Anne Marie Moncure served as President of Chindex's United Family Hospitals and Clinics for three years before assuming the role of Senior Advisor to the Chindex Chief Executive Officer in May of 2009. Before Ms. Moncure joined Chindex and United Family Hospitals and Clinics, she served in Delhi, India as managing director of the Indraprastha Medical Co., Ltd. (IMCL). Under her direction, Indraprastha Apollo Hospital became South Asia's first hospital to pass JCI accreditation. She is a recognized industry expert with over 29 years of operational and managerial experience which also includes senior leadership roles in healthcare systems in the United States, France, and Switzerland. Ms Moncure earned her MBA at Wake Forest University's Babcock Graduate School of Management. She is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and is an associate professor at John Hopkins School of Nursing in the department of Health Systems and Outcomes.
ROBERTA LIPSON , 54, co-founded the Company in 1981. Ms. Lipson served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors from 1981 until 2004 and has served as the Chief Executive Officer since 1981. From 1979 until founding the Company in 1981, Ms. Lipson was employed in China by Sobin Chemical, Inc., a worldwide trading company, as Marketing Manager, coordinating marketing and sales of various equipment in China. Ms. Lipson was employed by Schering-Plough Corp. in the area of product marketing until 1979. Ms. Lipson received a B.A. degree in East Asian Studies from Brandeis University and an MBA degree from Columbia University Graduate School of Business.

Shen Xiao Yan is the Vice President of the UFH Nursing Administrative Office. She is responsible for nursing administrative issues group-wide, focusing on UFH nursing professional development, establishing nursing policy and procedures based on JCI standards, standardizing nursing training, nursing staff retention and recruiting etc. Shen was trained in China, and has training experience in the USA. She has worked in nursing for 28 years, including 5 year overseas working experience in the UAE. She was promoted as nursing leader in UFH after 6 month of her employment in BJU.
Dr. Philip L. Brooks, MD, is the Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs and Group Director of Oncology for UFH. His responsibilities as SVPMA include leading and developing the medical staff. In addition Philip is developing a Cancer Treatment Program and actively overseeing the care of oncology patients. Dr. Brooks joined the United Family Hospital team in January 2009 and has 28 years experience as a Medical Oncologist and Hematologist as well as considerable administrative experience at his previous hospital in the U.S. Dr. Brooks is board certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, and Hematology and is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.

Mr. Stryker joined Chindex in 1985. He is responsible for company wide administration of all representative offices and subsidiaries. He was initially responsible for sales of capital medical equipment and served as a Product Manger for nationwide sales and marketing. He managed the capital equipment division from 1988 to 1998.
A graduate of the State University of New York at Albany, Mr. Stryker's studies focused on political science and Chinese culture and language. In 1980-1981 he spent a year in post-graduate study at Nanjing University in China, and continued language study at Columbia University in New York City from 1982 to 1985.
Mr. Stryker has lived in China continuously since 1985 and is fluent in written and spoken Mandarin Chinese. He is a member of the American Chamber of Commerce in China and is active in community events in Beijing.

Alan Kahn is UFH Vice President, Marketing and Communications, with duties that include evaluating current and future market trends and opportunities, strategic planning, coaching, counseling and managing group marketing resources. Alan first came to China in 1991, consistently providing strategic counsel to increase corporate value for scores of Fortune 500 companies and Chinese top brands across industries, such as Motorola, Google, GE Healthcare, Siemens, Unilever, Intel, BP, Morgan-Stanley, LeNovo, TCL, Li Ning, to name a few. His deep experience includes leading his own successful Beijing-based communications consultancy called Kahn and Associates, serving as Asia-Pacific Regional Manager for global PR giant Burson-Marsteller, acting as China Chief Representative for The Hoffman Agency, and serving as Business Manager of the US-China Business Council in Washington, DC. With approximately 20 years of corporate communications, training, and marketing experience in Asia, Alan is highly skilled in communications management, media relations, marketing strategy, effective brand building, public affairs, crisis management, interactive messaging, and a range of other key communications capabilities. Alan received his MA in International Affairs from American University in Washington, DC and his BA, Political-Science, from the State University of New York. He is fully fluent in Mandarin Chinese.

