Chattem Inc.

Robert E. Bosworth , 61, has served as a director since 1998. Since September 19, 2005, Mr. Bosworth has served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Chattem, Inc., a publicly traded consumer products company. Prior to such position, Mr. Bosworth served as Chief Financial Officer for the Livingston Company, a merchant bank located in Chattanooga, Tennessee, since 2004, and as Livingston's Vice President of Corporate Finance since 2001. From 1998 until 2001, Mr. Bosworth was a business and management consultant to various corporations in the Chattanooga area. Prior to 1998, Mr. Bosworth served for more than five years as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Chattem, Inc. Mr. Bosworth is currently a director of Chattem, Inc.

Mr. Long became our vice president of finance in 2007 after serving as chief accounting officer in 2006. Prior to joining Chattem, Mr. Long served as vice president and chief financial officer of Charleston Hosiery, Inc., a manufacturer of hosiery products, previously served as an audit senior manager for Ernst & Young LLP, a global professional services provider, and previously served as staff accountant for Brach’s Confections Holdings, Inc., a manufacturer of confections. Mr. Long is registered as a C.P.A. in the State of Tennessee.

Ms. Crouch became our vice president-brand management in 1995. Ms. Crouch joined us in 1985 as an assistant brand manager. Prior to joining us, she served as product planner for Hayes Microcomputer Products, a manufacturer of modems and communication equipment, and previously was a systems consultant with Arthur Andersen LLP, an accounting firm.

Mr. Pitts joined us in 1961 and since that time has served us in all manufacturing operation disciplines. He was promoted to vice president-operations in 1984.

Mr. Stafford became our vice president-sales in June 1994. Previously, he served as our director of field sales and zone sales manager. Prior to joining us in 1983, Mr. Stafford held sales management positions with Johnson & Johnson, a pharmaceutical company, and Schering Corporation (now Schering–Plough Corporation), a research-based pharmaceutical company.

Mr. Ramey became our vice president of marketing in 2007 after serving as vice president-brand management and media in 2006, marketing manager, from 1998 – 2000, and marketing director, from 2000 - 2006. Prior to joining Chattem in 1998, Mr. Ramey served as brand manager for Nabisco, Inc., a consumer products company, from 1994 – 1997, and previously as an account executive for Interpublic Group, a global marketing communications and marketing services company, from 1993-1994.

Mr. Stroud became our vice president of marketing in 2007 after serving as the Company’s vice president of brand management and as category manager since joining the Company in 2005. From 1995 - 2005, Mr. Stroud served in various capacities, including as vice president of marketing, R&D and quality, at Brach’s Confections, Inc., a manufacturer of confections and fruit snacks. Prior to joining Brach’s, he held marketing positions at Alpo Petfoods (now Purina) and Welch Food, Inc.

Mr. Czerwinski became our vice president of product development in 2007 after serving as the Company’s director of product development since joining Chattem in 2002. Previously, Mr. Czerwinski held various positions at the Procter and Gamble Company and Richardson -Vicks.

Mr. Galante became our vice president-new business development in June 1996. Previously, he was director - new business development. Prior to that, Mr. Galante served as general manager of Chattem Canada, our Canadian subsidiary, from June 1990 to May 1993 and as director of marketing for many of our domestic brands from 1980 until 1990.

Allison Johnson allisoncjohnson@hotmail.com returns to the board in her third year as chapter President. After serving past roles of VP/Operations and President-Elect, Allison?s mission is to serve members? needs, and encourage the active involvement of all AMASV members, board of directors and volunteers. Allison is the Western Region Analyst for Chattem, Inc., a Tennessee based Consumer Products Company. Although Chattem Manufactures and markets roughly 26 brands, the major brands in Chattem?s portfolio include Icy Hot, Gold Bond, Selsun, Act Mouthwash, Cortizone-10 and Unisom. As an Analyst, Allison manages Nielsen data in order to support sales and marketing initiatives at such retailers as Safeway, Longs and Raley?s.
