Joel R. Jung, age 50, has served as our Chief Financial Officer since February 2008. Mr. Jung joined Applied Biosystems Celera group as Vice President of Finance in 2006. From 1995 to 2006, Mr. Jung held various management and finance positions with Chiron Corporation, an international manufacturer of biopharmaceuticals, vaccines, and blood testing products, including Vice President and Treasurer from 2003 to 2006.

Michael A. Zoccoli , age 57, has served as our General Manager, Products Business since February 2008. He joined Applied Biosystems Celera group in January 2002, and held various positions, including Vice President of Development, Vice President of Development, Instruments Systems and Software, and Vice President of Development and Manufacturing, prior to being named to his current position. He previously worked in product development and project management at a number of companies, including Cetus Corporation, Roche Molecular Systems, Applied Imaging Corporation, and Bayer Diagnostics.

Paul D. Arata , age 53, has served as our Vice President of Human Resources and Administration since February 2008. Prior to joining Applied Biosystems Celera group, Mr. Arata held various human resources positions with Applied Biosystems from 2001 to 2008, most recently serving as Vice President of Human Resources and Site Services. Prior to joining Applied Biosystems, Mr. Arata held various human resources and administrative and management roles with Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., SBC Communications Inc. and Pacific Telesis Group.

Arnold J. Levine, Ph.D., is a Professor at The Cancer Institute of New Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine and a Professor at the Institute for Advanced Study. From 1998 - 2002, Dr. Levine was President of Rockefeller University. Prior to joining Rockefeller University, Dr. Levine was the Harry C. Weiss Professor in the Life Sciences and Chairman of the Department of Molecular Biology at Princeton University from 1984 - 1996. Dr. Levine also serves as a Director of Theravance, Inc. and Applera Corporation, publicly traded life science companies. Dr. Levine received a B.A. in Biology from Harpur College, State University of New York at Binghamton and a Ph.D. in Microbiology from the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Slayman is the Sterling Professor of Genetics and Deputy Dean for Academic and Scientific Affairs at Yale University School of Medicine. She joined the Yale faculty in 1967. Dr. Slayman is a consultant to the National Institutes of Health, most recently having served as a member of the National Advisory General Medical Sciences Council, and a member of the Board of Overseers of Dartmouth Medical School.

Mr. Tobin has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Boston Scientific Corporation, a medical device manufacturer, since March 1999. Mr. Tobin previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Biogen, Inc., a biotechnology company, from 1997 to 1998 and President and Chief Operating Officer from 1994 to 1997. Prior to joining Biogen, he held various positions at Baxter International Inc., including President and Chief Operating Officer from 1992 to 1994. Mr. Tobin is also a director of Boston Scientific and Curis, Inc.

Gail K. Naughton, age 52, has served as a director of Celera since July 2008. Dr. Naughton has been Dean of the College of Business Administration at San Diego State University since August 2002 and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Histogen, Inc., a regenerative medicine company, since June 2007. She was Vice Chairman of Advanced Tissue Sciences, Inc., a company involved in human-based tissue engineering, from March 2002 to October 2002, President from August 2000 to March 2002, President and Chief Operating Officer from 1995 to 2000, and co-founder and director since inception in 1991. She is also a director of C.R. Bard, Inc. and SYS.

Jean-Luc Belingard (60) has served as a director of the Company since April 28, 1995. Mr. Belingard is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ipsen SA, a diversified French health care holding company, and has served in that position since 2001. Prior to this position, Mr.

Mr. Ayers is the retired Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Stanley Works, a tool and hardware manufacturer. He was an advisor to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Stanley from January 1997 to October 1997 after having served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Stanley from May 1989 to December 1996. Mr. Ayers is a Trustee of MassMutual Institutional Funds and MML Series Investment Fund and a director of Instron Corporation.
