In 1958, Joseph A. Cicci, a prominent local building contractor, bought the Syracuse division of the W.A. Case Manufacturing Company. The Case Manufacturing Company produced china and cast iron plumbing fixtures for distribution throughout the northeast. The manufacturing concern quickly evolved into an industrial distributor for plumbing and heating equipment. Throughout the 1960's, Joseph's son Alfred shifted the company's focus from industrial pipe, valve and fittings to kitchens and baths. Today, Case Supply is operated by the third generation of the Cicci family. Alfred remains as chief executive officer, while his son, Joseph, is the vice president of sales and marketing and his son, Stephen, is acting corporate counsel. In the early 1990's, Case Supply opened what is arguably the largest kitchen and bath showroom in the United States. Over 30,000 square feet of fully functional kitchens and bathrooms are wonderfully displayed at the 601 West Fayette St location.
