Celgene keeps leprosy treatment options intact. Founded in 1980 and headquartered in Summit, NJ, Celgene Corporation (NASDAQ-GS: CELG) discovers, develops, and commercializes therapeutic products for immune-inflammatory diseases and cancer. The company offer Thalomid for erythema nodosum leprosum, Revlimid for transfusion-dependent anemia, and Focalin for ADHD, and has several drugs in development. Products in its pipeline will treat psoriasis, inflammatory diseases, and a wide range of cancers. It has collaborative and strategic agreements with Novartis and Pharmion. The company had 2005 revenue of about $536.9 million and has about 945 full-time employees. In June 2006, the company's REVLIMID, in combination with Dexamethasone's supplemental new drug application (sNDA) was granted approval by the FDA for treatment of Multiple Myeloma. This was the third FDA approval for the company in six months.

Dale M. Lombardi leads the Company as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Lombardi has been involved in biomedical research and development in the pharmaceutical industry since 1978 as a physiologist, pharmacologist, drug development project manager, clinical project leader, and licensing and business development executive.
