as director providing network functions. Bill Stapleton - Chief Executive Officer - Bill has held senior management roles in the managed care industry for the last 15 years working at Oxford Health Plans, Inc., HCA, Inc., and Health Net, Inc. Before founding HealthPlanOne, he was Senior Vice President for Health Net of the Northeast, Inc., a subsidiary of Health Net, Inc. (NYSE: HNT). His responsibilities included product development and managing the New Jersey and Connecticut Medicaid programs. Bill earned his CPA at KPMG Peat Marwick in Boston. He holds a BA degree from Holy Cross College and a MBA from Harvard Business School.
