Dr. Fink received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania and completed his internship, residency and cardiology fellowship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, where he served as Chief Medical Resident. Dr. Fink has served as President of the Board of Trustees of the American Heart Association's northern New England affiliates, and as President of the medical staff of Elliot Hospital and Catholic Medical Center. He has also served on the Board of Directors of Catholic Medical Center and he is presently the Medical Director of the New England Heart Institute. Dr. Graff received his medical degree from the Faculte de Medicine Cochin-Port Royal in Paris, France. He completed an internal medicine and cardiology fellowship at Albany Medical Center in New York. He is board certified in Interventional Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. Dr. Graff is a clinical cardiologist with areas of interest in echocardiography, diagnostic catheterization, pacemaker implantation and cardiac CT. Christine Lauer is your host for Your Health Matters, heard Monday through Friday from 2:00 to 3:00PM here on WKXL. Christine is a graduate of Salem State College, where she received an undergraduate degree in economics. After ten years in finance and banking she returned to college to obtain a second undergraduate degree in nutritional science from the University of New Hampshire, as well as a masters in adult education. Christine recently completed additional college credits in broadcast journalism, with the goal of communicating her passion about maintaining good health and nutrition. Christine is a registered and licensed dietitian and is currently associated with Catholic Medical Center where she counsels people about dietary health. She also has a private practice serving people in the greater Manchester and Concord areas. She is the media chair for the board of the New Hampshire Dietetic Association, which holds meetings at Concord Hospital on a regular basis. Christine also worked at The Center for Health Promotion, Concord Hospital prior to her current job. You've probably heard Christine on a variety of NH media, as she is a popular guest who has spread the word about health, nutrition, and preventative medicine.

Dr. Haugh is a graduate of Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, TN. His internship, residency, and four-year cardiology and electrophysiology fellowships were completed at Tufts-New England Medical Center in Boston, MA. Dr. Haugh is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. In addition to diagnosing and treating abnormal heart rhythms using pacemakers, implantable defibrillators and catheter ablation, Dr. Haugh is the Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology and Co-Director of the Congestive Heart Failure Program. He serves on the Board of Trustees of the New Hampshire Affiliate of the American Heart Association and has been recognized as New Hampshire's volunteer of the year. Dr. Philbin earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from Yale University, New Haven, CT, where he also completed a medical residency and fellowships in cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology. He was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society while at Yale. Prior to joining the New England Heart Institute, Dr. Philbin was a partner at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY, where he was the founding director of a regional referral center for heart rhythm disorders. Dr. Goldberg earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA. He completed his residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital in CT, and his fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at Yale University School of Medicine, where he completed a fourth year in interventional cardiology. His areas of particular expertise include interventional cardiology and nuclear cardiology. Dr. Flynn earned his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. Prior to joining the New England Heart Institute, he was a Fellow in interventional cardiology at St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester, MA. Dr. Flynn was also a founding partner of the Nebraska Heart Hospital and a partner in the Nebraska Heart Institute, one of the largest cardiology groups in the country. Dr. Flynn is board certified in Internal Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology and Cardiovascular Disease. Louise Smith, RN, BSN, MS; Director and Chairperson, Commission on Continuing Education. Louise Smith Cushing is serving as co-chairperson of the NHNA Commission on Continuing Education for a second year. This is her second term on the Commission. As co-chairperson and member, Louise functions as a consultant and reviewer of continuing education programs throughout the State. She was instrumental in obtaining a six-year accreditation for the Commisssion as an Approver of Continuing Nursing Education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. Her current nursing practice is as Senior Educator at Catholic Medical Center and adjunct nursing faculty at New Hampshire Technical Institute. Volunteering for NHNA "helps me feel like I am making a special contribution to the profession of nursing. And for me it is also a great way to network with other educators in the State." Louise hopes to begin working on her doctorate in nursing in 2005.

Prior to joining the New England Heart Institute, Dr. Fitzpatrick was an attending physician with the Interventional Cardiology Program at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center for fifteen years. Dr. Patten completed his undergraduate degree in chemistry from Colby College and earned his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He completed his medical residency and a clinical heart failure research fellowship at the University of Maryland and a cardiology fellowship at Tufts-New England Medical Center. Prior to joining the New England Heart Institute, Dr. Patten was an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine and Associate Medical Director for the Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant Program at Tufts Medical Center. Dr. Capodilupo earned his undergraduate degree from Clark University in Worcester, MA, completed his medical residency at Boston University Medical Center and was a fellow in cardiology at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. Prior to joining the New England Heart Institute, he was a partner at Northeast Cardiology Associates in Bangor, Maine. Dr. Capodilupo is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology, and has a particular interest in the diagnosis and therapy of congestive heart failure and in cardiac CT. In addition, Dr. Capodilupo has served as principal investigator in Bangor for several clinical trials. Dr. Beaudette graduated from Tufts University School of Medicine. His internship, residency, and fellowship in cardiology were completed at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, MA. Dr. Fontaine is chairman of the Department of Radiology, and treasurer/secretary of the medical staff at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH. Dr. Fontaine received a B.A. in English from the University of New Hampshire and an M.D. from Boston University School of Medicine. He completed residency training in radiology at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA where he served as cochief resident his senior year. Dr. Fontaine is a practicing general clinical radiologist and a diplomat of the American Board of Radiology. He also serves on the Medical Executive Committee at Catholic Medical Center and the executive committee of Southern New Hampshire Radiology Consultants.
