Mr. Kersey joined CASMED in 2001 as the Director of Engineering and became Chief Operating Officer at CASMED in January 2004. In 2007 he was promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer of CASMED. Prior to CASMED, Mr. Kersey was employed by Novametrix Medical Systems, Inc. where he held various engineering management positions. He was also previously employed by Corometrics Medical Systems, a division of GE Marquette Medical, as Engineering Manager. Mr. Kersey holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Warwick (UK).
Mr. Baird joined CASMED in January 2004 as Chief Financial Officer. He has over 20 years of extensive financial management experience in the medical products industry. Before joining CASMED, Mr. Baird was CFO of QDx, Inc. a startup venture engaged in the development of novel medical diagnostic products. Prior to his tenure at QDx, Mr. Baird held various financial positions at Novametrix Medical Systems, Inc. including Controller, Treasurer and CFO. Before joining Novametrix, he was employed by Philips Medical Systems.

Mr. Harris joined CASMED in September 2008 as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Mr. Harris was most recently Vice President of US Sales and Global Marketing at Salient Surgical Technologies (formerly TissueLink), an advanced medical technology company that develops and markets RF based surgical products. Prior to TissueLink he served as National Sales Director of the Electrphysiology Division and Business Director of the Pacing Division of Medtronic, Inc. Mr. Harris has also held various marketing and sales positions with Medtronic, Inc., Cardiac Pacemakers, Inc. (Guidant), and Honeywell, Inc. he is a graduate of the College of New Jersey with a degree in Electronic Engineering Technology, the Executive Program at Darden University, and is a candidate for a M.B.A. at St. Thomas University.

Between 1990 and 2007, Mr. Scheps served as President and CEO of CASMED. In that pivotal role, Mr. Scheps was responsible for defining and shaping CASMED's strategic business direction, resulting in CASMED's unprecedented growth from $3.5 million to over $35 million in sales revenues. Under his leadership, CASMED was a five-time recipient of the "Connecticut Fast 50" award for the fastest growing technology companies in the state, a recipient of the "2007 Innovator of the Year" award from Business New Haven magazine, and named to the Hartford Courant's list of the Top 25 public companies in Connecticut. Before accepting the position of President and CEO, Mr. Scheps held the role of Director of Manufacturing for CASMED. Prior to his career at CASMED, Mr. Scheps was employed by Posi-Seal International as Vice President. He graduated from the GE Management Program and holds an Engineering degree from Purdue University.
Lawrence Burstein has served as a director since June 1999. Since March 1996, Mr. Burstein has served as President and a director of Unity Venture Capital Associates, Ltd., a private investment company. From January 1982 to March 1996, Mr. Burstein was Chairman of the Board and a principal stockholder of Trinity Capital Corporation, a private investment company. Mr. Burstein is also a director of THQ, Inc., CAS Medical Systems, Inc., Traffix, Inc. and American Telecom Services, Inc. Mr. Burstein received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Wisconsin and received his law degree from Columbia Law School.
