(NASDAQ-GS: XRTX) is a provider of data storage subsystems and network technologies. It designs and manufactures PCI cards that analyze and manage network data as well as storage subsystems and controllers. Products for disk drive manufacturers like Seagate and Western Digital are also provided. The company employs about 1,400 people and it had 2005 revenue of $679.6 million. In September 2005, it completed its acquisition of nStor Technologies, Inc. for approximately $21.2 million.

Steve Barber is our Chief Executive Officer and a member of our Board of Directors. Mr. Barber has served as Chief Executive Officer of Xyratex Ltd and its predecessor companies since February 2003, having previously served as President from March 2002 and as Executive Vice President and Director of Business Development from October 2000. Prior to assuming these positions, Mr. Barber led the development of our warranty and repair business from a small U.K. based company to a global business with operations in Europe, the United States and Southeast Asia. Our warranty and repair business was sold to Teleplan in June 1999. Mr. Barber acted as a division president of Teleplan from June 1999 before leaving Teleplan and re-joining our business in October 2000. Mr. Barber was a member of the executive team that led our 1994 management buy-out from IBM and, prior to that, held a number of management positions with IBM. Mr. Barber holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electronic engineering from the University of Natal, Durban, South Africa. Mr. Barber also serves as a director on the boards of directors of several of our subsidiaries.

Richard Pearce is our Chief Financial Officer and a member of our board of directors. Harold Lehon is our Executive Vice President and General Manager of our SI division. Mr. Lehon joined Xyratex in June 2008. Prior to joining Xyratex, he served as General Manager of KLA-Tencor’s Reticle and Photomask Inspection Division. Mr. Lehon brings over 25 years of executive management experience in publically traded companies. Mr. Lehon’s career includes leadership positions in engineering, operations, sales, marketing and business development in KLA-Tencor Corporation, DuPont Photomasks, Inc. and E. I. DuPont de Nemours and Company. Prior to joining KLA-Tencor in 2001, Mr. Lehon was Vice President of Asia Pacific and President of DuPont Photomasks Japan KK for DuPont Photomasks, Inc. Mr. Lehon has served on the board of directors of several start-up and established companies throughout his career. Mr Lehon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Clemson University.

Todd Gresham is our Executive Vice President and General Manager of our Networked Storage Solutions division. Mr. Gresham previously served as a Senior Vice President within the business. In that role, he led Sales, Marketing and Support, since September 2005, when he joined Xyratex from nStor Technologies, Inc. At nStor, he was President and CEO. Mr. Gresham brings over 25 years of executive management experience in both publicly traded and privately held companies. Jonathan Brooks has served as a director on our board of directors since May 1, 2004. Mr. Brooks is currently a director of e2v Technologies plc, which develops sensor technology, and Aveva Group plc, a leading software provider to the plant, power and marine industries, both of which are listed on the LSE. He is also Chairman of Picochip Inc., a private equity backed company developing semiconductor solutions for wireless applications and a director of Sophos Plc, an enterprise IT security and control company. Mr. Sanghi was named the President of Microchip in August 1990, Chief Executive Officer in October 1991 and the Chairman of the Board of Directors in October 1993.
