Michael Neidorff s definition of an entrepreneur is someone who brings together a group of people with differing backgrounds and leads them to collective success. Indeed, it s this special kind of leadership that Neidorff is credited with using to accomplish one of the most successful HMO turnarounds in the health-care industry. A past president of Indiana-based Miles Laboratories, Neidorff s business savvy was sought to consolidate several fragmented groups of Centene and meld them into one large corporation. His raison d etre was to turn a struggling, privately held company into a successful, publicly-traded managed health-care corporation. Operating in Wisconsin, Indiana, and Texas, Centene Corp. is a managed care business that specializes in insuring low-income families on Medicaid and other government programs. Neidorff is a quiet, unassuming leader who totally credits employees with Centene s success. Traveling almost 80 percent of the time, Neidorff says he has a tremendous group of people and a management team who keep the place running while I m on the road.

Ms. Goldman has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer since July 2002. From September 2001 to June 2002, Ms. Goldman served as our Plan Director of Human Resources. From July 1998 to August 2001, Ms. Goldman was Human Resources Manager at Mallinckrodt Inc., a medical device and pharmaceutical company.

Mr. Brodin brings broad experience and skills in financial management and reporting. Brodin joined Centene in 2005 as Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer and was appointed Chief Financial Officer in 2006. From 2002 to 2005, Mr. Brodin served as Vice President, Accounting and Reporting, for The May Department Stores Company. Previously, Mr. Brodin spent thirteen years in the Audit and Business Advisory practice of Arthur Andersen, the final two years of which he was a Senior Manager with their Professional Standards Group where he specialized in consultations on accounting for mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, asset impairments, consolidated reporting, software revenue recognition and income taxes.

Ms. Wilson has served as our Senior Vice President, Investor Relations since January 2005 and as our Vice President, Investor Relations from March 2004 to December 2004. Ms. Wilson has worked as a consultant for Centene since our initial public offering in 2001. From 1995 to March 2004, Ms. Wilson served as the founder and President of In-Site Communications, an investor relations firm in New York, New York.

Ms. Glancy has served as our Senior Vice President, Government Relations since January 2005 and as our Vice President, Government Relations from July 2003 to December 2004. From 1996 to July 2003, Ms. Glancy served as a public policy executive for Deere and Company.

Frederick H. Eppinger, 50, has been a director and the Chief Executive Officer and President of THG since 2003. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Eppinger was Executive Vice President of Property and Casualty Field and Service Operations for The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc. From 2000 to 2001, he was Senior Vice President of Strategic Marketing for ChannelPoint, Inc., which specialized in business-to-business technology for insurance and financial service companies. Prior to that, he was a partner in the financial institutions group at McKinsey & Company, an international management consulting firm, which he joined in 1985. Mr. Eppinger began his career as a certified public accountant with the accounting firm then known as Coopers & Lybrand. Mr. Eppinger is a director of Centene Corporation, a publicly-traded multi-line healthcare company. Mr. Eppinger is an employee of THG and, therefore, is not an independent director. Mr. Eppinger’s term of office as a director of THG expires in 2009.

Ms. Joseph is Chairman of U.S. Bancorp Payment Services and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Elavon (formerly NOVA Information Systems, Inc.), a wholly owned subsidiary of U.S. Bancorp. Elavon manages and facilitates payment processing. Ms. Joseph has been Vice Chairman of U.S. Bancorp since December 2004 and serves on its 13-member managing committee. From February 2000 to November 2004, she was President and Chief Operating Officer of NOVA Information Systems, Inc. Ms. Joseph is honorary chairman of Gift for a Child, a non-profit organization that assists foster children in finding permanent homes. She is also a member of the board of directors for Centene Corporation.
