Peter Bauer successfully completed his engineering degree at the Technical University in Munich in 1986 and then began his professional career in the Semiconductor Division at Siemens AG. He initially worked as a development engineer in the field of microcontrollers and subsequently assumed a number of different positions in marketing. Among other tasks, he was given responsibility for the worldwide marketing of Automotive & Industrial Integrated Circuits, before he became General Manager of Chipcard and ID-System ICs.
In 1996 Peter Bauer took over the post of Vice President and General Manager of Siemens Semiconductor Microcontroller ICs. In the same year he was promoted to President of the division which comprised the Chipcard & ID System ICs, Wireless Baseband ICs and Microcontrollers business units. He was also responsible for the worldwide Sales and Application Engineering from 1997 until 1999, and was appointed to the post of President and CEO of Siemens Microelectronics, Inc. in Cupertino, America in 1998.
After the founding of Infineon Technologies AG, Peter Bauer became Member of the Board in 1999, first responsible for worldwide Sales and Marketing and following he was head of the Automotive, Industrial and Multimarket Business Group and responsible for Central Sales Functions.
Since June 1, 2008 Peter Bauer is CEO of Infineon Technologies AG.

After successfully finishing his studies of Business Management with a degree as Diplom-Kaufmann (graduate business economist), Marco Schröter began his professional career as a research assistant in the department for Organization/Human Resources and Information Management of the University of Saarland in Saarbrücken, Germany.
Between 1991 and 1993 he was Managing Director of the Europe Institute, Section for economics at the University of Saarland, where he did his doctorate in 1994.
After joining Stinnes AG (Germany) in 1994 Marco Schröter first was Head of the Central Corporate Planning division, consecutively he was Head of the department Systems in Central Controlling. From 1998 to 2002 he was Head of Central Controlling.
In January 2003 Marco Schröter became Member of the Management Board at Schenker AG in Essen, Germany. He took over the position as CFO with responsibilities in Accounting / Finances, Controlling, Risk Management and Purchasing.
Since April 1, 2008 Marco Schröter is Member of the Management Board, Chief Financial Officer and labor director at Infineon Technologies AG.

Until 1999 Professor Eul was General Manager of the Digital TeleCom and Data Com ICs operations at Siemens.
When Infineon was formed, he took over the Wireless Baseband and Systems Business Group as Vice President and General Manager. From 2001 to 2002 he was responsible for Security & Chip Card ICs operations as Chief Executive Officer.
In 2003 he was appointed as full Professor and Head of Faculty Chair for RF-Technology and Radio-Systems at the Hanover University. In 2004 he returned to Infineon where he first managed the Wireline Communications business group as Senior Vice President and General Manager and then, following the reorganization, he became the Group Vice President and General Manager of the Communication Solutions business group. Professor Eul studied electrical engineering and has a doctorate and professorate in engineering.
Prof. Dr. Hermann Eul became a member of the Management Board in July 2005. He is responsible for Sales, Marketing, Technology and Reasearch & Development.
