Peter Primont joined the company in 1986 as President and became CEO of the Cherry Lane Music Group in 1990. He sits on the Board for the National Music Publishers' Association. Richard Stumpf is responsible for writer signings and content acquisitions and collaborates with fellow senior management on business development strategy, including the implementation of strategic joint ventures. Milt Okun founded Cherry Lane Music Publishing in 1960. Lois Dilivio moved to Hoboken in 1982, after earning a BA in English from Colgate University. She started studying music seriously in her late 20's, eventually earning a Master's degree in Composition at age 35 from Mannes, where her principle teacher was David Tcimpidis. As an actress, poet, singer/songwriter, musician and composer, Ms. Dilivio has performed at, or had work performed at: Makor, The Knitting Factory, The Construction Company, The New York Historical Society, assorted Holiday Inns, and many other venues. She worked in the music department of the feature films Music of the Heart, Girlfight and all three The Lord of the Rings and is the author of Dave Matthews Band - The Legendary Licks (Guitar) for Cherry Lane Music Group. Ms. Dilivio also plays bass and keyboard in "Sunday Girl," a Blondie tribute band.
