Chittenden works alongside corporations and municipalities throughout the Northeast helping to finance economic growth and development in the region. Corporate Institutional Trust provides asset management services for non-pension funds held by corporations, non-profits and municipalities. We act as corporate trustee on security agreements, environmental liability trusts and pledge trust agreements. We offer custodial services for holding the securities and assets in our client's portfolios and executing investment instructions. As an escrow agent, we manage in-kind exchanges of property, stock subscription services, court settlements and other contract obligations for our clients. Online access to an organization's portfolio is available through Portfolio Online, our secured Internet service. Portfolio Online is especially useful for corporate clients who are managing multiple accounts. With a single sign-on, the organization's total position can be ascertained quickly and efficiently. Chittenden currently manages over $4 billion in outstanding bond issues and is one of the few northern New England banks skilled at providing bond trustee services.