As Vice-President of Information Technology Services, Mr. Fulton is responsible for all aspects of corporate-wide information technology strategy and the management of information systems' operations. Mr. Fulton joined Chindex in 2004. Prior to joining Chindex, Mr. Fulton served for over 5 years as China Manager in the Information Systems and Services division of Delphi Automotive Systems. James Glucksman is Vice President for Human Resources at UFH. James has been working in China since the late 1980s, initially as a management consultant with Price Waterhouse and then as a healthcare economist and management consultant on projects financed by the World Bank, European Union and other agencies. His current position includes responsibility for group-wide compensation and benefit and human resource policies. James joined United Family Hospitals in 2006. Ms. Zakreski joined Chindex in 1994. She is responsible for the company’s US-based export, business development, regulatory, and U.S. administration operations as well as the company's Germany-based operations. Prior to her current position, Ms. Zakreski served as Chindex’s Manager of Business Development for eight years.
Over the years she has been involved in many aspects of the company's healthcare businesses, from managing the sale of equipment to China including through Export-Import Bank and other ECA-sponsored programs, to assisting in the planning and establishment of Chindex's hospitals. She has published and spoken on various topics related to the logistics of selling healthcare products in China.
Ms. Zakreski holds a BA in International Studies from American University and an MA in International Commerce and Policy from George Mason University . She speaks Mandarin Chinese.

Mr. Xue joined Chindex in 1996, initially as Financial Manager and then was promoted to Financial Controller (China). In April 2004 he was appointed to the position of Vice President for Finance and Controller (China). During his career at Chindex, Mr. Xue has been responsible for all finance and accounting operations in mainland China for Chindex’s Medical Capital Equipment and Healthcare Products Distribution Divisions, as well as all tax and audit issues for all Chindex entities in China and Global tax planning and cash flow forecasting.
Prior to joining Chindex, Mr. Xue worked in the Beijing Jinglan Hotel as Financial Manager from 1991 to 1993. From 1993 to 1996, he served as Financial Manager and Financial Director for the PSI Company and ASI Company respectively.

Ms. Silverberg began her career in China at the newly opened office of the National Council for US-China Trade. Subsequently she spent two years at the Beijing office of Sobin Chemicals and in 1981 together with her friend and colleague Roberta Lipson - founded Chindex International.
Ms. Silverberg graduated Phi Betta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude from SUNY Albany where she earned her degree with a double major in Chinese Studies and History. She has also studied at the Beijing Language Institute and Peking University.
Ms. Silverberg is an active community member in Beijing and has previously served as Chairman of the Board of the International School of Beijing and was a co-founder of and presently serves as the Chairman of the Board of the Kehilat Beijing and is a Director of the Sino-Judaic Society.

Xie Ming is the Vice President of UFH for Hospital System Development and his current position includes responsibility for leadership and management team of the hospital development of UFH. Sylvia Pan has been General Manager of the United Family Hospitals (UFH) Beijing Market since July 2008 and has been part of the Chindex organization since 1996. Sylvia received her Bachelor’s degree from Xiangtan University in 1991 and completed her MBA degree at Guanghua Management School, Peking University in 2001. She finished a second Master’s degree in Healthcare Business Administration at the University of Colorado in 2004.
Wai Ho Leung joined Chindex in February 2007 as Vice President of Medical Diagnostic and Imaging Products, overseeing Ultrasound, Clinical Diagnostics, Women Health and Government Loans businesses, and as General Manager of Chindex Hong Kong, managing the overall operation in Hong Kong.
Prior to Chindex, he spent 18 years with the Kodak Co., working in the company’s Hong Kong and Shanghai offices in the Professional Imaging Division and then the Health Imaging Division, holding several senior marketing and sales positions. His last posts in Kodak included Assistant General Manager in the Greater China Region, and Business Manager in the Greater Asia Region.
Wai Ho holds a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from the Imperial College of Science and Technology, London, England and an EMBA from China European International Business School, Shanghai, China.
Mr. Nilsson has served as a Director of the Company since January 1996 and as Chairman since October 2004. Mr. Nilsson formerly served as President of Cooper Laboratories, Inc.; President of Cooper Lasersonics, Inc.; Managing Director of Pfizer Taito Ltd.; President of Max Factor, Japan; and Chairman of the Monterey Institute of International Studies. Mr. Nilsson received a B.A. degree from the University of Southern California and an M.A. degree from the University of California.
HOLLI HARRIS , 41, has served as a Director of the Company since August 2004. Ms. Harris worked for the U.S. State Department at the U.S. Embassy in Moscow, and has since served in financial and strategic management positions in the energy, banking, biotech and automotive industries. In 2003, Ms. Harris was a Financial Analyst with Amgen Inc., an international biotechnology and pharmaceutical firm. From 2004 to 2008, Ms. Harris was a Financial Manager at Corbis Corporation, an international visual and image solutions provider. Ms. Harris currently is an independent business strategy and process consultant. Ms. Harris has a dual degree in Russian Language and International Relations from the University of California - Davis and an MBA in Finance from the University of Michigan.
