Mr. Hernreich joined the Company in September 2000 as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Since, he joined the Company, he has implemented a plan to dramatically reduce costs and make the Company a low cost operator. Jack holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Northeastern University in Boston, MA, and an MBA degree with a concentration in Management Information Systems from Babson College in Wellesley, MA. Mark began his career with the Casual Male in 1994 when he joined Fayva Shoes as a District Sales Manager in New Jersey. Between 1995 and 2002, Mark held District Sales Manager and Regional Sales Manager positions with Parade of Shoes and Work N Gear. In January 1992, Mark was promoted to Zone Vice President. Alan S. Bernikow has served as a member of the Board of Directors and as chairman of the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors since 2004. Mr. Bernikow was the deputy chief executive officer at Deloitte & Touche LLP, from 1998 to 2003, where he was responsible for assisting the firm on special projects such as firm mergers and acquisitions, partner affairs, and litigation matters. He joined Touche Ross, the predecessor firm of Deloitte & Touche LLP, in 1977, prior to which he was the national administrative partner in charge for the accounting firm of J.K. Lasser & Company.
