Incorporated in Texas in 1973, we are a research-based biopharmaceutical, medical device, raw materials and nutraceutical company engaged in the development, manufacturing and marketing of naturally-derived complex carbohydrates and other natural product therapeutics for the treatment of major illnesses, the dressing and management of wounds and nutritional supplements. Our research and proprietary product portfolios are based primarily on complex carbohydrates isolated from the Aloe vera L. plant. Our operations are comprised of three business segments: the Medical Services Division, Consumer Services Division and DelSite Biotechnologies Inc., or DelSite. We sell prescription and nonprescription medical products through our Medical Services Division and provide manufacturing services to customers in medical markets. Through our Consumer Services Division, we sell consumer and bulk raw material products and also provide product development and manufacturing services to customers in the cosmetic and nutraceutical markets. DelSite, our wholly-owned subsidiary, operates independently from our research and development program and is responsible for the research, development and marketing of our proprietary GelSite ® technology for controlled release and delivery of bioactive pharmaceutical ingredients.

Doug Talley is Director, Quality Control with responsibilities for development and operation of quality control systems, application and analysis of testing and inspection procedures, and the use of metrology and statistical methods to diagnose and correct improper quality control practices. He is also responsible for technology transfer from research and development to manufacturing. Mr. Talley joined Carrington in September 2001 and previously was a Quality Engineer and an analytical chemist in Carrington's drug, research and development department. Mr. Talley has pharmaceutical experience as an analytical chemist with Allergan, as well with Zenith Goldline where he worked from 1994 to 1997. He has a Master of Science in chemical engineering from Louisiana Tech University and a Bachelor of Science in chemistry from Louisiana State University in Shreveport.

Edwin Meese, III was the U.S. Attorney General under President Ronald Reagan from 1985 to 1988 and a Counselor to the President from 1981 to 1985. As Attorney General, he chaired the Domestic Policy Council and the National Drug Policy Board and was a member of the National Security Council. He served previously as Director of the Center for Criminal Justice Policy and Management and a Professor of Law at the University of San Diego, and as the Executive Assistant and Chief of Staff to Ronald Reagan's gubernatorial staff.
