Logan Kruger is president and CEO of Century Aluminum. Kruger came to Century in November 2005 from Inco, Limited, a Canadian-based mining and metals company, which he joined in September 2003 as Executive Vice-President, Technical Services. While at Inco, he was appointed to the position of President, Asia/Pacific. In this role, he was responsible for the Goro Nickel project in New Caledonia, PT Inco operations in Indonesia and future business development throughout the Asia/Pacific region. Prior to joining Inco, Mr. Kruger held a number of senior executive positions with Anglo American, including Chief Executive Officer of Anglo American Chile Limited, and President and Chief Executive Officer of Hudson Bay Mining & Smelting Company. He joined Anglo American's Gold and Uranium Division in 1972. A native of South Africa, Kruger was born in 1950. He is a graduate of Witwatersrand University, and the Management Development Program at the University of South Africa.

Wayne Hale joined Century Aluminum in March 2007 as executive vice president and chief operating officer. He came to Century from Sual-Holding in Russia, where he served as senior vice president upstream. At Sual, he was responsible for mining, refining and smelting, HSE, logistics, procurement and sales. Mr. Hale has spent 26 years in the aluminum industry including prior senior management experience with Kaiser and Rio Tinto. In addition to his aluminum experience he spent four years in the copper mining, concentrating, smelting and refining industry. Hale, who was born in 1955, holds degrees from Ohio University and Western Washington University.

Bill Leatherberry is Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Assistant Secretary of Century Aluminum. Mr. Leatherberry joined Century in January 2005 after serving as senior transactions counsel to VarTec Telecom, Inc., one of the largest privately held telecom companies in the United States at the time. Prior to this he served as an associate in the Dallas, Texas office of the international law firm Jones Day. Mr. Leatherberry holds undergraduate and MBA degrees from the University of Texas and a J.D. degree from Southern Methodist University.

Jerry Reed is Vice President of Business Development. He came to Century Aluminum from Alcoa, where he served most recently as strategic marketing director for Alcoa Primary Products. Prior to that, he held other senior management positions at Alcoa, McKesson General Medical, Liberty Fabrics and Courtaulds Textiles. Mr. Reed holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Accounting from Emory & Henry College, and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School.

Matt Powell is vice president of operations for Century Aluminum of Kentucky. Mr. Powell, who joined Century in 2003, previously held the position of operations manager at the Hawesville, KY facility. Prior to joining Century, he held a number of senior management roles with Ormet Primary Aluminum Corporation. Mr. Powell, who was born in 1971, holds a BS degree from the University of Rio Grande.

Peter McGuire is vice president and associate general counsel of Century Aluminum. Mr. McGuire joined Century in 1998 after holding senior legal positions with companies involved in aluminum, biotechnology and energy. Mr. McGuire was born in 1948. He is a graduate of Georgetown University and holds an MBA from Wharton and a J.D. from Hastings College, University of California.

Vice Chairman of Barrick Gold Corporation from 2001 to 2005. Chairman and CEO of Homestake Mining Company from 1998 to 2001. Member of the advisory board of Resource Capital Funs III, LLP since 2002. Member of the Industry Advisory Council for the College of Engineering at the University of Arizona since 2002.

Giulio Casello is Senior Vice President of Business Development. Casello joined Century in September, 2005 from Alcoa, where, since 2002, he served as Director of Western Australian Operations for Alcoa World Alumina in Pinjarra, Australia. Since 1986, he has performed in a number of capacities for Alcoa, including General Manager, North American and European Operations for Alcoa World Chemicals, Kwinana Refinery Location Manager and Pinjarra Refinery Production Manager. Mr. Casello, who was born in 1959 and is a native of Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Western Australia, and a Masters of Engineering Management from Curtin University.

Retired on June 30, 2008 as a partner with the accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers. Most recently served as the financial effectiveness and merger integration leader for the Atlanta Advisory practice. Over 30 years of experience with PricewaterhouseCoopers, including 23 years as an auditor and nine years as an advisor to chief financial officers.

Chairman of Century Aluminum Company since August 1995. Chairman and CEO of Century Aluminum from 1995 to 2002 and 2003 to 2005. Director of Glencore International AG since 1993 and an executive of Glencore from September 1990 to June 1996.

Mr. Roman A. Bninski, a director, is a partner of Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP, which furnishes legal services to us and Glencore. On March 8, 2006, Mr. Bninski informed the Board that he will not stand for reelection when his current term expires on the date of our 2006 annual meeting of stockholders.

Mr. Stuart M. Schreiber, a director, is the managing director and owner of Integis, Inc., which we paid $839,000 in fees for management and executive search services provided to us in 2005. In addition, Mr. Schreiber, who is not independent, serves as a consultant to both the Compensation Committee and the Nominating Committee. Our Board of Directors determined that his service to these committees was in our and our stockholders best interest due to his unique industry experience and knowledge. Mr. Schreiber receives a fee of $2,000 per committee meeting he attends as a consultant. In 2005, Mr. Schreiber attended 4 Compensation Committee and 12 Nominating Committee meetings. On March 8, 2006, Mr. Schreiber informed the Board that he will not stand for reelection when his current term expires on the date of our 2006 annual meeting of stockholders.
