David Kinsaul, FACHE, joined Dayton Children's as president and chief executive officer in July 2003. Kinsaul came to Dayton from Children's Health System in Birmingham, Alabama. He succeeded Laurence P. Harkness, FACHE, who retired in August 2003, after leading the hospital for 21 years as president and CEO. Before coming to Dayton, Kinsaul served for 14 years as executive vice president and chief operating officer for the Children's Health System in Birmingham, Alabama. In this role, he was responsible for directing the daily operations and policy decisions of an academic pediatric health system, consisting of a 240 bed children's hospital, pediatric specialty clinics, satellite surgery and outpatient clinical facilities, and a primary care practice management company. A graduate of Jacksonville State University with a Bachelor of Science degree, Kinsaul also earned his master's degree in public health administration from Tulane University. He is a native of Alabama and was raised in Mobile. He and his wife Beth have been married for 33 years and have two adult daughters.

Peter S. Roland, M.D. is the Vice-Chairman and Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, the Chief of Otolaryngology at Parkland Memorial Hospital, and the Chief of Pediatric Otology at Children's Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He is on the faculty and staff at Zale Lipshey University Medical Center, St. Paul Hospital, and Children's Medical Center. Dr. Roland completed his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. Both his Surgery Internship and Otolaryngology Residency were completed at Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvannia. Finally, he did a Fellowship in Otology, Neurotology, and Surgery of the Skull Base with Dr. Michael E. Glasscock III at the E.A.R. Institute in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Roland's practice is limited to otology, neurotology, and skull base surgery problems associated with hearing, ear disease, balance disturbance, facial nerve injury, and tumors of the skull base including acoustic neuromas. He maintains full hospital privileges at six major area hospitals, is a member of many professional societies and committees, many of which he chairs. He is active in several scientific research projects, and has authored over 50 scientific articles on ear surgery, hearing loss, balance disturbance, facial nerve injury, acoustic neuroma, and tumors of the skull base. He has also authored book chapters, and Self Instructional Packages for the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery.

Dr. Dietz served in the U.S. Air Force as a flight surgeon and otolaryngologist and has been associated with Dayton Head & Neck Surgeons since 1996. While he treats all aspects of ENT, he has a special interest in ear surgery to include tympanoplasty (repair of the ear drum), mastoidectomy, and surgery for hearing improvement (stapedectomy, Bone anchored hearing aid, cochlear implant). Dr. Dietz treats adult thyroid, head and neck tumors and sinus disorders. Dr. Dietz also treats pediatric ear, nose, and throat problems and is Chief of Otolaryngology at Children's Medical Center.

Randy is going to be working as a coaching mentor, visiting practices and working with our staff to help facilitate well managed practices and growth. He will also be taking the 13 Highline team when Coach Hamsher has her baby. Randy set at Howard Payne University where he was awarded 1st Team All Conference honors in 1996 and 1997. In 1997, he earned his degree from Howard Payne in Sports & Recreation Management. From 1997 to 1999, he served as the Head Coach of Howard Payne University Womens Volleyball Team. In 2001, Randy began directing and coaching the Addison Boys Volleyball Club, continuing in this capacity till 2006. He is currently the Events Operations Director of Texas Stampede Inc, a non-profit organization that raises money for Children's Medical Center of Dallas.

Dr. Whittenberg has been practicing pediatric medicine for over 20 years. After graduating from Sterling High School, Dr. Whittenberg proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. His 2-year tour of duty led him to Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War. Dr. Whittenberg furthered his education by obtaining his Bachelor of Science degree from South Carolina State University. He attended medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina then completed his residency at Greenville Hospital System in pediatrics. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is board certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Whittenberg has been with The Children's Medical Center since 1993 and currently sees patients at the Simpsonville location. He resides in Simpsonville with his wife, Ernestine and together they have 3 sons. They are involved in several community and church activities. Dr. Whittenberg enjoys painting in oil and watercolors and playing the saxophone and clarinet.

Gina has been involved in the colorguard world for the last 11 years. Having had the priveledge to start at a young age, she started spinning in 1998 with the Beavercreek Elementary colorguard. She continued with the Beavercreek program until she graduated in 2007. After which she marched Zydeco colorguard. While in high school, Gina taught the Beavercreek Elementary and Middle school colorguards. She started working at Carroll in 2008 and is excited to start her third season with them. On a more perosnal level, Gina is currently attending the University of Dayton and majoring in accounting. She is also working in the patient accounts departments at the Children's Medical Center. Gina is super excited for another amazing season at Carroll!

Dr. Miles is ABPN Board certified for Child & Adolescent and for General Psychiatry. Besides her private outpatient practice with offices at Preston at LBJ, she currently serves as Consulting Psychiatrist at the Childrens Medical Center at Dallas, Attending Psychiatrist at Parkland Hospital in Dallas, and as Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Dr. Miles served earlier as the Medical Director of Psychiatry at Baylor Regional Medical Center in Plano. She received her training in Psychiatry at UT Southwestern in Dallas - both fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and residency in Psychiatry. Dr. Darby joined The Children's Medical Center in July, 2003. Dr. Darby graduated from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1995. He received his medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine, and remained in Columbia, S.C. to complete his residency at Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital. Dr. Darby is Board Certified in pediatric medicine. Dr. Darby primarily serves as the "hospitalist" physician for the practice. Newborns, as well as patients admitted to either St. Francis Women's and Family Hospital or Greenville Memorial Hospital, are his focus of patient care. Bill Blase is senior executive vice president-Human Resources, with responsibility for the development and implementation of human resources policies and practices in support of AT&T's global workforce, as well as the company's relationship with the unions that represent AT&T employees. From December 2005 to June 2007, Mr. Blase served as executive vice president-Labor Relations. Before that, he was president and chief executive officer of SBC Southwest, where he was responsible for overall leadership in the SBC Southwest and SBC Southern New England Telephone (SNET) regions, including network, consumer and business sales and external affairs. From April 2001 to June 2003, Mr. Blase served as president and CEO of SBC SNET, with overall responsibility for the company's wireline operations in Connecticut. Previously, Mr. Blase was president-External Affairs for Pacific Bell, where he was responsible for all regulatory, legislative, governmental and external affairs activities. Mr. Blase began his career with SBC at Southwestern Bell in 1979 as a customer services supervisor in the Business Marketing Organization in St. Louis. After holding a variety of positions in the marketing, revenues and public affairs organizations for Southwestern Bell and in investor relations for SBC, he became director-Federal Regulatory for SBC in Washington, D.C. In 1994, Mr. Blase was appointed executive director-Regulatory Matters for Southwestern Bell in Kansas and returned to St. Louis two years later as managing director-Regulatory and External Affairs for SBC. He became president-Kansas for Southwestern Bell in 1997. Later that year, he was appointed vice president-Regulatory for Pacific Bell, where he was responsible for state regulatory relations, strategy and implementation for formal proceedings before the California Public Utilities Commission and the development of regulatory public policy. Mr. Blase is a member of the board of trustees at St. Louis University and serves on the Children's Medical Center board. He is also a part of the Development Advisory Group for the National Baseball Hall of Fame and a board member of the Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business. Mr. Blase was born and raised in St. Louis. He holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Loyola University, a master's degree in business administration from the University of Missouri at St. Louis and a doctorate in business administration from St. Louis University. In addition, he is a Chartered Financial Analyst and has served as an adjunct professor of finance at George Mason University.
